just tuned into an MT nest. :/ oh eagle, where art thou?
busy week. tired. slept almost 12 hours. thinking about the hot tub later to relax the back and shoulders.....
we have had lovely warm, wet weather this week. 60's for the most part. just cloudy, foggy and damp. thankful for the rain and moisture.
miss the sun though. ;)
I have a small announcement. I've been holding it.....not sure it was going to happen. but on her own accord, Olivia has chosen to go back to ice skating. I have to go down and buy ice time. but her private coach is still available to work with her and lesssons begin this coming Friday afternoon. we shall see.
no group classes. my very private child is much as I was as a youngster, not into big groups and classes. so it works. I get it.
hope everyone has a lovely day! will check in later!
Hi, Everyone, Finally have a chance to get back here and let you know what's happening in our corner of the world. Ken and I have been spending most of our time with our friend Luckie (Darlene), and helping her to cope with the loss of Jim and at least 6 storage units that are full of all kinds of stuff. Having been married for 54+ years, they managed to accumulate a lot of things. Thursday, and yesterday, we helped sort out 4 of the storage units, which thankfully are all at the same storage facility. When Jim & Luckie moved out of their last apartment 2 years ago, they downsized considerably, and then instead of an enclosed garage, they only had a carport. Of the 4 units we've been dealing with, one was supposed to be all automotive (tools, car parts, stuff like motor oil, antifreeze, car wax, and other things guys have in the garage), the second all computers and computer parts, printers, scanners, monitors, etc.,the third one things to sell at garage sales, and the fourth, furniture, sound equipment, a few guitars, amplifiers, antique law books, clothing and stuff that wouldn't fit in their mobile home, and a lot of pictures, mementos, souvenirs, etc.
Luckie managed to find someone who was interested in buying the contents of the "automotive" unit, and someone in the midwest who wanted to buy the contents of the "computer" unit. A good mutual friend volunteered to take a fair amount of the "garage sale" unit, and combine it with his and his wife's stuff at an upcoming garage sale at their house.
Well, we decided to explore the units and figure out which was what, and to our surprise, the contents of all of them were totally mixed up! We have spent a couple of days pulling boxes and assorted stuff out of three of the units, sorting it out, stacking boxes in the hallway, and throwing out what we could. Then, at the end of the day, moving everything back into the units before the place closed for the night. As of yesterday, much of it is now where it is supposed to be. What a JOB! We're all full of aches at this point. I'm staying home today to get some housework caught up and to do some more grooming on Emma (she's a constant work-in-progress), but Ken is helping out at the storage place all day today, too. There's a chance the guy who's interested in the automotive stuff may come by tomorrow (Monday) and make an offer. The place interested in the computer unit will give an offer based on e-mailed pictures of everything, and if accepted, will pay to pack it up and ship it to his location in a truck. These units are about 10'x12' each, and the contents are literally stacked to the ceiling. Some of the little computer parts contain gold, and can sell for up to $80/pound. There are 4 tall rollaway tool boxes in the automotive unit, FULL of tools, that could bring a good price, too. Luckie just wants to eliminate as many of the storage units as possible. We're accomplishing a lot so far, so it's looking pretty encouraging.
I haven't had a chance to catch up much on the blog, but I guess there are no eggs yet, though the eagles have been renovating the nest. I hope everyone is doing well, and I wish you all a happy MLK Day tomorrow, just in case I'm too busy to get back here tomorrow. Have a good evening, everyone! I ♥ us!
ANDY WOW what a nice thing to help sort through that many containers. What special friens you all are. I am lucky that I am a kind of person that doesn't hold on to things. Don't use it it doesn't stay with me.
JANET great news on the ice-skating return! I wish her luck!
What a great friend you are, Andy! I just cannot imagine all that stuff!
I keep going through stuff about once a year and try to eliminate accumulating too much. Jack 's shop is the worst! LOL
Storms here last night. Heavy Rain and tornado warnings. Tornado was just south of us and headed north and went just east of us. Our TV and cell phone was warning us! More fun! NOT!
Beautiful sunshine today after several days of clouds and dreary days! Yea!
Saw a total of 8 Eagles today at 4 cell towers they were feeding something. I did get a pic of a bobblehead at the freedom nest just so hard to get pic in that saucer!
