Cam Update--The guys did extensive additional testing today and have determined that the problem is in fact up the tree. This is not good news. They are planning to try to get up the tree next week. We'll see how things progress. Not the way we wanted things to end for the season, but we are optimistic that we'll have an improved system next year based on everything we have learned this year. More as I learn it.

I saw 4 in the nest last night at BW, and sent the pics to Lisa. She was watching too, and emailed me back and said it was Mom and 3 chicks...still hoping to see all 4 chicks at the nest.

Just went to the CT osprey site and I am so glad the baby is back in the nest!! Another successful fledge! LOVE THEM!
Going to work on a little overtime for a bit.
Daddy and 2 baby cardinals on my roof. Babies just sit and chirp! Daddy feeds them. When he takes off, they chow down on their own. Love it!!

EAGLE-EYED SHARON---I have a nest of cardinals too---I keep checking Mom---she looks kinda "seedy" but still has the top knot------I have lots of birds here----I live in a cedar shake house (30 yrs.)---Guess who has been visiting me the past few weeks---WOODPECKERS---I know they peck to establish terr. & to attract a mate----But these guys are coming in pairs----so not mating, etc.----what to do????? AND IT AIN'T FUNNY----
