Good morning! Nice to see that Judie talks Skippi's language.
Paula, glad the tree and nest did not go up in flames. We raised two fine eaglets this year. May they live long and happy lives.
Have a routine doctor's appointment this morning, so have to go. But, I did want to say good morning...and I claimed a feather! Not bad...it has been a while.
Hi all, home from tennis. Two adults and one child are now on the road back to Missouri. As I said, it was a good visit overall. Brian and Lynnis and Freyja and the 2 dogs are still here for a few more hours.
I have already started washing sheets and towels and dusting and vacuuming bedrooms so we can shift the remaining people around as of this afternoon. I have also decided that, once Brian and Lynnis leave, I will be fumigating the bedroom and bathroom they used. Would like to hear from Lynne about a recommendation for what to buy - my vet is SO expensive I hate to call him to get something.
Oops, published before I meant to! Not sure how that happened!
Jo, I will be thinking about you, praying for you, and sending positive energy your way all day today. If you pary, don't worry is what I've been told - easy to say, not so easy to do.
Sad news about the cam but at least it wasn't until our juvies started leaving the nest. As Lolly said, we had a sucessful nesting season and have been so lucky to be able to watch this eagle family for so many years.
Wow - I just assumed the storm knocked out the cam but never thought about how powerful lightening could be. Well - Prez and Capt be on your way up to the thermals and down to the river. Hoping to see Belle and Shep soon (Even with just the ground report)
Steve the photos are self telling - WOW again. Thankful that the tree and nest didn't go up in smoke.
Jo, will be thinking of you extra hard today. Only positive thoughts will go your way today and always.
Thank you for the Momster email concerning the cam. I was busy trying to remove gum from the dryer when my phone made its "you have mail" sound! Break is much appreciated.
Will even tolerate the swirly thing for a few minutes.
Lolly, my Olivia wants to welcome Skippi but he is too busy antagonizing our canine house guest!
Just got home from school after a two test day. I'll be doing clinical on the Maternity ward tomorrow and Wednesday! Off to catch up on project on Thursday, then at school for class on Friday.
I'm in the final weeks...woooo-whooooo!
Jo, sending love, light, prayers and special thoughts. And, lots of big hugs. ♥
I do wish I had better news but I don't - at least not yet. My surgeon discharged me due to NOT being able to use CyberKnife or any surgery. This is because with my raspy breathing - he can't take any chances of putting me under to do the Bronchoscopy. Back to Pulmonary dr and he is putting me on extended antibiotic and higher doses of Prednisone to clear this left lung. We need to be able to find out the type of cancer and then how to treat it. Looks like some chemo and/or radiation - I'm gonna be right up there with Larry! ♥ All prayers and good vibes being accepted! Love Ya ♥
Home from work and saw both juvies in nest one was at LP and other in NHZ now both here the wind is horrible
JO sweet JO so sorry about the bad news But you have a great attitude and that will help Will be keeping you close to heart and as always sending healing thoughts and prayers your way I didn't know about the cancer must have missed something somewhere
To show what a small world we live in. I discovered today that Train's tour manager is from Princeton, WV. I sent him a friend request which he accepted. He also is a bird watcher and has several pics of eagles and assorted birds on his page. I commented on one of his eagle pics about participating in the eagle survey at Bluestone last year. Well, it turns out that his uncle, Jim Phillips, is the one who coordinates that every year. Train world just met eagle world. :)
Prayers for you Jo and lots and lots of love coming your way. Got to get that lung better to treat the cancer!!!
Going to the zoo tomorrow. Joseph is at church camp. Laurel asked Jacob what he wanted to do and, as expected he wants to go to the zoo. Meeting them there and they are coming home with me. 96 presently, really not looking forward to the zoo.
Jo, I'm praying for you too, and thinking of you constantly! God will get all of us through this. Out, damned spot!!! (((Hugs))), Jo!
WOW! I'm glad the tree and/or our eagles didn't go up in flames! That was a close call!
Well, Ken made it through his dentist appointment today! Half of his mouth has been deep-cleaned, and his next appt. is on Thursday morning, to clean the other half. Friday they start working on his bridge. Right now he's taking a nap. He got up VERY early today to go pick up Sis- and Bro-in-law, who are now back home from Hawaii. Their plane got into LAX at 4:40 am. Both of them had to go to work today--bummer!