Started home shortly after 9:00. In Denton the interstate splits E 35 goes to Dallas and W35 goes to Fort Worth, our direction to head home. Just as we got to the split traffic going to Fort Worth came to a halt. Many flashing lights of police cars ahead. Then we see over 40 police cars with flashing light cross over the bridge ahead to get on the interstate ahead of us. ?????? We follow that long line of flashing lights approx 40 miles all the way to north Fort Worth. Every bridge we go under has police cars and fire trucks with flashing lights. It was an awesome display. We called Laurel and learned a police officer had been shot and he died. They were escorting him from the hospital to a funeral home. So very very sad. He was 48, with 4 children, the youngest 2 mo.
What was really scary, when we came to a halt we were in the right lane to take the split to the right. An 18 wheeler came speeding and blasting his horn narrowly missing our line of cars, he was taking the spit to the left which was not stopped. Police should have taken that into consideration. Very, very scary!
Time to get my day started. Rainy, cool, may go to the movies this afternoon.
Very sad about the officer LOLLY. Rightfully so that he was given an honour guard. I can not understand the speeding 18 wheeler. SOmeone obviously with no commen sense not common decency. Glad you made it home safe and sound.
A huge snow storm here...shovelling snow is the activity of the day.
Cold and snowy and tomorrow rain. So many ofmy friends are on the road trying to come home...not sure how this will all come out...
Had planned to go into town to see a movie about an Eagle Huntress...I decided I can not drive. Some friends with four wheel drive will come out to get me...
Spent the day cooking...and trying to stay warm...
Hope everyone is doing well out there. Happy BIrthday Michael. I do remember 48 years old.
Nothing much on the agenda today. Need to take trailer to be inspected . We have a short trip coming up in two weeks. Traveling to the Rio Grand Valley in south Texas. Getting together with sister and brother. Have not been to the Valley since my mother died 10 1/2 years ago.
good evening to all has any one seen the sun? I haven't seen it in so long I fear it may not be there any longer!
seriously, January is wet, dreary, cloudy. we need the rain...but a little sun certainly would be welcomed!
work has been good. I am off this weekend, but taking my class for a concealed carry permit on Saturday. I will like the feeling of being able to take care of myself if necessary. Nashville has so many people who are homeless, and I would like to think they are harmless....BUT....reality is many are on drugs and such and I just feel so vulnerable sometimes. I do have my pepper spray.....but I've wanted my carry permit for a while.
I hope everyone has a great evening! light and hugs to all!
JANET know what you mean with the homelessness so many stay at the park while I am walking some are sleeping on benches. Sun. I have plenty getting a nice tan walking daily. Not to brag. LOL! We are going to get the cold front low on Sunday. Maybe bad storms also with it! Not getting what you are getting sis! Only the panhandle is getting it.
I enjoy reading your travel posts Lolly. Ofcourse also the pictures.
Janet, I became nervous as I read about your course. I am glad you are taking a course. Weapons and I do not get along. Best to you and your family. Stay safe. Skied today. Very enjoyable. Milder. I will head out tomorrow again.
My goodness, it's been so long since I have been over here, I don't know where to begin.
JANET, glad to hear that Olivia wants to go back to her skating...last I saw, she was getting pretty good!
ANDY, I would love to have you clear out my storage building. I go over there from time to time and never get much of anything done. I have so many things that I don't use or need, but don't want to get rid of them...I think I must be a HOARDER! SERIOUSLY! When Spring comes, I plan to rent a roll off dumpster and start clearing the building out. Not sure of the size, I think 12 X 24 and it is jam-packed full, floor to ceiling. Still haven't gotten GG's house fixed from the flood. Can't seem to get the ball rolling with the crew that I hired to tear up the carpeting and insulation in the basement, etc. They did a very goo job of getting rid of everything that got wet...ran about 10 fans for nearly a week to dry out the walls and floors after they tore up the carpet. Left me with an electric bill of nearly $400 (usually appx. $130).
LOLLY, I envy you and Jack with your travels, I miss that so very much. Go as often as you can, savor every moment!
HODA, glad to hear that you are still being active. Wish I had learned to ski. The Captain and I went to a resort for our 20th anniversary and planned to get ski lessons. Well, as luck would have it, the temps were too warm to make snow and there hadn't been much snow by January 2, so we hiked the mountain and visited the nearby attractions. We enjoyed our stay there, but lost interest in skiing.
