SANDI, hope all those meetings go well---and I hope the new position will not be even half way as demanding in terms of reports and meetings!
JUDIE, hope the dentist gives you an A+ in dental care. Thinking of you and tomorrow's scheduled procedure!
JO, you and your regimen of treatments are in my thoughts as well!
Last day with Malcolm as his family will return sometime this evening. They're driving in from Falling Waters, PA, their last vacation stop.
Another day with threat of rain and temp in the 80's here. Tomorrow the skies clear and the temp drops about 20 degrees. No more rain or 80's til' Sunday! Yeah!
Our eaglets are at such a delightful stage---a joy to behold!

I am trying to figure out what happened with my donation to the eagle cam fund. I thought I had put it on my Visa card, but the Pay-Pal site popped up when I was making the donation and then my son got a thank you for donating on his Pay Pal account. I haven't fully investigated what happened yet.
Good hazy hot humid day everyone! This no a/c thing is getting tough. The "guy" is supposed to be here today though!! And, if not, then tomorrow a cold front comes!
SHIRLEY odd about paypal maybe your son used your email addy at one time with the paypal It is so much safer to use it also hope you get to the bottom of it Now you gotta pay your son back lol Or let him do the donation
good afternoon to all. just finishing up a cup of coffee to get my afternoon rolling.
THANK YOU STEVE for the nice new thread and to KAY for the call over!
I've spent the day running livvy for her allergy shot, a quick stop at Walmart, and then house work. seems my elves go on strike when I am not home and things simply do not get done...dishwasher not run, dishes in the sink, animal hair running amuck with out animals attached, cats had a cat box party and the litter pan was full (certainly our two felines could not have made that much .....) so busy day.
next Monday is the last day of school fo rthe year. I need to post grades and such and will do that next Monday.
getting some much needed liquid sunshine over the past couple days. nothing steady, but showers. it soaks in !
will check on everyone later. yes, back to the daily grind, but I feel oh so much better about it all!
Lynne2, I tried my AC last night...wouldn't turn on...put on a new thermostat...maybe it's miswired is my hope...if not, I'll have to call the repair guy too....who is probably busy as heck!
I am alive and well(?) but I am here with my friends. Just returned from sit down appointment with Dr Oh - cancer doc. He is pleased with the radiation treatment I received Dr Oh wants a CT one month from now and then the month following I will get the CT for the radiation doc. Oh doesn't like to wait too long for which I can appreciate. Even if the CT in July is clear - I will receive 2 Chemo treatments as a precautionary measure. They will keep a check on me forevermore ♥
Good day, Judie - Don't over exert yourself - feet up time in 5 min. I have seen almost all of the New Tricks - I sometimes go ahead and watch them again.
posted on the ole thread which was open so I will re post here
Adult came in and out real fast made a food drop and one eaglet claimed it Then the adult cam back as is picking at flugg while one eagle watches and the other is self feeding
poof that fish went fast was funny the one juvie took a small piece of fish from the remaining fish and Belle took it back to feed the other that isn't self feeding Good mom
Eaglets are making me nervous. Both standing on the crib rails balancing. Wonder if they know they don't yet have their flying licenses? Do wish they would return to the center nest.
Judy it is pretty light out by 4 am and sunset after 10 and still light out for another half hour or so. There is another month of even more daylight....We are Costco bound, Potter Marsh may be another day.
WOW I bet that is hard getting to sleep Body getting so much light but I guess you would adapt I have black shades in my bedroom Dark
Angie can't understand that Jordyn sleeps in when she is here because of it I told Angie Light in windows always woke me up hence the black shades and light filtering ones in her room
Hi all - just a minute to check the box so comments come to my inbox.
Jo, good to hear that your doctor is encouraged. I so admire your positive attitude!! Prayers continue for you.
Judie, sending positive energy your way for a successful procedure tomorrow.
Janet, congrats to you and Livvy on a successful first year of home schooling! I'm glad it has been a positive experience for both of you.
I thought today would never end but most of the meetings went well. I had 1 parent show up at 2pm and was irate that I made her wait in the main office until my 1:30 meeting ended at 2:30. When I showed her the invitation to the meeting that she had signed and returned with a meeting time of 12:30 and explained that, when she wasn't there, we had the meeting without her, she changed her tune!
I had another mother basically accuse me of making up some of the information I included in her daughter's IEP, until I showed her the Parent Input Form that SHE had completed and sent in to school, which is where I got the information!!
This evening I have to call the parents who didn't come to today's meetings to share what we discussed at their child's meeting and then revise 1 IEP b/c the student has decided she never really wanted to be a vet tech, which is what she told me 2 months ago when I wrote her IEP. Now she wants to be a musician - alrighty then!! Actually, I'm not upset with the student - I hate that I have to ask 14 year olds what they want to do after they graduate b/c I have to include post secondary education and career goals in their IEPs. Most 14 year olds don't know what they'll be doing 4 days or 4 weeks from now, much less 4 years from now!
Tomorrow is another day of back to back meetings, but then transition meetings will be a thing of the past for me!! I can do this!!
JO! I'm so happy with your great news and will keep the prayers coming!
Paula, I hope you at least have some fans and a shore breeze! Yes the AC dudes are very busy. Ours was supposed to try to come today but looks like it will be tomorrow....UGH! Worst day so far. Had to take the dogs outside in the play yard in the shade where there was a breeze.
It was 89 degrees in here this afternoon w/ 60% humidity. OMG! It's down to 84 but now with 65% humidity in here. But it's down to 74 outside...our little fans just are no match for the heat. They are TRYING to pull some cooler air in!
LOL Janet! I can hear my mother's voice saying how it was more work coming back from a vacation than just staying home! Well, while the cat is away......
another round of storms arriving now...poor Daisy! I did get her to come out to eat between them though....but I'll think she'll be hiding in the bathroom all night as it looks like even more may be on the way....
Sandi, so sorry the day was sprinkled with hassles. Hang in there. It is almost over.
I will be away from my computer for a few days. Sandperson will be on autopilot. Programmed departure time will be 11pm. Sleepy dust is in good supply.
Hoping the eaglets don't get too enthusiastic about flying just yet.
Wishing each and everyone one of you a wonderful few days.