Well, guess I'd better go spend some lap time with Emma. She's crying and giving me those sad puppy eyes! I give up! Will be back later, I hope. I ♥ us!!
Jo, you have a most positive attitude about life and this situation is no different. Know that your momsters and dadsters are here in faith, support, and love.
Righto, Jo, on the Prayers and Positive Vibes, and I second ALL the supportive posts from your Eagle Pals.... Nice to know that this very minute you are with "the kids" there....
As Sharon says: We are going to LOVE you through this.
When I whistle that at work, my co-workers rag on me because then THEY cannot get the tune out of their head
Love that ride at Disney World!
Andrea, Bravo for Ken, he made it through the first part of the dental work....glad you can give the supportive comfort we all need during that kind of stuff !!
Jo, I will not look at this as "bad" news, just yet anyway. A hiccup, yes. And of course you have my prayers as well, to stay strong, which I know you are, and for quick healing of the lungs so as to get down to business and OUT DAMN SPOT.
thanks to steve for the new thread....and the info and pix. woweeeee.
JO: light and love. keep it positive. let go of what you cannot control. blessed be.
I am tired tonight. been a bit on edge today, not sure why.
house is clean. went to the yearly staff meeting @ work. stained the deck some. got some pool time in. not really certain what my issue is. guess some days are just like that.
It made me very excited when I saw the Live Feed come up today. Adults and juvies made their appearance so now we know all is well at the Sycamore Palace.
My family gathered this evening here and we had a wonderful wonderful time I would pray all families were as close and loving as mine. ♥
Dropping in to say goodnight. Will say extra prayers for Jo and Larry and Laurel, and Thelma, Bev, and Shar. Oh--for Lynne2 as well, also Margy and Kay. (Not to mention everyone else here!)
Still haven't stopped saying thankful prayers that the eagles, juvies, and the Sycamore Palace are all okay after that lightning strike!
Sorry to report that our nearby City of Newport Beach, CA has lost one of its lifeguards, Ben Carlson. There were 10-12 foot waves and a riptide on Sunday, and he went in to rescue a man who was struggling in the rough surf. A set of 12-foot waves came in, and both men went under. The swimmer in trouble resurfaced, but Ben didn't. They found his body after a 3-hour search. He was a 15-year veteran lifeguard, 32 years old. Our son-in-law's nephew, who is also a lifeguard, knew him. He's the first Newport Beach lifeguard to die in the line of duty in over 100 years.
Going to set the security system and go watch a bit of TV. Have sweet dreams, everyone. God bless and goodnight.
Goodorming my eagle friends. Great to see the nest this morning, even though it is currently MT.
Jo, I am so sorry to hear your news that the spot on your lung is cancer. You will continue to be in my daily thoughts and prayers.
The house is much less full and much quieter this morning. I spent the day yesterday washing the mattress pads and bedding in the room Brian and Lynnis were in and then thoroughly vacuuming the bedroom and bathroom again. I didn't see any live fleas but there could be eggs in there just waiting to hatch. No one will be using that room for a while - maybe the rest of the summer - so if any fleas hatch, they won't have a food source. I've put a towel at the bottom of the door to keep any fleas from getting out to the rest of the house - fingers crossed.
Periodontist appt. for me this morning for a cleaning as a follow-up to my appointments last February and March - I'm hopeful that he will say everything looks good and I can just return to my regualr dentist for my cleanings from now on.
Lori, I know exactly how you feel - being excited about the end of school!! You should also feel so proud! My niece who was just here from Missouri graduates from nursing school in August as well - she is SO ready to be finished and get a real nursing job!
Good afternoon eagle buds. As Jo said, nice to open the cam if even to an MT nest.
I've been keeping up with the goings on here though I haven't posted. I went to Cuba Lake in western NY for the holiday. The fireworks at the lake on the 3rd were very nice. The 4th was a cold windy day. Not many birds there except song sparrows that kept us serenaded. MARGY, I said hello to your friend when I drove over the Roger Tory Peterson memorial bridge.
Today I decided to bake some blueberry muffins and zuchini bread-cleaning out last years frozen berries and zuchini. Thought I was out of flour--very unlike me to not have more than I need of everything. Fortunately, I found the last 5 lb bag so I could continue.
Sending up lots of prayers and good thoughts to all of you.
This is a statement from the National WeatherLynne Service.....