Wow, it's 1 o'clock...off to bed with me. Love to all <3
Good morning! We're going to have tree work done today but they are coming Monday. Running behind with their jobs! We have an oak tree that is leaning too far...over the driveway where Jack parks his truck and too close to the house. Bye, bye tree!
So,today is open and a pretty day. Yard work here we Come! Went out for an hour yesterday. Did not rake leaves..raked acorns instead. The ground is literally paved in acorns. Never have we seen so many! Yuck!
Yes, Wanda, great to see you here! Just peek in occasionally! Want Margy to do the same! Miss her!
KKAY,PAULA SHIRLEY.JUDIE, MARGY,LORETTA,NCSUZAN, SHAR,BEV,ANDY,JERRY now need to say HEY sure are missing you all probably missing some names also. Just know you all are missed
Nice walk at park I try to get a hour in which is hard when the eagle is on the tower. Got another eaglet only one pic today from across the park standing on a bench.
Yesterday walk was broken up by fit bit in three different entry because of stopping for pics. I love it that the fit bit recognizes the different activities. I turned on the heart option also today I try to do that once in a while. Don't like it on all the time. Especially at night annoying green lite at nite and battery doesn't last as long JMHO Today was a straight one hour and nineteen min walk 7546 steps. I try to get my 10000 before I come home.
Well how long did they stay? Glad you gave the alert Judy.
Milder here today. Skied and went to meditation. It was our way to mark the innauguration in the USA.
I second on Wanda being here is a terrific thing.
Continuing to work on health issues and generally feeling very good about my efforts.
Accepting that this year is bringing a lot of changes in my life yet I continue to celebrate the things that I volunteer for and the work to be done to ensure a continued quality of life...
Looks like another day in the yard. Jack is already at work. Will be so glad when we have all the leaves and acorns up. Really a mess. Thankful we are still able to be the ones to do the work.
Have not had the cam up for a few days. Need to get there!
Storm tomorrow same one that made torando in the middle of the night. I hope we don't get as bad. They are saying 35 mph winds. That cold front. We will be looking about 53 not to bad for a couple of days
Angie just called their dogs server barking and going nuts outside. Went out and the had a baby tortoise. They are taking it to a reptile store. I suggested asking back neighbor but it's theirs. Must have came under fence. That happened to us eons ago also.
WANDA! absolutely LOVED seeing you here on the blog!!!!!!! come back!!!! please! JUDYE: I actually saw the sun yesterday and today. it felt amazing. I was thankful. Tomorrow? rain, heavy rain all day.
HODA: I have to say, as I grew up, Dad always had rifles and shot guns in the house. I used to watch him clean them, care for them, etc. One was always loaded and I knew better than to mess with it. I never shot one, I was too scared of the loud sound.
I bought a pistol years ago, as I was very afraid for a long while of my ex husband. But since I've had it, and I bought it in the 90's, I have never fired it.
I have fired a pistol a couple of times, a friend's and Tom's, but to say I was versed in how to handle a pistol, no, I was not.
Several ugly, scary incidents that have happened to me, both out in town and around the house have made me feel very vulnerable. I want to be able to take care of, protect myself and those whom I love. I am not looking to go gun toting like the wild wild west.....but to simply have a weapon at my disposal in case our lives are ever threatened.
I hate that I feel this way, but I do.
I hope, I pray I would never have to draw a weapon on another human being....not getting into any situations would be my preference, but, so much happens in the world today and so I would rather be informed and prepared than not.
I have to say the class was excellent. I learned so much. It was a women's only class and there were 20 women in this class, ranging from the 20's to a 70 year old woman. :) The next step is to apply for the carry permit, which includes a back ground check and finger printing
I would recommend if someone purchases a weapon, whether just for home protection or to carry, to find a course as such.
I am also planning on taking advantage of a few other courses that they have.
One is for Olivia, Niki, and me. It is a self defense course. No weapons, but how to stay safe and how to get out of situations if one arises.
(I asked Chelsea to join us but she declined)
I have wanted to take this course for a couple of years now, but could not find one. :(
Then they have a course for children (ages 14 and up) of basic weapons information. I want Olivia to take it so that she isn't fearful of weapons, but has a basic knowledge. Knowledge gives you power.
