Good morning everyone. Surely hoping today is a good one for everyone.. From reading it looks like it started out good enough in the nest :-) Prayers for all. I plan to spend time at the dam today and tomorrow.
Denny and I are planning to go back to the local eagle nest tomorrow ( I won't go on a Saturday b/c it's still hunting season at the wildlife area, but there is no hunting in DE on Sundays). I think we'll go later in the day, like around 3:30 - 4pm. If the local eagles are like our two, they're in the nest more in the early morning and as it gets closer to dusk.
Lori, wish you could come with us and set up your tripod with your big lens!! Denny's next lens will be a wide angle, which will come in handy for work when he has to take photos of what's going on at clients' houses to send to them.
GOOD MORNING LORI AND SANDI... So glad you got to see a completed HP...now we know the season is ON IT'S WAY!
Is anyone following LILY THE BEAR? I just read that she had a cub last evening. I didn't know she was expecting! Something is wrong with the Den Cam and can't hear or see anything:(
Wanda, Thx! Would you believe that I just threw away my dragonwing begonias last Saturday??? They were still green and blooming until the cold snap we got around the 3rd and 4th of January!! Miracle-Gro is my friend! BTW, I don't follow any other online cams except this one. If I did, I would never get anything done!!
I'm off for a CPR/First Aid class. It's the final step in my process to become an office volunteer at the local women's shelter.
I don't see anyone in our nest right now.... I did see a nice elephant herd on the Idube Africam though! Three yearlings, a couple of young bulls, everyone playing in the mud. It was great!
Missed the activity in the nest this morning, but happy to hear things are happening as they should be!!
WANDA - Sorry to hear you didn't have Family Friday yesterday. I know how much you look forward to Fridays and how your family fills your heart with joy!! More news on Gene sure would be nice, too. Haven't you waited long enough for a definitive answer?? Praying the news will be good.
How wonderful to hear NICOLE so thankful and so at peace in her heart for the first time in days. She has been through so much. She most definitely felt the love, prayers and positive energy last night. She needed to see the Hand of God touch ISAAC, and she did.
SANDI - Thanks for the complete prayer list. We do have a lot of concerns going on right now. But we know the Master Healer can handle it!
Praying your Mom responds quickly and miraculously to those antibiotics and rids her lungs of the fluid in the coming days. I can understand her fear of going back in the hospital, but pneumonia is dangerous, too.
Was listening to Lily and believe I heard the distinct hum of a nursing baby bear following a few tiny squeals. She was thought to be due around the 20th. Early.
Rainy and foggy here this morning.
Will procrastinate as long as possible then begin to organize my notes for next week. For several reasons, I truly do not want to return and moving toward the decision to leave the psyc. dept and remain only with the police program.
Missed our royal couple but their activities are promising. Derek and Savannah are tending their three egglets. Pot Plant baby is practicing and I will miss it.
So happy to read that Shirley also heard the baby bear. Congratulations to Lily. Jewel will be next and interesting as she has her two yearlings denned with her.
Good Morning to all ♥ Judy you really get excited over bird HP - lol Hopefully the video will be published soon for all of us to see.
Sandi - thank you for the list of prayer people! Pray the antibiotics clear up your Mom's lungs.
Praying for little Isaac and loved Nicole's remarks.
This household is getting back to normal - Michael just fixed his own scrambled eggs and he is feeling pretty darn well. He starts speech therapy on the 18th.
Hi Shirley, I'm here. Didn't hear Belle calling out (I was upstairs) but saw her in the nest as I walked past the computer. Thanks for the commentary of what you were hearing!
Trying to play Scrabble. Just found that "jailbait" is a good word. Would be great if I had the word "bait" to stick on the first part. Oh, well. Maybe later.
Okay, I have the bear den up as well as the eagle nest. I think I heard bear sounds--nursing sounds. The den sounds are coming and going. Hard to keep up with everything.
If we're hearing Belle and Shep answering one another, and I agree they are both calling out, then Shep has really grown into his voice this year! remember how squeaky it was last nesting season? I'm hearing 2 big eagle voices off and on.
Hi, Lori. Glad you got that flu shot. I wish Kathryn and Will would get theirs. Rus has already had the flu. Guess he is safe for the rest of this season.
They are saying we are in an epidemic. I've had the flu more than once even after getting a shot, but am doing what I can to be safe.
Written 16 minutes ago I am happy to report that Isaac is having a great day so far. He has not vomited since his feeds were restated. He is at a little over half of his hourly rate on continuous feeds and being supplemented with IV fluids. We are both feeling much better since we got a surprise visit from one of our most favorite people. Jenny Craigie Riffe, you are one rotten, but awesome, woman!!! Blessed beyond measure :-)
Took all 4 dogs to the beach - can you say FIASCO????? The 2 granddogs hated the sand and kept running away trying to get back to the car. Bandit had a great time running around - but I couldn't get him back on-leash b/c he couldn't hear me calling to him! Bella was the only dog to stay close.
I'm still hearing an eagle calling nearby.
Ravens game just started and Denver is already up by 7pts - GEEZ!!! Could be a long game!
its been a busy 24 hours. i did a wally world run and bought a new play pen/sleep device for miss lorelei yesterday...and a few more things that i determined that i needed.
i picked her up...it was hard driving away....knowing my older grandchildren were upset because i didn't go in and hug on them, and taking the baby away (even just for overnight) from chelsea.....
good news: chelsea is fine. so she is here now. i had a good night with miss lorelei. she is such a good baby and on a good schedule.
they will be staying with us for a few days til jack's fever subsides. amelia is not yet showing signs of the flu. hoping she stays that way.
i haven't gotten a lot done around here today. but i'm okay with that. sometimes i'm okay with that.
sounds like everyone is busy today.
when i got up @ 6 this morning, it was 67 degrees outside. it feels like april. however, winter is supposed to return tomorrow i think.