I just went to my email on FB and have one from June in the other file here it is with my answer
"""Conversation started June 7 Diane Shimizu-Terry 6/7, 9:30am Diane Shimizu-Terry hi have u heard from geula? we're fly lady friends. please let us know how she is doing. thanks diane Today Judy Eddy 6:32pm Judy Eddy Just saw this was in Other mail No haven't heard from her or others on the Blog She hasn't been on FB in awhile also Lots of other comment but to no answer I hope she is ok
Hi, Everyone, Just dropping in to say "Howdy." Wow, hope you are all hunkered down and hangin' in there with that weather back there! Looks windy at the nest, but no sign of the eagles. Can't hear them--only the sound of the wind.
We've had much different weather here today. It's in the mid-80s, with lots of sunshine. Our 2 Monarch butterflies have been flitting around the back yard, and enjoying the sun. Have seen our California Towhee and the Oregon Junco, too.
I wonder how Geula is, too. Haven't seen a post from her in a long time. Hoping that all is well with her.
Well, I need to go see how warm it is in the kitchen. I opened the patio slider and the front door a while ago, to take advantage of our afternoon breeze that comes up around 3 pm every day. It's from the ocean, and it follows the Santa Ana River inland. Since we are only a block or two from the river, we have that wonderful breeze to enjoy. Will check back in later tonight. Hope you're all doing OK, with no storm damage. Emma says, "WOOF!" I ♥ us!
Hi all! Got on last night to say goodnight and lost my post because of a stupid computer problem. Got fed up and went to bed!
Today Laurel and I took Jacob to the zoo! Yep, extremely HOT! But, we enjoyed it!
Jacob has been having fun with Skippi. And, Skippi is worn out! Miss Skippita goes to the vet Friday.. Adoption site says vaccinations up to date. Wrong....learned today she has had none. Grrr!
So, Queen Lynne now thinks she is working for the natl weather service! I am becoming a little concerned about the Queen!
My Fox 13 news is airing tonight no commercials because they have been struck twice by lightening with a pop up out flow boundary storms that have developed over Tampa Nailed with heavy rain 2-4" and lightening So they are flickering on and off of sorts and running a different feed that don't do commercial The cell is moving north of me so no worry here
VERY BAD STORM. Sadly, a young boy was killed at a camp not far from here. Eight other children injured. They were in an open pavilion and as the storm rolled in, someone decided that they should move to a building about 100 yards away, and through the woods. Trees came down on them. The storm was moving really fast, but they had to have known...I don't understand why they didn't move right away instead of waiting. So very, very sad.
Storm came through here. . . not as bad as we thought it might be. Wind, lightning, and rain. I checked the nest earlier, and it was mighty stormy looking there, then the cam went down.
Just happened to read Lynne's post right before I posted my comments. Really tragic. I haven't seen it on the news here yet, but I did miss the first part.
oh dear, that is a terrible tragedy, Lynne2, inconsolable.... I am so sorry to read of this... such sadness for so many
We had a whale of a storm move through here, I knew it was coming fast so I shut down most everything I could, lost power at 6:25 - a large area of town did.... finally it came back on at 1:31 that's 6 hours. I'm pretty sure GG was in the affected area...hope all is well regarding that....she has good neighbors who know how to help too.
I sure hope everyone in all our Eagle Corners are OK!
We got some rain last night, starting around 11pm, but nothing severe. Cloudy now but no rain in the forecast for the next couple of hours so I guess tennis will be a go. Looks like the sun is shining in Shepherdstown.
Lynne I can't tank you enough for your weather post yesterday. Hubby was mowing and after I read your comment and looked out to the west I hurriedly got him to park the mower and get inside. Just in the nick of time as the sky opened up as soon as he sat down at the table. Our electric went off 6:30pm until 10pm - lantern lights and battery fans. I didn't reboot computer when electric came on - We watched the news and just went on to sleep. This morning is much better
On Tues before 9am the pulmonary dr called and wanted to see me at 4:15pm and also to continue the antibiotic and increase prednisone to 6 tabs. So as of that appointment yesterday I will be headed in for the bronchoscopy (through the nose and not as elaborate as the first one scheduled) on Thursday at the hospital at 12:30pm. I report around 10. It will be about a 45 min procedure - lightly sedated - and should have good results in getting the biopsy. Then on the 18th, Fri I will be able to get the results and start whatever needs to be a treatment. Doc said he has been listening to my lungs for quite a number of years now and has Never Once heard me without my Whiz - he seems quite confident and I am so relieved this is the schedule.
I feel more at ease now and once procedure is finished I will feel much more at ease. I'll keep you updated -
Blessed Be JO. Thank you for sharing the next step. Glad your doctor sounds confident. My heart is lighter and I had me a few tears. I am relieved and again know that we have your back and we will walk through this together. Glad LYNNE'S weather report kept ED from getting drenched. Way to go LYNNE. Now I hope your Mr. ED got you back from your appointment today before the storm.
Say safe everyone back east.
Another scorcher here! 88 degrees makes it hard to breathe. Inhaling hot air is not so good! Yikes it will last for the rest of the week and 90's on the weekend!!! Cooler in Africa!!!
Will go to yoga at noon. Will go Dragon Boating this evening. Too hot to ride my bicycle.
Stay hydrated everyone.
As SHAR says GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME. Miles of Smiles to you all. PRAYING JO.LOVE YOU
Lynne's post about the children reminds me of the night I was trying to assure my Girl Scouts that all was well as we huddled together inside a tent during a big storm. I kept thinking of all the trees that could fall on the tent, but it would have been a long dash to a substantial building. Fortunately, we were okay that night.
Okay, Jo....got you covered in prayer for Thurs procedure. Women's group is gathering here at 11:30 for lunch. That is your appointment time. So, know that a group of wonderful ladies, approx 16, in Texas will be praying for you!!
I have made a pound cake and two dishes of lasagna. Jack is making bread in the bread machine and a friend is bringing the salad and another dessert. I think I am about ready for tomorrow.
Laurel and Jacob spent the night and left late this morning. We ha fun at the zoo but must say it was terrifically HOT! And, it is about time for you to start sharing the rain!! Please and thank you!
I am with LOLLY JO. Tomorrow praying for you and your medical team at ten thirty Pacific Time.
Nelson is six degrees hotter than Cairo Egypt! Time for you Easterners to send some of this rain out west! By the end of this week our fire hazard is going to be high I am sure! Tinder box time!