Finally thye have a class to teach you to conceal and carry properly. I want to take that class with Tom.
So enough about that! Unless any one has questions.
I am planning on a fairly quiet day tomorrow. I am tired!
Good afternoon! 61 and the sun has finally won over the clouds. Very, very windy. No yard work here but heading to church to clean up the prayer garden.
Thank you Judy. So glad you saw them. Two hours is a long time. Glad you took note of them. Are you still putting pictures in the Album? Jo used to create monthly pages. Does an administrator need to do this task? Thank you. You take awesome pictures.
HODA You are on the eagletmomster page on FB right? I do put pix there. Anyone can make the album's. JO had me doing them for months but I haven't put the pic of late on them yet. But I will!
Our storm have come and gone lots of tornado warnings and watches but nothing but winds and rain! So sad about the loss of life with the storms and tornados in other states.
good morning to all. JUDYE: I do not envy your weather. cooler here today; but still warmer than typical January weather. its just been so warm....nice, but not normal.
busy day ahead. I would rather not be busy today. but must "adult" today. sigh.
Made a apt for Thur to get oil change and a check up 95,000 on truck. I know I need tires but will get them at Walmart. Called JOE trying to see if I can change my insurance, on TV they say 31is dead line. Want to get out of the HMO. $12 a month is my premium but you pay for what you get I guess. We will see waiting for call back!
Yes Judy I am part of the group. I see your pictures there but also wondered if we are still doing the album. Thank you for updating it.
All good here... Hovering in the freezing temperatures zone... working with it... Ski a bit later and stop driving a bit earlier and also slower... What a winter it has been. Have any of you experienced the stormy weather I keep hearing about... THe East is going to get it I understand this weekend. Yet not the snow you all got last year. More of rain this year... Stay dry...
I was just thinking after looking at FB the on this day feature that the eagles have been lucky hardly any snow this year. Wrong I was So far I haven't seen our pair today
Is there anyone else thinking thatthey might have another nest in another tree? Remember we had that thought before. I do not think they are spending enough times in the nest. Today is the 23rd, so we are getting towards February and eggs. Maybe I am over thinking this one. What do you all think?
so I was more productive today than I thought I would be. Olivia had her allergy injection. ran errands. dropped Olivia at the ice rink. I walked her in; saw one of the coaches I used to joke around with. really liked him, he has a great personality and is a super skater. anyway, he was very surprised to 1. see us and 2. how much Olivia has grown in 2 years! I've been painting, making dinner, and just getting ready for the work week to begin!
one of my errands was Walmart. middle of the day. I did my shopping and walked out to the car. as I started to put my groceries in the car, I was paying attention to my surroundings.....and here comes a young man, dressed in black from head to foot, half my age and starts with "excuse me, mam" ...
I stood tall and loudly said "You need to go away". (I had my pepper spray in my purse at the ready). he went the other way and I saw him ask some other woman, who was leaning against her vehicle yapping on her cell phone. she got into the car and I guess gave him something. idk.
but I was proud of me. I didn't panic. I was alert, in control, and he didn't catch me by surprise.
as I was leaving I saw him and a buddy, who was dressed similarly, in front of the store chatting....wonder how much they make a day?
I just refuse to be intimidated or afraid any more!
its been a good day. not lazy for sure, but...a good day
HODA: we have had 60's and 70's with a lot of clouds and rain lately. the sun peeked out a couple of times, but it hasn't been winter weather by any means.
very abnormal, even for here!
skiing sounds amazing. I've never snow skied....but it looks as if it would be fun.
Janet, I, like you, am getting tired of pan handlers. Down town is no longer hippie town. It is where the drug dealers hang out and where the panhandlers harrass people. It is getting pretty ugly out there. We have eight or nine canabbis dispensaries in town and it is attracting people that I find not safe. The federal gov't will pass legislation this spring to make canabbis legal, yet as of yet it is still against the law. They will not like the regulations and I am sure there will be issues. I used to take the panhandlers in and buy them breakfeast or lunch. They have now taken over the streets of down town and I find it very unpleasant there now. They are aggressive and intimidate. I had one block my way and told me to give him a hundred dollars. I kept walking but was looking for a way out, he then said I do not care and to prove otherwise I should give him at least fifty dollars. I took my cell phone out and started to film. He called me a b---- and walked the other way!!! It is upsetting... I do not know where we are headed but I am not liking Nelson very much which makes me very sad as I used to think it was such a good place...
