Lolly: Too funny! When James would spend the night, as a baby, he would be awake quite early and say "It's the Morning, It's the Day." Odd when I came the puter was down and cable power due to storm but when I turned on my TV I have a skinny line going down the side of it about two inches in its a redish blueish line about 1/8th and now the line is gone HMMM I hope the TV doesn't decided to take a dumb thats all I need more expenses anyone have a clue on the line going down and why it went away HMMMM ok just wanted to ask I will be back as soon as the pills motrin kick in
Thanks, PAULA! Even reading the word "liver" makes me want to retch! On that note, I'm off to watch House and hopefully Alcatraz without falling asleep. Goodnight eagle friends! See you in the AM!
PAULA, LYNN suggested organ foods and I had the same reaction as SANDI just did!!!LOL!!! When I was younger I liked liver but not anymore...go figure...yeast iron tablet and lamb so far today and I didhave molasses too...I have done my duty towards my iron level today...in six months I will learn if it is working but I do feel better...MTBRT.THANKS PAULA.
I take iron in pill form. LOL! Twice a day and my levels are back up! I had a terrible scare when she told me that if I had to have surgery I would need a transfusion. Now I take my tablets!
good evening all. i see everyone has been quite chatty today! lots going on.....
i was home today; livvy was home ill. took her to the dr.... ear infection. hopefully she will return to school tomorrow therefore i can return to work. i did go by her school and get her social studies book so we could prepare for her test tomorrow...
hopefully everyone has had a great day. i spent the day running a few errands....tending the young 'en, helping her to study and catching up on some housework from weekend company. on another note; my oldest has her downstairs unpacked and my granddaughter had a great day at her new school! :)

Evening all! Well, I see there was more interesting things going on at the nest today. Glad all seems to be well!
Haven't read back much...so many posts!! But very nice to see some new "old faces" back for CelEGGbrations! Maria, Christine, Irene, BEagle, and sorry if I've forgotten anyone but I truly have only skimmed...
I have been watching a fascinating event here....I mentioned a while back that I have a tiny common house spider living in my kitchen who has managed to capture and feast on stinkbugs twice...which is why I have named her Charlotte and allowed her to stay! This evening another SB landed in her web. Watching her "deal" with the SB, about 4 times her size, had been amazing!
I LOVE LIVER fried crips and with lots of onions and butter but it has to be calf liver WinnDixie use to have a brand TrueBeef calves liver but I haven't found it in years it was really thin liver I guess I love it because my mom made it that way and both my kids love it tooo
I think we have had the liver discussion before. I do not cook it but I love liver and onions. If I am ever (which is practically never) in a cafeteria that serves it, I go for it! Yum!
oh yes we have stinkbugs, even now. In the house. We killed close to 2000 at the end of summer. every day there were HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS of them all over the window and everywhere. That time of year they look to hibernate. This house is obviously the place to do so! The ones in the house now have been here, hidden within the walls, and come out when it warmer. Since they are not "supposed" to be awake now, the die off, as there is no food source in the house. They are drawn to light/light fixtures. We have been finding many dead ones, and at least 5-10 a day alive. Poor Steve crashed on one in bed the other night. I hate them.
I think I have asked this before, but is anyone using Firefox having a typing lag issue? It's so bad I can't really even use FF anymore! I type, and it's like I never knew how to type or spell! Words run together, spaces aren't where they are supposed to be....UGH. I don't like IE either, but at least I can TYPE! I have researched and followed some steps that have helped others, but to no avail.
I try to type in passwords and they don't work unless I do one character at a time slowly....it's getting hung up all the time, won't refresh, tells me my Gmail isn't connected to the internet....UGH! NOT the computer...everything goes along perfectly in IE.
It's updated Paula. And if it was my virus protection, I would think it would affect IE as well, but IE is working just fine. I tried disabling add ons and restarting in FF Safe Mode, but that didn't work either.

I guess Belle can't sleep huh Ok off to finsih the news I just forgot to tell you the video are on now
SHARON the dress you have choose it can be shorten if you wanted you could wear it long at Christmas parties or New Years I think I would definitely reuse it I did the dress I got for my daughters wedding I wore it at other weddings and that dress could be worn on other occasions I think JMHO

you can bet I wore them more than once ☺ wore 'em slam out
Had to check cam before hitting the hay. Belle's head is up a little. Would LUV to capture an eggroll in the moonlight!
Lynne! Charlotte, huh? I would let her stay if she did such a good job! Will watch nest awhile, then time to say Pleasant Feather Dreams ;>) Prayers for Good Health--Tori, Lynn, Nila, Fred and all in need ☺
I am back from a very good yoga practice...The moon oh how so very perfect and it is supposed to be full tomorrow not tonight??? WOW you could have fooled me...