Stay safe everyone.
Glad hubby got you back home in time JO, before the downpour.
its been a busy couple of days. I am still working at staining the deck. its a big one and I work a couple hours at a shot.
went to lowes last night; we seem to have taken up residence there lately, lol. bought some material to replace some of the panels on the hot tub!!!! tom ordered a new cover for it so we should have it operational again soon.
the boat part came in, but it doesn't appear that that was the part that was out of order. a new starter is on order now.
this seems to be a productive summer for us.
JO: as always, holding you close in my heart and thoughts for your highest and greatest good.
keeping each of you close....
we had a lovely rain shower about mid afternoon. tom and I sat out on the back deck (its covered) and enjoyed the sound of the rain and the cooler breezes.
I did not get in the pool today. (I KNOW you are Shocked!) I had my friend Amie over yesterday. I am turning all of my Reiki classes over to her. We have been splitting them, 3 for her, 3 for me a year, but I am tired. Working, family, etc. She has a bit more time than I do to devote to this and I need a break. So I am helping herget a certain certification for teaching massage therapists. She has been working under mine, but I want to retire mine, at least for now. Anyway, after we worked on that< we floated in the pool. WELL two+ hours went by lickety split and I seem to have developed a sensivity to sun....this is the 2nd time this has happened this year. A nasty rash and bright red blotches ....ooops. Took the day off from my Vitamin D exposure.
Calling it a night. SED to one and to all! hugs and love!
Thank you JO for the times tomorrow...it helps me...I thought I was to focus at ten ten but it is really nine ten that I start my prayers for you and for your medical team... JUFIE could only come in handy if JO reports that they bothered her in any way or that she found them discourteous or lacking in bed side manners...in which case we shall unleash more than JUFIE I tell you!!! Keep her under control then JUDIE will ya?
Great paddle on the lake...we are getting into race starts and we are moving that Dragon FAST I tell you... A rice cake with some honey is called for tonight I tell you...
I do not know about why the decision was not made to move the kids before the storm. I know these things do happen. I know three kids who were out walking with their parents in an area I used to walk...wind picked up trees came down, hit all three kids, parents were torn running from one kid to another trying to free them and held them while they died and then needed to split as she walked out to get help and he stayed in with the one remaining kid and the bodies of the other two. That was in Alberta over ten years ago. I know that the adults in charge will spend the rest of their lives second guessing this one...Prayers for every one.
Headed in to watch some news Glad you got decent rain, Paula. Our rain was the same today. Lots of power outages from the earlier storm. Some aren't estimated to return until the 13th Whoa!
I'll pop in before leaving tomorrow morning...... All is good...
This storm came VERY fast, although it was clearly coming and a watch was in effect and then the warning.
Details on exactly what happened have varied slightly from report to report. Maybe the adults with the kids were not aware of the storm coming? Who knows. As always happens, shock and anger will lead to blame. It's so very hard for anyone to understand God's plan when all anyone wants it answers, and for it to have not happened at all.
Gosh, doing nothing much today sure wore me out. More tired now after reading Hoda's post.
Jufie is being very stubborn. Refuses to accept being denied the privilege of protecting Jo. Stormed out a while back headed for the valley. Jo, just tell the doctors that Jufie rules! lol
Sandperson is out and about. Made a very early visit to Janet. Night light is on. Restful sleep for all.
I would like to hear Jo explain Jufie to her doctors. That should be interesting.
Hunter Story:
Hunter gets a list of chores every day, sometimes from Kathryn, sometimes from me. Today I told him to pull the weeds from my flower garden in the front yard, and that I would go out to make sure he knew what to pull. He confidently told me that he knew the difference between weeds and flowers.
He thought he should get a shovel to dig up the weeds. That worried me. He went out and came back in within a couple of minutes with the information that there were only a couple of weeds and it was starting to rain.
I went out to show him that there were lots of weeds. (It did look like rain was close, but that was it.) I pointed out some healthy crabgrass pants that I wanted him to pull, but he insisted that they were flowers I'd planted. Yikes!
After much pointing out of weeds, and discussion, we got most of the weeds pulled before it really did start to rain.
A kid should know the difference between crabgrass and flowers. It was a worthwhile discussion.
This afternoon, the skies opened up and Hunter and I got soaking wet at McDonald's. Kathryn's office flooded--again. She was rushing around unplugging computers and putting things above water level. They even had hail.
We could have used a little bit of that rain at home, but our neighborhood did not get any of it, though I have been hearing thunder tonight.
Goodorming all. Nest looks and sounds MT. Looks sunny in Shepherdstown - cloudy here. We got rain again last night but nothing severe.
Jo, I hope you will feel the positive energy from all of the prayers that will be directed your way this afternoon!!
No tennis for me this morning - we are meeting with a landscaper to discuss having some hardscaping done in our driveways and around the edges of our gardens out front. The stacked stone walls we had done 8 years ago are looking pretty shabby - they have been hit by too many vehicles pulling in and out.
Have a good day. I hear something in the tree near the cam but still don't see anyone in the nest.
Just a quick Good Morning! And, I wanted especially to say good morning to Jo! We have your back, Jo! It is covered in prayer! Love you...hugs coming your way.
OK JO should be in recovery now. Blessed Be. Waiting for Friday the 18th JO to hear what your course of treatment will be. Prayers continue. Love and Lighr your way.
Meanwhile back at the ranch, I have had rats, at least 5 babies, eating at my bird feeders. I was willing to let it go for now until I saw an adult rat catch a sparrow and take it under the walkway. I have never heard of such a thing. Have you?
Well I went in at 10:00am and registered Went back to get IV and give med history Into Procedure room for initial prepping All hooked up and I think I then went under....
BUT oxygen dropped too low for Dr to feel comfortable to continue
He talked with Hubby - will reschedule and will be using the breathing tube Sometime next week I guess............
Disappointing but what can you do? Perhaps 3rd time will be a charm..............
Love you all and we'll do this again one day next week........... Jo