will check in later.....hugs and have a great afternoon!
Good evening. Eagle survey says - Well, we saw 7 eagles are our spot, 2 of which some say were repeats but I still count 7. One adult, two 4-years, two 2-years was the official count. Mattie, Justin and I headed to Dairy Queen to join everyone else and Mattie saw one flying so I pulled over and it was a beautiful adult bald eagle. BEAUTIFUL SIGHT! It was great spending the day with WV sUSAn!!!
I had to hide the pic of Angie accident on my time line although nothing was discussed about the accident on comments just pic She got in contact with a lawyer I told her to wait till she see what the insureance co says but she went and called In Fl you have 14 days to react to accident I told her she had already been to the hospital but you know kids So it is hidden on timeline
Kathryn is taking Hunter and friends to a movie. She just posted this: listening to a 12 yr old boy conversation.... they are discussing if you can go faster and further while swimming if you fart a lot...
Swimming requires movement and coordinated breathing. Farting requires holding ones breath at the most opportune moment in order to get the most powerful of farts. But even the most powerful of farts isn't enough to make you go faster than the steady as she goes rhythmic movement through the water.
I also loved her answer to cute and that was a big thud on the camera housing I was hoping someone would jump in the nest I was on facebook when the cam shook so I am back here now
Thanks for the eagle reports and pleased there was HP...all is well at the nest.
Glad ANGIE is OK today JUDYE a second car contact would have shattered my nerves! Glad they are both alright.
KATHRYN is changing jobs? I read she was having issues but did not think they were to this point. I hope she is comfortable with the change.
SANDI very good prayer list you posted earlier...
The sun came out today. People in Nelson were singing whistling and dancing in the streets with free hugs all around!!! Crazy town it is but so joyful when the sun comes out. BEAUTIFUL simply BEAUTIFUL. I went to the pool at 8:00 and had a wonderful Aqua Fit class.young instructors and they were very pleasant and clear in the way they instructed. Went to the whirl pool afterwards and then a steam sauna was available but I did not use it. There is also a dry sauna...lots of equipment in the exercise room and I could have returned in the afternoon for another hour or so of exercise but I wanted to be outside where the sun was...Went for coffee with the Dragon Ladies and it was fun to simply chat and laugh. I am thinking of buying a year's pass as it is 365 dollars. That makes it a dollar a day...can not believe how reasonable it is and the facilities are super and so I am considering it after I finish this class in March...
You all are talking of weather in the 60's pretty funny to me. We are sitting at 25 and headed down to 12 tonight. It was pleasant to walk in it though because the sun was out and I can not believe the effect of the sun on Nelsonites...Enjoy your 60's weather.
Janet, any chance of severe weather in your parts tonight with the strong cold front moving in?
Hoda, I'm afraid many of US are in for very cold temps over the next few days. I can totally relate to the dancing in the sunshine! We had some hazy sun and warm temps here to day, and it was AWESOME especially for Steve!
I just watched this video and thought it interesting didn't know if you wanted to see it It is the same people that did the eagle attacking the golden eagle on the carcuss that the was set up with a camera Its about the lead bullets hunters use and how the lead goes scatters in the body I though interesting
I hope you all stay warm if colder temperatures arrive.
I will take the sun and for the next few days it is forcasted to be cold and sunny...no complaints here Till Thursday of this coming week with possible snow only on Monday...I can live with that...
Even though I am afraid what JUDIE will do with this go to my FB page and find out your real Canadian Name...I happen to be TINY MOUNTIE!!! Not a word out of you JUDIE!!! LOL!!! I will sic them on you if you do!!!LOL!!!
The news from Norfolk tears me apart every time I see any info. With all the increased activity this pair is doing trying to rebuild and rebuild there has to be an increase in flying over the airport. I never want to read of a down plane or another struck bird but I FEAR in bigtime. They are working and thus eating and fishing much more than in a normal nesting season. CRUEL IDIOTIC and IN HUMANE!!! nuff said.
Attended Mass this evening. Got home and game was tied up so we got to watch it in OT - nail biter for sure. Daughter and family are napping now in order to go to airport to welcome home the Ravens..... I love purple but I wouldn't go that far...
I didn't read the whole way back on the blog - Praying that all is well. I love us ♥
JUDIE you were supposed to be asleep!!! Between you and SHAR tonight you are going to give me a heart attack!!! SHAR is on green trees and monutnain sides and now you were not supposed to see this post you said goodnight already!!! MY OH MY who is a girl to trust!!!???LOL
Oh no you don't Ms Hoda. You're not going to find out I am not as young as I pretend. My Real Canadian name is Mrs. Dudley DoRight: ♪♫HERE I COME TO SAVE THE DAY. MRS DORIGHT ON HER WAY♪♫ When necessary, my sidekick is Rin Tin Tin.
Hi all! We be home! Went to Denton, went to two basketball games. Both boys won their games. After lunch we went to the old house. Laurel and I unloaded the attic, Jack took down some things, we loaded both cars and took them to the new house. Went back, loaded both cars again and Laurel did some cleaning.
Back at the house Jack mounted some things on the walls, I unpacked boxes and fixed hamburgers to grill.
Always work to do there. Will be so glad when they are settled.
Forgot to say how excited I am about the birth of the cubs. Watched the video of the birth on utube. They were very surprised that the arrival was so early. I do not think that they think Jewel is pregnant. She had the cubs with her all season, didn't she? Lily only got pregnant when she went off and left Hope.
While my one daughter is listening to discussions of swimming while farting by 12-year-old boys, my other daughter is in Atlantic City. She posted this: "My life is now complete, I have been tossed in the air by a cowboy.."
Oh, the wonders of Facebook. I keep up with what my daughters are doing.
This is a cowboy in Atlantic City, NJ. Wonder what Lolly would think of that kind of cowboy? Is this a displaced real cowboy or is this a fake cowboy? How many cowboys are there in New Jersey? How many cows are there in New Jersey?