Good morning! I hate to hear that, Hoda! Nelson seems such a great , beautiful place?
Today we head to Denton again for BB game. Laurel's vacuum cleaner is in for repair, so for second week in a row taking ours for a quick sweep of dog hair. LOL
HODA: I am so very sad to hear that you have the same issues. I thought it was just the larger urban cities...not smaller beautiful places like your Nelson!
I also am alarmed and dismayed at the culture that seems to have become common place. I would help anyone whom I could, but these people don't seem to want to help themselves to anything but the money that I worked for.
anyway the sun was out today and it was quite beautiful. cool, but beautiful.
All Good. Yes things are turbulent here for now. I hope it settles back in again. I skied today in a terrific area called Busk. Next to a river...lovely spot and the conditions were perfect. I have to try to get some snow shoeing in too... Milder yet when the sn goes down behind the hills it becomes cold...sometimes also wind.
Health wise I am working on sorting out this Hyperparathyrodisim...I wished my appointment was sooner than the 27th of February to see the internist...so I will phone them tomorrow. I see my own doctor on Monday...somehow I am concerned that I am not hungry. I eat so I can get some nutrition, but I am never really hungry. I will see what she says about that.
Lovely day and I much enjoyed my time outdoors today...
Thank you for listening to my woes today... It will be better tomorrow...

I have a appt in the am at the Ford dealer. My 95,000 miles check up and oil change
Have to be there by 745 for the courtesy van. But then I though I may stay to watch the eagle nest at the tower there. Will ask how long they think it will take being I made a appt instead of dropping in! In other words no late night tonight I usually go to bed at ONE but not tonight gotta hit the sack earlier. Yuk
Good morning Judy. Glad the truck service is only an hour. Hope it is not too costly. Enjoy the Eagles. Glad of your report on our Eagles mating yesterday.
I had a hunch I'd find a greeting or two here and I thank you! JUDY your birthday message is quite intricate---very nice! HODA, I don't think of myself as "sweet", but do so appreciate the fact that you do!
HP yesterday, eh? I think they're going to be very close to the usual schedule. Yeah!
HODA, I'm glad you're going to see a doctor soon. A complete loss of appetite cannot be a good thing. Why does that not happen to those of us who could stand to lose a few pounds?
Kay, I do hope you had a wonderful birthday! Love our January birthdays! Ha! Monday is Gotcha Day! The first day we laid eyes on our son! He was so cute! Dressed I the clothes we brought and wrapped up in the blankets we brought. Promptly messed up all those clothes so we could count toesies! 😜😁
Out to work in the yard. It was very chilly this morn. Have waited for it to warm up a bit.
We were at Sams and saw some good looking big elephant ear bulbs. You know...the plant with large green leaves!! Surely you know! So the young clerk says "What are these?" I reply Elephant Ear bulbs. And her response was "Really?" I explained what they were and she said "How funny!" We left and then died laughing and a few "Bless her hearts!" We also came up with "alternate" responses. Like.."Just the ears, not the whole elephant!" Oh, the poor girl!
Beautiful day 77 but cold front for the next 5 days. Low in 40 you all know not liking that
Got my final recall on airbags all done with my appt. 99.00 for the check up oil change. Nothing wrong with truck what a relief to hear that I do need tires eventiybut OK for now in the yellow zone. I will get at Walmart 10% discount Ford was gonna match pics till they investated the price I don't think that thought they were soo much cheaper that they thought by 40 per tire. My momma didn't raise no fool LOL
Hey they other day I went to my McDonald's and presented the very young lady with a roll of quarters. She looked at me and said what am I supposed to do with this. I told her that it was $10 and my name and address was on the outside of the role she still didn't know what to do with it. She turned around and went and talked to her boss her boss told her the ring up the $10. I thought it was funny that they don't even know what a roll of quarters is nowadays. Wouldn't you think she would see that when she opened her drawer that they have rolls of money in there. Or maybe she didn't think they took course I have no idea. But I've got an apology from the manager along with the eye roll.
That story also reminds me of Walmart cashier that refuse to take a $2 bill because she didn't have a spot in her drawer for it. I guess people don't have common sense anymore!