Oh, no Steve! Not good!
Thanks for the new thread and will go call the other over.
HOLY CRAP!
Glad our birds are OK...guess we are done for the season :(
Any chance of the barn cam ??? :)
I posted a message last night, but it landed in cyber space.
Welcome home, Judy.
Kay sorry you were feeling puny on the 4th.
Had a great weekend...need to be back at work to rest up!
Later Gators!
Thank you STEVE for part two.
Thank you LOLLY for the call over.
I second PAULA'S COMMENTS.
Guess we are toast for the season. The barn cam would be good.
Thank you NCTC
Any visual sighting of the juvies or the eagles?
Here's a pic of some of the lovely crabs we caught over the weekend.
JO PRAYERS...
Hi all, home from tennis. Two adults and one child are now on the road back to Missouri. As I said, it was a good visit overall. Brian and Lynnis and Freyja and the 2 dogs are still here for a few more hours.

Wow - I just assumed the storm knocked out the cam but never thought about how powerful lightening could be.
Well - Prez and Capt be on your

Steve the photos are self telling -
WOW again.

OK. I see an eagle tail for two seconds and then the swirly thing again. Guess I will go back to gum removal.
Have a safe and healthy day everyone.
It looks like the surge protector is what got hit instead of the camera.
Sharon, it does look like the surge protector...thank goodness!
HELLO on lunch and I find two threads and the cam up YEAH

Hi everyone!
Home from doctor appointment and then ran errands. Thinking of Jo and lifting her in prayer.
Yay, Lori! Won't be long now! So very proud of you!
Eaglet in the nest...see a tail peeking out of the NHZ
Maybe 2 In the nest :)
Hi Lori!!
I do wish I had better news but I don't - at least not yet.
My surgeon discharged me due to NOT being able to use CyberKnife or any
surgery. Love Ya ♥
You got it JO. We love you!
BBL dinner and then kids are coming over around 7:00
OK JO.
We hear you.
Not what I was hoping for but it is what it is.
Clear the lung first and then deal with the cancer.
Begone Damn Spot! Begone!
I am encouraged by your humour! No need to compete with LARRY. We will give you two HERO LOVE LIGHT prizes!!!
So keep us posted as to your medical team, your health progress and the support you would like to receive.
YOU ARE PRECIOUS
YOU ARE STRONG
YOU ARE LOVED
YOU ARE NEEDED
YOU ARE OUR MATRIARCH
So just letting you know you have got miles to go yet...
May God Almighty Sustain You and Support You.
I just noticed that the message is still under the cam about being off line maybe we are all imagining the cam on lol lol
Judy - refresh your cam
My message :
Welcome to the 2014 Winter Nesting Season of EagleCam. Come back daily to see what's happening! Watch on iPhone and iPad, too! -
To show what a small world we live in. :)
Checked in to see if Jo had posted, and I see that she has.
Prayers and every good wish for you Jo. We well be with you in every way that we can.
Good vibes coming your way, Jo. We love you.
Such a small world Sharon.......
"eagles' talk" can open up lots of new friendships........ ♥
Hi, Gang,
Jo, I'm praying for you too, and thinking of you constantly!
As Sharon says: We are going to LOVE you through this.
xoxo
I'm humming in my head now, Sharon
"It's a Small World, After All" :)
When I whistle that at work, my co-workers rag on me because then THEY cannot get the tune out of their head
Love that ride at Disney World!
Andrea, Bravo for Ken, he made it through the first part of the dental work....glad you can give the supportive comfort we all need during that kind of stuff !!
Super to see Lori here earlier!
And all others too
Oh Lolly, I'll say HOT!
Hope you can go to all the cool INSIDE exhibits at the zoo
Judie, Jo: I have been catching some Masterpiece Mystery shows too when I can, great stuff....
Best Wishes, Everyone for a Good Evening and a Good Night
ADULT IN
Jo, lifting you and your beautiful family up.
evening all....
Jo, I will not look at this as "bad" news, just yet anyway. A hiccup, yes. And of course you have my prayers as well, to stay strong, which I know you are, and for quick healing of the lungs so as to get down to business and OUT DAMN SPOT.