Belle is so clear and I tell myself to enjoy it because to see her this clearly in the evening we will have to wait another month...and hope for clear skies.
is hard to believe, Hoda, but it "goes full" at 4:54 pm Eastern Standard time on Tuesday... "earlier in your time zone" but we won't see it here until probably right after or around sunset.... But I agree with you: Call It Full Tonight !
It was a very good practice MARGY Thank you...tomorrow night and Thursday night I also have yoga in the evening...it is exploring of a new studio, but with a teacher I have learnt from before...good expanding of horizons...
I'll try to do better at observing the speed limit Tuesday, Precious Pals...I often say that and seldom follow through :(
I'll be at work, that holds it down, and waaaaah I have no sound at the work computer, but the screen is bigger.... I'll be watching what others are saying...
lol I always had a wooden egg on a handle! Good old memories.
Good night friends & Bless All of you & your loved ones. Prayers for all those who are healing and for all our individual needs Hugs to all of you ♥♥♥♥♥♥
I have to google wooden egg on a handle...I have several wooden eggs that I put herbal essence on and then tuck in my closet and storage areas.I have not seen a wooden egg with a handle...sounds practical.
the nest does look great in the moonlight. It is up to you, Wanda, when the moon is gone you are going to have to go and provide the light. Belle is stirring right now. Egg roll I think. She has her head down but not letting anyone see.
Agreed that it was nice to see some of our OLD friends join in with our celebration, today:)
Anxious to see if Shep will be earlier at relieving Belle. I don't feel like calling him ROYALITY yet, either...but if he is a good provider for the chicks, I think he may have earned that title!
PAULA, I like your idea of settling who will get the ICE BAG...Gene's hand on the ice pack while it is on my knee!;)
There was talk earlier about Liver and the iron that it contains. Was it Hoda who needs extra iron? I missed that conversation. I was recently told I am deficient in vitamin D...taking 4,000 units a day now. Not enough sun, I guess.
DANA WV...I know I told you I would behave myself at GG's, but, I just didn't realize how much harm I was doing until it was too late. Now I know...not even thinking of going to Soup Kitchen tomorrow! Swelling is going down and I don't feel all the pressure that was making me uncomfortable.
SHARON...love the dress that you are considering for the MAIN EVENT, I think it will look lovely on you. Love that sassy side gathering. It is a lot of money, but...finding a Mother's dress can drive you crazy if you keep thinking, "I will only wear this once", etc, etc.
KAY...don't know what your MRI is for tomorrow, but praying that it shows nothing of concern and that your PT will work it's magic in time~
LYNN, hope a good night's rest will have you feeling better.
MARGY...hope you were able to talk to your landlord about the racket above you...ridiculous!
LORI & KATE...all the wonderful items that you donated to our Clothes Closet & Boutique are laid out and hung up for our needy folks tomorrow evening. So many wonderful things!♥♥
Way past my bedtime (glad my therapist doesn't ask how much sleep I got).
Prayers for all those that need them and for those that don't think their problem or illness is bad enough to ask for prayers b/c other are worse off than them. You need prayer too and God see that you are there taking care of thes people too Thank You.
Have been lurking a bit today, but not much. Had a lot of transcription to do, and am nearly finished with it now. Can hopefully get the last couple of reports done in the morning, and mail them all back to the doctor.
So good to see Shep sharing the incubation duties with Belle. Hope he brings her breakfast in the morning.
Lynn, sorry you were feeling puny! Hope you sleep particularly well tonight, and wake up feeling like a new woman! Love you! ((HUGS))!! Healing prayers for you!
Margy, when I took Emma out tonight to go potty, the moon popped out from behind some cloud cover, and it was GORGEOUS! It sure did look full--you could've fooled me, too! Can't see any stars or planets tonight. Too many clouds. It's supposed to start raining here late tonight, and continue into tomorrow. My patio plants will be thrilled! So will I!
Am anxious for morning to get here. Went to Best Buy today, and they scheduled their guys to come out some time tomorrow and set up our new TV. The guy said they would take the old defunct TV away too, free of charge. They'll call in the morning to give me an approximate time when they'll show up. Sure will be nice to have TV Land back again. (Just in time for NCIS, but it's probably gonna be a rerun.) Got to thinking today--I was 4 years old before we got our first TV set! Used to love watching Kukla, Fran, and Ollie.
Well, going to call it a night. Have said prayers for everyone, especially those who are under the weather or having to heal. Prayers for all creatures, too. Making sure the porch light is on. Enabling both security systems. Sleep well, everyone. God bless and goodnight. Love all of you! :o] --P.S. Forgot to mention, Sharon, that I LOVE the dress! You will look beautiful in it!