I got pictures of both Eaglets earlier. I saw the attempted HP! But then my cam buffered so I don't know if it happened or not just like Sharon said. But shows you there attempting it.
Got pictures of one of the Eagles at the Walker Ford Tower when I was there. But no sight of babies but could be there in the nest Also got several pictures of both eaglets at Freedom Park So we know for sure to Eaglets at the park forsure could be 3 I don't know time will tell I guess. And so far I'm the only one that's gotten pictures of the Eaglets from what the Audubon Society said.
I just hope and pray this year we don't lose our babies like we did last year
I too am back on a more healthy eating pattern. from about Halloween thru my birthday I gave myself some room to relax. I did gain back 5 lbs. now back at a more healthy me.
in fact, the whole house is kind of following suite.
makes it easier!
we have January weather now. finally have a bit of winter, so to speak.
pretty soon we should be looking at some eggberts!!!
Interesting and active day. Had lunch with a friend. This is Chinese New Years Eve. Wishing every one a lot of strength as we face the year of the Rooster... Challenging year... Stay well. Keep reporting on the Eagles please. Hoping that they keep the previous years dates and habits. Someone said we lost our chicks last year??? My recollection is we had a fledge!!! Did we not?
Thank you Shar, I remember how distraught I was when they fell out and that I wrote them off and Jo corrected me and told me not so fast and they were lured back to the nest by the parents who brought food. They did fledge is what I held on too. Hugs Shar...with this hyperparathyroidism I am losing my mind too...I forget so much faster. I paid a friend ten dollars for two dozen eggs and then gave her ten dollar cheque today for the same two dozen eggs...good thing she is honest...Ha!!!
Lolly don't you go confusing people with Elephant ears and no body!!! Gracious me. I did laugh. I love the daffodil in your yard already Gracious but it is early...
Good morning! We see the end in sight....the raking and disposal of leaves, acorns, and twigs! However no work for me today.
Michael, Savanna and Zach's are coming this evening! Have Michael's birthday presents wrapped and going to give Zach's his present, too. His birthday is next Wed. He will be 11! We are going over to Dallas for his birthday but his present is big and since we are meeting them at a restaurant going to give him his present today. Got him a Dallas Stars rug to go beside his bed.
Anyway, house cleaning, grocery buying and cooking for me today!
Hope every one had an awesome day. It was interesting to try skiing on ice. Not so good actually. I liked being out in fresh air though. Hope you are all well. The weekend is upon us and I am volunteering with the eco society and going to my course...I hope to get in a ski or two also...will see. A friend wants to ski on Sunday. So we could go before my course... Glad of the Eagle reports and pictures today. Thank you .
Good morning all. Anxious to see the Eagles spend more time in the nest. Going to my course today. No new snow. The conditions are icy so I will give skiing a miss. Brought the most amazing apple juice yesterday. Not sweet at all. Delicious. Home grown and pressed. Delicious.
Hi all! Had a great day yesterday with Zacharooski here. Going Wed to Dallas to celebrate his 11 th birthday. Whole family is meeting at Papasitos restaurant.
Big achievement today! All leaves have been raked up and disposed of!!! Big celebration time! Oh, there will still be lots of clean up, but right now can sit back and wait for Spring! Wahoooo!
hi all. all who are here any way. hope more are lurking than are posting.....
its been a busy few days. I worked most of last week and spent yesterday vegging....slept in, cross stitched, did coupons, just let my body rest.
today I worked on and completed painting my kitchen ceiling. next is the dining room, but that'll be a couple weeks down the road, on my next 3 day weekend I suspect.
Amelia and I went this afternoon and picked up some rocks to paint for the 615 Rocks group. we've been doing this together and our plan is to hide them on Thursday. maybe we'll find one? that would be fun!
in case you don't know what i'm talking about, apparently there are cities to include Nashville that have started painting and hiding rocks about the city to provide smiles, inspiration, and spread love. its been fun so far!
anyway other than that, just the usual.
glad our eagles are back and nestorations and activities towards raising another family are going on!!
hi judy not sure whom we are chatting with these days. hard to let go, I know it is for you. i'll email you. love to all....anyone who might be out there.
They are both home now. It seems very windy yet again. One was actually sitting down in the egg cup for awhile, but then got up to rearrange sticks. The other bird is just standing around observing... I hope they know it's time to lay eggs!