Well I hate to leave but I must go to work
YAY, HP!!!!
Was that SHEP who poofed?
NOPE, it was BELLE, SHEP still in the nest
SHEP continues biting down the twig to smaller sizes and placing them. What a nestorator!
Belle is back with some flugg
Lori, I like that - SHEP, THE NESTORATOR!!
They sure look like they're working in earnest this morning to get the place ready!!
SANDI, really good to see them working like this!
Have a great time at the Dam, GLO!
SANDI, you're so lucky to have a real eagle nest so close.
Lori, wish you could come with us and set up your tripod with your big lens!! Denny's next lens will be a wide angle, which will come in handy for work when he has to take photos of what's going on at clients' houses to send to them.
We'll have to do that sometime when all this craziness in my family is past! That would be fun!
Can't believe they've been in the nest so long and working so hard at cleaning it up.
AND the HP makes it a really great morning in the Royal Palace!
Lori, you're on - we've got plenty of room for fellow dog lovers and eagle lovers!!
Thanks, SANDI! We'll do it!
Looks like just one eagle in the nest right now...can't see the head of the one that remains.
Hopefully, it's just a flugg run!
Think it's Belle that remains doing her statue, or yoga, for the morning. Very still.
Lori, I would be inclined to agree that it's Belle. Shep never stays still for this long unless he's egg sitting! =)
Shep returns!
WOW - both are back in the nest now.
He brought a stick with him.
SANDI, I thought the same thing about SHEP not being able to sit still! LOL
POOF Belle
Now just Shep in the nest.
And back to 2!!!
Belle is back with her own twig
Some serious nest time this morning! They've been in and out of the nest for over an hour and a half!
GOOD MORNING LORI AND SANDI...
So glad you got to see a completed HP...now we know the season is ON IT'S WAY!
Is anyone following LILY THE BEAR?
I just read that she had a cub last evening. I didn't know she was expecting! Something is wrong with the Den Cam and can't hear or see anything:(
Good morning, WANDA...
I'm off to get ready to go get a flu shot. Don't want to be in a hospital with my Dad all week and get sick!
And back to only 1 - Belle, i think is still in the nest.
Try to keep out of CROWDS, Lori. News last night says the flu is considered an EPIDEMIC now!
SANDI...I was just looking at some of your flowers on your blog (I hadn't seen some of them) they are beautiful and you must have a VERY green thumb:)
Poof Belle! MT nest!
Lily Cam
It does not say she has given birth yet, but the time is near.