I, too, am holding JUDIE in my thoughts today. Also praying for JO--so grateful for the encouraging news!
We've seen and heard of many eaglets who've fallen over their crib rails, so we know it can happen. I think our view is a bit distorted and that the rails are higher and more of a barrier than we think as we look on. Like Barbara says, so far so good here at Sycamore Palace.
Penny is peacefully sleeping as she recoups from days of having to keep track of every move made by Malcolm. Julie says he's doing the same thing!
SANDI, so glad your seeing the last of the IEP meetings! That lifts a big weight off your shoulders----glad you've been able to substantiate your reports, subtlety giving some parents "what for" when needed!!!
Jo and Judie are both on my mind today, and I'm sending up prayers for both of you. Hoping Judie's procedure is over successfully, and she will be able to rest and recover peacefully and quickly.
Judy, what a heartwarming update about Independence and Franklin! That is one blessed little hatchling! So awesome that they have adopted that baby!
I'm a nervous wreck watching our two juvies. Too close to the edge for me!
I will be away from the computer today because we need to clear out more of the huge boxes of STUFF in the garage. Want to be able to get the car back in the garage, so need to either throw away or relocate a huge amount of things that got packed up when the water leak started. Would much prefer to dynamite and start over! Perhaps we should look into renting a bulldozer and a dumpster!
Kay, I hope both Penny and Malcolm recover from their visit after a couple of "power naps"! Emma always does some concentrated deep sleep after returning from a stay at "Puppy Camp" when we vacation, too. I bet her sleep gets interrupted a lot by barking dogs and unfamiliar noises. They always play with her a lot to try to use up some of her limitless energy, too.
Lynne2, hope your A/C gets fixed soon! Can totally sympathize, since we don't have A/C. So grateful for our huge ficus trees! We'd be in big trouble without their shade!
Well, hope everyone has a wonderful day! Will try to check back in after dinner tonight. Ken and Emma both say "Howdy!"

Dental was fine. Now on for a few catch up chores - yes, a couple of small laundry loads.

turn to Judie and now I am hoping the

I'll be back later this afternoon.
Hi, Everyone,
Dropping in to say good morning.
Jo and Judie are both on my mind today, and I'm sending up prayers for both of you. Hoping Judie's procedure is over successfully, and she will be able to rest and recover peacefully and quickly.