good morning all
just tuned into an MT nest.
Glad Olivia is going back to skating Janet.
No Eagle in the nest.
Sandi your new foster looks wonderful.
How is the other foster do you hear from him or about him?
Hi, Everyone,
Finally have a chance to get back here and let you know what's happening in our corner of the world.
Friends ANDY not friens
Good morning eagle budlets
At Jordyn no school today.
Wanted to go somewhere but with the holiday closed. Grrrr they live right near Heritage Park. Love that place but closed today.
Good morning!
Yea!

Good morning!
Went to Denton yesterday for BB game.
My baby, Michael, is 48 today. My Baby! Yikes!
Good morning eagle budlets
67° out now. 78° high today. Heading to the park.
I got a couple of pix of one eaglet in the cell tower. So far only seen one!
Cold from with rain by Sun here then will be in 50 for lows
Good morning!
51 and the sun may come out!
Nothing much on the agenda today. Need to take trailer to be inspected . We have a short trip coming up in two weeks. Traveling to the Rio Grand Valley in south Texas. Getting together with sister and brother. Have not been to the Valley since my mother died 10 1/2 years ago.
Have a great day!
good evening to all
has any one seen the sun?
Today we were 82 the coast didn't get that warm 75 water keeps them cooler
Safe travels LOLLY when you go.
Love to all <3
PLEASE CONTINUE TO POST WANDA
LOVED seeing your name on here again
Good morning eagle budlets
Off to the park I go
Good morning!
Miss her!
Have a great day!
The TRIO EAGLE CAM is back up and running. They got the local cable do to support them. Was going to be wild earth but not now
And it has sound his year. I love watching when allmthree are in the nest
KKAY,PAULA SHIRLEY.JUDIE, MARGY,LORETTA,NCSUZAN, SHAR,BEV,ANDY,JERRY now need to say HEY sure are missing you all probably missing some names also. Just know you all are missed
Nice walk at park
I try to get a hour in which is hard when the eagle is on the tower.
Especially at night annoying green lite at nite and battery doesn't last as long JMHO
Today was a straight one hour and nineteen min walk 7546 steps.

Good morning!
Looks like another day in the yard. Jack is already at work. Will be so glad when we have all the leaves and acorns up. Really a mess. Thankful we are still able to be the ones to do the work.
Have not had the cam up for a few days. Need to get there!
Have a great weekend!
Good morning eagle budlets
Another beautiful day today
Storm tomorrow same one that made torando in the middle of the night. I hope we don't get as bad. They are saying 35 mph winds. That cold front. We will be looking about 53 not to bad for a couple of days
Angie just called their dogs server barking and going nuts outside. Went out and the had a baby tortoise. They are taking it to a reptile store. I suggested asking back neighbor but it's theirs. Must have came under fence. That happened to us eons ago also.
Dogs were barking. WTH server lol. Tablet corrected it. Duh

good evening to all.
WANDA! absolutely LOVED seeing you here on the blog!!!!!!! come back!!!!
I am tired!
love and hugs to all.
Thank you Janet.
It sounds well thought out.
It reflects that you know what you are doing.
Thank you.
Good day here. Some meetings and some planning.
Will go skiing or snow shoeing tomorrow.
What is that in the middle of the nest this morning?
Good morning eagle budlets
Hi Judy. You referring to the cornhusk or the reddish color leaf
Cornhusk has been there all week. Traveled all moved the nestn
Windy windy here storm will be rolling in soon
Traveled all over the nest the moved it so many times.
Welcome. Judy I forgot to say
I see the corn husk.
I am not sure the red is a leaf. I do not know what the red is.
As Judy E said corn husk has been there for a while.
Have not seen the eagles yet today.
Has anyone else?
Off to take my Buddhism class...will be back in the evening your time.
Enjoy the day every one...
Good afternoon! 61 and the sun has finally won over the clouds. Very, very windy. No yard work here but heading to church to clean up the prayer garden.
Have not had cam up. Need to do so!
Have a great day!

I would rather not be busy today.
but must "adult" today. sigh.
maybe more coffee will motivate me. lol
have a great day!
Good morning eagle budlets
66° out now and somewhat windy
Stay dry...
Hang in there Janet... Let us know how your day went...