This message is NOT from Joker. Joker asked me to type it for him as he is far to dignified to step on the keyboard.
HOLY MOMMA! Are we ever lucky the cam got hit and not the TREE!!!!!
Sandi, you have EMAIL!
We have a hen turkey and some babies on the property here! I haven't seen them yet (of course) but Steve and the dogs did the other day!!
Forgot my manners earlier today.
Steve thank you for the fresh thread and the report and pictures. So thankful the eaglets, Belle and Shep, and the Sycamore were spared.
Lolly, congratulations on a new feather.
Sandperson will be on the way soon.
Restful sleep for all.
good evening to all.
thanks to steve for the new thread....and the info and pix. woweeeee.
JO: light and love. keep it positive. let go of what you cannot control. blessed be.
I am tired tonight. been a bit on edge today, not sure why.
house is clean. went to the yearly staff meeting @ work. stained the deck some. got some pool time in. not really certain what my issue is. guess some days are just like that.
hope everyone has a dandy evening! SED to all!
It made me very excited when I saw the Live Feed come up today. Adults and juvies made their appearance so now we know all is well at the Sycamore Palace.
My family gathered this evening here and we had a wonderful wonderful time
I would pray all families were as close and loving as mine. ♥
Thanks for all your comments to me - I love you all so dearly. Yes, we will get through this with our love and friendships. You will all be my
"rock".
Goodnight and God Bless

I love us ♥
Going to head up to bed. Will say a prayer for Jo. God bless and keep us through the night.
SED, everyone.
Hi, Everyone,
Dropping in to say goodnight.
Prayers for Jo and Larry and Thelma.
Have a good day all.
Good morning eagle buds

Good morning to all ♥
I Love to be able to open our cam even if it is just an MT nest.
Beautiful day with my squirrels all over the deck and the birds flying in to the peanuts and sunflower seeds
Wishing for all to have a Terrific Tuesday - enjoy Life.
good Tuesday morning to all. feeling more like me today.
we have air you can wear today. thick humidity.
rain.
we did need some rain though.
everyone, have a great day!
Sandi, fleas do go dormant and wait for a warm body to enter the room.
I am hearing all kinds of squealing, but seeing nothing at the nest.
Is all of the action in the NHZ or are there eagles squealing in my backyard?
Maybe the action is on a nearby branch. Definitely at the nest.
Good grief, squealing and cam shaking. No eagles visible.
Very busy day at the Sycamore Palace, even thought it is all off the screen.
So glad Steve and crew got the cam working again. Thanks.
Squealing and some other kind of animal sound. Not sure what is happening. Very loud squealing. Wow. Hope everything is okay.
More loud squeals.
DING DONG
DING DONG
that is me ringing the door bell
may I come in

and the nest is MT
They must be on a nearby branch.
Do you have your sound on, Judy?
I have never heard so much eagle squealing.
very WINDY at the nest today...can really hear the wind...haven't heard the juvies yet...of course, I just tuned in.
Noticed the wind, too, Paula.
More squeals.
Whoo boy, if I don't soon get me a computer with the live feed at the Sycamore Palace, I'M GONNA BE SQUEALING AND SQUAWLING !!
Good reports, folks....
grannyblt: oh, I want to not only go birdwatching with you, BUT also share in those good vittles you are baking today !!!
Good Evening, Precious Pals

I could just go on down and
see it and hear it for real I guess...but car's been acting up,
kinda wary about anything but very local traffic :(
not to worry, the rest of my world
is percolating along okay
(except still waiting on the full A/C repair to occur )
It has been very breezy all day hereabouts...waiting on whether a storm will eventually move through, predictions are for 60% chance of it
We could use some rain, just that, rain, nothing else too dramatic
It is a JOY that our JO was the first to discover that despite the storm devastation from last Wednesday....
There is Live Feed
That's Our JO !!!
(( HUGS, Pals ))
back to whatever I was trying to
plow through here