Sandi, prayers for your mom.
Have a great Sat!
SEW.! Figure that one! Lol.
Sweet Eagle Watching!
Wishing everyone a great day today!!

I heard a baby bear nursing!
Good morning.

So happy to read that Shirley also heard the baby bear. Congratulations to Lily. Jewel will be next and interesting as she has her two yearlings denned with her.
Good morning, Judie. I saw the note about the baby being due the 20th, but I am sure I heard nursing sounds. I also heard some squeals.
Eagle alert! Calling from nest! I think Belle.
More calls.
Lots of calls!
Something is happening!
Hard to tell with the twirling arrow popping on.
I only have still cam and can tell the eagle is calling
Hi, Margy!
Good Morning to all ♥
Judy you really get excited over bird HP - lol Hopefully the video will be published soon for all of us to see.
Sandi - thank you for the list of prayer
people! Pray the antibiotics clear up your Mom's lungs.
Praying for little Isaac and loved Nicole's remarks.
This household is getting back to normal - Michael just fixed his own scrambled eggs and he is feeling pretty darn well. He starts speech therapy on the 18th.
On edge of nest. I can't see her head right now.
Hi, Jo.
More calls.
Poof Belle, more calls. Something is going on.
Wondering if there is an intruder.
Odd know or something on the branch at 10:00. Almost looks like a bird, but it isn't.
Quiet now.
That is supposed to be "odd knot." More calls.
Not so frantic. Almost like she is summoning Shep or something now.
Calls.
Sounds like a plan, Judie. Just teaching the police. I hope you can do that.
Kathryn's job change plans are progressing. More to come on that one.
She has been at the same job for 19 years.
Hearing more bird calls.
Feeling lonely here.
Belle in nest.
Digging in cup.
Shirley
loving seeing the multiple pics of the twins when you post
we are really really busy at work
Hi Shirley, I'm here. Didn't hear Belle calling out (I was upstairs) but saw her in the nest as I walked past the computer. Thanks for the commentary of what you were hearing!
Calling again. Where are you Shep?
Belle just called out again but appears calm.
Trying to play Scrabble. Just found that "jailbait" is a good word. Would be great if I had the word "bait" to stick on the first part. Oh, well. Maybe later.
More eagle calls. She wants Shep.
Yeah, she seems calm. Was agitated earlier.
I am not sure she is the only one calling. Hard to tell.
Definitely another eagle calling. She's answering.
Okay, I have the bear den up as well as the eagle nest. I think I heard bear sounds--nursing sounds. The den sounds are coming and going. Hard to keep up with everything.
More eagle calls.
Busy day in the wilds.
Calls--Not Belle. She is still in the nest.
I'm here watching....... Didn't have my speakers on Duhhhhhhhh
If we're hearing Belle and Shep answering one another, and I agree they are both calling out, then Shep has really grown into his voice this year! remember how squeaky it was last nesting season? I'm hearing 2 big eagle voices off and on.
Ya know, I'm not sure Belle is the eagle in the nest - can't see the head from the front. Maybe Belle is in the tree and this is Shep in the nest.
thats shep saw the spot
Sometimes I think I glimpse a spot, other times no. I've never been able to see the inverted V thing that others talk about.
Dex and I are off to the dam once I finish this snack
Yup, this is Shep in the nest.
Okay, I am seeing a spot on the head. I think it is Shep I have been watching.
Have a great day at the dam, Glo!! I'm headed to the beach with 4 dogs soon. We won't see any eagles but we'll still have fun!
Shep's spot comes and goes with the light ♥
Sunshine out there!
I see others have spotted the spot as well.
He is now pulling on large sticks in the nest.
Lots of bear nursing and squealing.
Just heard what sounded like a gunshot on the cam. have the speakers turned up.
Didn't hear that, Sandi.
Was concentrating on a Scrabble play.
Must go for food and to check out what Kathryn and Hunter are doing.
Eagles are calling.
Did Shep just see something?
Just back from getting my flu shot and my car washed. So glad to see SHEP is back again!
Hello, SANDI & SHIRLEY, GLO & JO!
Hi, Lori. Glad you got that flu shot. I wish Kathryn and Will would get theirs. Rus has already had the flu. Guess he is safe for the rest of this season.
They are saying we are in an epidemic. I've had the flu more than once even after getting a shot, but am doing what I can to be safe.