I see snow accumulating in the nest
I was just thinking after looking at FB the on this day feature that the eagles have been lucky hardly any snow this year. Wrong I was
So far I haven't seen our pair today
Both eagles in

Thank you Judy.
Very good ski.
Some blue skies.
A bit windy.
Stayed out for two hours.
Will go with a friend tomorrow.
It should be sunny...yet the weather here has been odd.
Is there anyone else thinking thatthey might have another nest in another tree?
Remember we had that thought before.
I do not think they are spending enough times in the nest.
Today is the 23rd, so we are getting towards February and eggs. Maybe I am over thinking this one. What do you all think?
good evening everyone!
so I was more productive today than I thought I would be.
I've never snow skied....but it looks as if it would be fun.
hope everyone has a great evening!

LOL
Having beautiful weather. Presently 64 and sunny.
Have a great day!
good evening to all.
I hope everyone has a good quiet evening!
It will be better tomorrow...
good morning
HODA: holding you close in light and love.....

Yuk
Good morning eagle budlets
Just got the Ford dealership
Said no more than a hour so i decided to stay
One eaglet on tower
I was last off the blog and now first on. My nest at this moment
Good morning Judy.
Glad the truck service is only an hour.
Hope it is not too costly.
Enjoy the Eagles.
Glad of your report on our Eagles mating yesterday.
Good Morning Eagle Buds!
Prayers, as always, for those in need!!!
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
My delete---double post.
Good to see you Kay.
Yes you are a strong, determined, compassionate and sweet lady.
So there!
Get used to it!
Love to you and a BIG SMILE.
Whoops! Did not get on yesterday!
Have a great day!
Forgot...have an amusing story!
We have 2 beautiful eagles swaying in our nest.
There was an attempt at HP but not sure that the wind didn't cut it short.
Hello eagle budlets
But no sight of babies but could be there in the nest
Also got several pictures of both eaglets at Freedom Park
So we know for sure to Eaglets at the park forsure could be 3 I don't know time will tell I guess. And so far I'm the only one that's gotten pictures of the Eaglets from what the Audubon Society said.

New Year.s Eve. Sorry and excuse me...
Hoda, we had 2 "blow-outs" and then they made it safely back to the nest. Someone is mistaken for sure!
I love the daffodil in your yard already
Gracious but it is early...
Good night all.
See you in the morning...Hoping to ski tomorrow...
Good night my dear friend! I didn't know you had hyperparathyroidism. Is it being treated?
Good morning! We see the end in sight....the raking and disposal of leaves, acorns, and twigs! However no work for me today.
Michael, Savanna and Zach's are coming this evening! Have Michael's birthday presents wrapped and going to give Zach's his present, too. His birthday is next Wed. He will be 11! We are going over to Dallas for his birthday but his present is big and since we are meeting them at a restaurant going to give him his present today. Got him a Dallas Stars rug to go beside his bed.

hi all. all who are here any way. hope more are lurking than are posting.....
its been a busy few days. I worked most of last week and spent yesterday vegging....slept in, cross stitched, did coupons, just let my body rest.
today I worked on and completed painting my kitchen ceiling. next is the dining room, but that'll be a couple weeks down the road, on my next 3 day weekend I suspect.
Amelia and I went this afternoon and picked up some rocks to paint for the 615 Rocks group. we've been doing this together and our plan is to hide them on Thursday. maybe we'll find one? that would be fun!
in case you don't know what i'm talking about, apparently there are cities to include Nashville that have started painting and hiding rocks about the city to provide smiles, inspiration, and spread love. its been fun so far!
anyway other than that, just the usual.
glad our eagles are back and nestorations and activities towards raising another family are going on!!
hope everyone is well!

hard to let go, I know it is for you.
i'll email you.
love to all....anyone who might be out there.
There were 2, then 1 and now no eagles in the nest.
They are both home now. It seems very windy yet again. One was actually sitting down in the egg cup for awhile, but then got up to rearrange sticks. The other bird is just standing around observing... I hope they know it's time to lay eggs!
Good morning! Just saw two in the nest, but it kept freezing and replaying, so do not know what's up!???
Having sunny warm weather. Presently 62 and headed up! Pleasant weather in the foreseeable future.
Today youngest grandson turns 11. Heading to Dallas tonight to celebrate with Zacharooski!
Have a great day!