more eagle talking
Hi, Everyone,
Just dropping in to say "Howdy."
Wow, hope you are all hunkered down and hangin' in there with that weather back there!
Emma says, "WOOF!" I ♥ us!
yep more eagle ruckus going on
wind has died down and just heard 4 eagle chirps and now more as I type
does anyone else see on the white branch on the lower left
something that looks like a black snake LOL
several more chirps
Lifting JO up in prayers.
Be in wellness and strength.
Easy hot day here.
Staying hydrated.
ADULT IN
BELLE has black on her beak
adult still in nest the juvie was at launch pad but has moved on the NHZ
She cleaned off whatever it was.
Belle was digging in the nest and juvie came over screaming thinking there was food LOL
gone off to the back of the nest
I guess digging in the nest removed it SHARON huh
Good evening all.
I see that Jacob has officially initiated Skippi into the Ellis family. So sweet.
I also see that the Queen is experiencing delusions of being a meteorologist.
I am experiencing the reality of tiredness and the effects of a rather unpleasant storm. Need to shut down.
Sandperson is in the hall closet packing a satchel. Says he will be watching over Jo.
Night light is on. Restful sleep for all.
My Fox 13 news is airing tonight no commercials because they have been struck twice by lightening with a pop up out flow boundary storms that have developed over Tampa Nailed with heavy rain 2-4" and lightening So they are flickering on and off of sorts and running a different feed that don't do commercial The cell is moving north of me so no worry here
Have had a fun evening. Skippi is going to sleep tonight!! Jacob has worn her out!
Love to all! SED!!!
Good evening,
Stopping by to say good night.
Storm came through here. . . not as bad as we thought it might be. Wind, lightning, and rain. I checked the nest earlier, and it was mighty stormy looking there, then the cam went down.
Oh, that is sad, Lynne.
SED, everyone.
Just happened to read Lynne's post right before I posted my comments. Really tragic. I haven't seen it on the news here yet, but I did miss the first part.
Very sad LYNNE.
Condolences.
Hot here!!! 88 degrees!
GOD IT IS AWFUL.
Praying.
Glad you are safe
Good night
God Bless Us All
The high here today was 97, Hoda. I did not spend too much time outdoors. Watered plants, though.
I feel so frustrated. There was plenty of warning that there were storms coming. I just don't understand why the kids were out.
my gosh Hoda, that's pretty darn hot for you up there...hope the humidity isn't too bad!
oh dear, that is a terrible tragedy, Lynne2, inconsolable....
I am so sorry to read of this...
such sadness for so many
We had a whale of a storm move through here, I knew it was coming fast so I shut down most everything I could, lost power at 6:25 - a large area of town did....
finally it came back on at 1:31
that's 6 hours.
I'm pretty sure GG was in the affected area...hope all is well regarding that....she has good neighbors who know how to help too.
I sure hope everyone in all our Eagle Corners are OK!
Good Night, Good Morning Eagle Pals
God Bless Us,
Every One xoxo
Goodorming my eagle friends. Both juvies in the nest, one mantling over some food. Lots of noise going on as well.
We got some rain last night, starting around 11pm, but nothing severe. Cloudy now but no rain in the forecast for the next couple of hours so I guess tennis will be a go. Looks like the sun is shining in Shepherdstown.
Prayers for Jo, Larry, and Thelma.
Have a good day all.
Good monring to a juvie in the nest
one juvie just flew up not certain if the stump or out of the nest
good morning to all.
have a great day!
Good morning everyone.
Very sad about the children. No doubt they thought an enclosed area would be safer not thinking about trees falling down. Very sad.
Nassy nassy storm here last night. Still rainy overcast this morning.
Happy everyone is safe.
Isla's eggs were non-viable attributed to fertility issues.
Think this is a stay inside and read day.
Wishing everyone a pleasant morning.
Thoughts and prayers for our Geula....things are not going well in Israel.
has anyone heard from her lately?
Good morning to all ♥
Lynne I can't tank you enough for your weather post yesterday. Hubby was mowing and after I read your comment and looked out to the west I
hurriedly got him to park the mower and get inside. Just in the nick of time as the sky opened up as soon as he sat down at the table. Our electric went off 6:30pm until 10pm - lantern lights and battery fans. I didn't reboot computer when electric came on - We watched the news and just went on to sleep. This morning is much better
Happy that all are checking in!
Have not heard from Geula for such a long time, Lynne. Prayers for her safety.
My earlier comment on your weather forecast - THANK YOU
On Tues before 9am the pulmonary dr called and wanted to see me at 4:15pm and also to continue the
antibiotic and increase prednisone to 6 tabs. So as of that appointment yesterday I will be headed in for
the bronchoscopy (through the nose and not as elaborate as the first one scheduled) on Thursday at
the hospital at 12:30pm. I report around 10. It will be about a 45 min procedure - lightly sedated - and should have good results in getting the biopsy.
Then on the 18th, Fri I will be able to get the results and start whatever needs to be a treatment.
Doc said he has been listening to my lungs for quite a number of years now and has Never Once heard
me without my Whiz - he seems quite confident and I am so relieved this is the schedule.
I feel more at ease now and once procedure is finished I will feel much more at ease.
I'll keep you updated -
Love ya, Jo

More dark storm clouds coming in from the West - Storm's a brewing!
Headed to hair cut at 1:00
Hope my hubby gets me there and back home before it all breaks loose.