Heard some calls a few minutes ago. Kathryn was using the computer to look up movie times for this afternoon.
Lily and her newborn(s)
Lots of baby bear squeals.
Sounds like there could be more than one baby. I hear squeals at the same time I hear nursing sounds.
Eagle calls!
What a pretty day out...have the doors open...cleaning and decluttering the bedroom today.
Had to come down and let Nick in...practically had to give him a bath...he was all muddy from running circles in the backyard :)

Eagle calls nearby.
A post from Nicole about Baby Isaac:
A surprise visit!!
Written 16 minutes ago
I am happy to report that Isaac is having a great day so far.
Best Wishes for a Super Saturday

Kathryn is taking Hunter and friends to a movie. She just posted this: listening to a 12 yr old boy conversation.... they are discussing if you can go faster and further while swimming if you fart a lot...
So I put the question to you all ...
21-21 at halftime!! Go Ravens!!

Lynne, great "middle school science teacher" sounding answer to Hunter & friends' question! =)
I also loved her answer to cute
and that was a big thud on the camera housing I was hoping someone would jump in the nest I was on facebook when the cam shook so I am back here now
Its 71° out now Was such a nice day

I will take the sun and for the next few days it is forcasted to be cold and sunny...no complaints here Till Thursday of this coming week with possible snow only on Monday...I can live with that...
Hoping the Ravens win or have won.
So happy to know Isaac had a good day.
Jet-propelled swimming. Interesting concept, Shirley.
Hoping for an update on Lily. Cannot be sure of sounds as there seems to be a loud humming noise but not a nursing humming noise.
GO RAVENS!!!!!!
Going to be an early night for me. Sandperson has already crept to the end of the hallway. Stuuupid sandperson thinks I'm oblivious.
Night light is on. Sandperson soon on the way. Restful sleep for all.
Even though I am afraid what JUDIE will do with this go to my FB page and find out your real Canadian Name...I happen to be TINY MOUNTIE!!!
Not a word out of you JUDIE!!! LOL!!! I will sic them on you if you do!!!LOL!!!
Oh good I see JUDIE already went to bed so she might miss the previous post!!!
Tiny Mountie!!!
OMG....this game.....
Here is a short video of Norfolk and the first walk in the park about the nest being removed three times now EAGLE ON The eagle alliance from facebook Norfolk on the news
CRUEL IDIOTIC and IN HUMANE!!! nuff said.
WAY TO GO RAVENS!!! What a game!!!
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!
Did the RAVENS win, SANDI?
Lori, they won by an almost 50 yard field goal in overtime!!!
Put a new post on Paula's Prints....
WAY TO GO RAVENS!!
Congrats, Ravens!
GLO that was my concern to begin with when they had the idiotic idea to bring the nest down...
It's lovely, Paula...
and Congratulations, Ravens...
sorry I missed the game and especially seeing that field goal!
New pictures also on Caringbridge for Miracle Michael...
I've heard of Hail Mary passes, that musta been a Hail Mary Field Goal !

Attended Mass this evening. Got home and game was tied up so we got to watch it in OT - nail biter for sure. Daughter and family are napping now in order to go to airport to welcome home the Ravens..... I love purple but I wouldn't go that far...

Hi all!
I just fell asleep in the middle of that last post. Temp did drop today. Presently 38 and we have had a wee bit of rain.
Going to say good night now. Sounds like Michael and Isaac had good days. yea!
Night all! SED!!!!
Once again...night all!
Good grief, has Judie gone off the deep end?
Has Wanda's "O" gone mad and taken over her posts?
Hmm, the Sandperson is in collaboration with Judie, Hoda. You just thought Judie was asleep.
See you tomorrow. Rest well, my friends. Look out for that Sandperson.
Remember those Sand People on Star Wars. You just don't know.
Split time is here.
Can't resist. Have to go over the split.
Good morning my fine eagle momsters and dadsters.
Since we have gotten our live feed back I feel our spiritual connection is even stronger. What gifts these eagles give to use.