Good news on the procedure Jo.
PRAYING JO.LOVE YOU
Juvie laying in the nest...I hear peeping :)
No storm yet! Home again with a nice cool hair trim.
Juvie is at the launch around 3:00 position. Can only see the tail.
Feet up for an hour while I watch
New Tricks........
Hello on lunch and see a juvie on the launch pad
Its raining its pouring and I am not snoring LOL hope its over by time I get off from work at 5 been doing on and off all day Big boom boom pow
Think the juvie is finishing up lunch :)
Both are in the nest! 2nd one just appeared from the NHZ
aw, one is plotzed....LOL
Didn't like Sib poking at him...flapped at him...little squabble...all is well. :)
They are investigating for nestovers in the launch pad area...picking at leaves and such, too.
Don't see any juvies at present...
My valley just had a beautiful down pour of rain - sun is shinning - not really a storm. Just refreshing!
Sometimes it is very hard to know what to do.
I agree Shirley - I remember rain and even snow on an early spring
camp out. Scary to be the responsible party of so many young lives.
Tried to do a bit of blog reading. Hugs/prayers Jo.
Noticed mention of Geula - someone might try getting news of her from this website: http://find.kibbutzvolunteers.org.il/wall.php?kibbutz=15
It is for Kibbutz Barkai, which I believe was once part of her address.
Keeping all in thoughts & prayers.
Summer about half over - hope you are able to make it a good one.
Thanks CarolAnne - I'll check out that site on Geula
Hope all is well in Wisconsin!
Hi all,
Thunder and lightening here. Will shut down for a bit. Rain is good. Other stuff is not.

Skippi slept well last night and she is sleeping well this afternoon. Jacob played so well with her. Proud of him! Skippi is plumb tuckered out. LOL
So very sad for the young child. Where were the responsible adults???
I am with LOLLY JO.
Tomorrow praying for you and your medical team at ten thirty Pacific Time.
Nelson is six degrees hotter than Cairo Egypt!
Time for you Easterners to send some of this rain out west!
By the end of this week our fire hazard is going to be high I am sure! Tinder box time!
Stay safe everyone.
Glad hubby got you back home in time JO, before the downpour.

Back. Storm seems to have gone elsewhere.
Jo, got the dates/times on my calendar. Question: would you like me to send Jufie to make sure no one gets too rowdy?
lol No. I like rowdy at times lol
good evening to all.
its been a busy couple of days.
(I KNOW you are Shocked!)
I had my friend Amie over yesterday.
Jo..so your procedure is tomorrow...will be praying for a quick an effortless recovery
Shirleyy did you get your computer back yet?
we finally got some decent rain here tonight
I'm getting my new phone tomorrow night...i cracked mine a couple weeks ago
Headed in to watch some news
Glad you got decent rain, Paula.
Our rain was the same today. Lots
of power outages from the earlier storm. Some aren't estimated to return until the 13th Whoa!
I'll pop in before leaving tomorrow morning...... All is good...
Goodnight and God bless
Prayers a'Plenty, Jo
Now, tomorrow, Always
Thanks for the times of all the events
Good Night, Precious Pals
Prayers for Wellness, All Around, in all our Eagle Corners...for us, and our loved ones, families, friends
God Bless Us,
Every One xoxox
evening all...
will be praying for Jo tomorrow!
Hoda, that story is so sad. I can't even imagine.
This storm came VERY fast, although it was clearly coming and a watch was in effect and then the warning.
Details on exactly what happened have varied slightly from report to report. Maybe the adults with the kids were not aware of the storm coming? Who knows. As always happens, shock and anger will lead to blame. It's so very hard for anyone to understand God's plan when all anyone wants it answers, and for it to have not happened at all.
heading to bed. Goodnight and prayers for all!
Good evening,
I would like to hear Jo explain Jufie to her doctors.
SED, everyone.
Prayers and good thoughts for Jo.
SHIRLEY, great Hunter story. You are a fantastic Grandma. Blessed Be.
Good night.
God Bless us all
Prayers
good morning.
holding JO close today....light and love
slept well.
wondering HOW one WOULD explain the EVIL JUFIE to a doctor?????? anesthesia effects couldbe interesting....hmmm
STRONGHUNTER: love the HUNTER story. sounds very familiar around these parts!
everyone have a great day! Hugs and love to all.
Good morning to all ♥
Just killing some 'down time' here - so thankful for our blog. It is a beautiful day out there - squirrels and birds are flocking in to the
feeders.
Sandi - great to have some new landscape features. Hope they do exactly what you want done.
I'll see you all early evening hours
Thank you for having my back!
Love you all ♥

Later Gators!
Good morning.
I see Jo was here earlier. Wishing for her an easy procedure and quick return home.
Ah, Jufie has a magical ability to become invisible. No one will know he is watching over Jo unless they get to partying with the anesthesia.
Surrounding JO with Love Light and Prayers.
Steady as she goes to her Medical Team with Gratitude and Prayers.
Blessed Be JO. BLESSED BE.
Thinking of JO as she is now checked in to the hospital

Prayers continue.
Love and Lighr your way.
Meanwhile back at the ranch, I have had rats, at least 5 babies, eating at my bird feeders. I was willing to let it go for now until I saw an adult rat catch a sparrow and take it under the walkway. I have never heard of such a thing. Have you?
Well I went in at 10:00am and registered
Went back to get IV and give med history
Into Procedure room for initial prepping
All hooked up and I think I then went under....
BUT oxygen dropped too low for Dr to feel comfortable to continue
He talked with Hubby - will reschedule and will be using the breathing tube
Sometime next week I guess............
Disappointing but what can you do?
Perhaps 3rd time will be a charm..............
Love you all and we'll do this again one day next week...........
Jo
I do think that Jufie was looking out for me.......