Lynne2 and Paula-I use Firefox for the cam and blog, but use Internet Explorer for FB because for me, it seems to run the games better. I have updated, and it runs fine for me.
On the stinkbugs. I am finding them, but we definitely had less this year than in previous years. I had one crawling on the door the other day and I was like oh, what are you doing here? Other than that though I really have seen very few. Previous years they were in my curtains in the winter and everywhere they could hide.
Boy, lots of new screen names yesterday, folks that others know but I don't! Ann egg sure brings lots of company, doesn't it!! Hoping that LYNN feels better today and that KAY gets her pain under control quickly. HODA is healing - good! JO, I couldn't stay awake for Alcatraz, so I'll be watching it another night. MARGY wore bib overalls to get married? They seem to be her trademark, yes? I am out of my building at another all day special ed. meeting, so I won't be able to do any keeping up at work, which will mean 400 comments to read when I get home this evening - yikes! My kids were so happy to see an eagle on the nest yesterday morning when they arrived - now they want an eaglet. Forget 35 days of waiting!
Happy 100th day of school DMO, that means about 80 to go right, or are your school years shorter than public schools? My cam just froze, I'll take that as a signal to get up and get ready for the day! Later eagle friends!
When I refreshed the cam, Belle was up and off the egg, standing on the rails at 11 and making some little noises. Now settled back down with her head tucked- OK I AM going!
Good morning girls. I saw Belle stretching her legs a couple minutes a go. Thanks for the weather, Lori, the 50s will be nice weather for the Sycamore Palace.
Sandi, most of the unfamiliar names you saw yesterday were familiar during last year's nest drama, and they're checking in again now that we're in full egg mode. Nice people. ♥
Sandi, I follow the nest and Momsters via email all through the year. Not much of a blogger usually and follow various nests and dens all the time. The Shepherdstown eagles were my "first" (3-4 years ago)so when it is egg and eaglet time, I jump in on the blog so I can share the experience on a real time basis. This is a great bunch of folks over here.
5500 people were killed last year while being distracted Phone calling or texting just on the news right now a new app for phone will not let you use it if you are going more than 15mph
Morning SUSAN and JUDY! Missed the switch but happy to hear that Shep is manning up - he's going to be just fine, I think! SUSAN, I am coming in April! =) Off to my meeting - give me LOTS to read when I get home this afternoon ladies (I suspect you all will have NO trouble doing that!!)
magpie: never have eaten beef tongue nor do i want to...but i will tell you want what mom used to eat and it just used to wig me out: brains. judy, do you remember? ewwwwwwwwwww just the LOOK of it.....
i am all about trying new foods, but there are some things i would have to be starving and/or not know what they are and those two things are in that category for me!
looks like a "normal" day around here, no fever for the young en'...so back to school for her and work for me. it is a chilly morning here, 30....smells good and feels crisp as you walk out! nice frost too. i've seen daffodils blooming, although mine aren't YET.....but soon i think.
i just tuned in to see shep settle on the nest and then snuggle down on their egg! i used some of the videos, like laying the egg and such as a reward for olivia's study efforts yesterday. she so hates social studies and we spent the better part of 3 hours, off and on studying and discussing this chapter that she has a test over today. she was not prepared at all. i have emailed the teacher/ again/ and asked for some assistance...i e. study sheets coming home....etc. every other grade is in the 80's and 90's but at this moment she is failing social studies!!!!!! yikes. the dates really trip her up. and its just memorization, i know this, so we used some tricks i used to use. i hated memorizing dates as well.....crossing fingers that she passes this test!!!!!!
i hope everyone has a great day. i will tune in this afternoon to see how belle and shep are doing and how everyone else is doing as well. til then, have a wonderful and safe day! (smiles for all!)
Before you speak, ask yourself, is it kind, is it necessary, is it true, does it improve on the silence? - Sai Baba
Great late-night report from Wanda...know everyone will miss her tonight at Soup Kitchen, but see there's a razzle-dazzle array from Lori and Kate for the Clothes Closet ☺
WVGALDana so glad you watched the switch I love it I am apply music to it also and that takes time for youtube to do it I have two maniac cats running back and forth back and forth soo funny
Off to school. Will check in when possible. Going to be a crazy day in kindergarten. I hope it lives up to the kids expectations. There will still be work!
Morning all. Trying to read back and watch but this old laptop says no. Hope to get the new computer today. then I'll be ready for the hatching in 33 days..
BTW, I have made beef tongue. It is very popular in Mexican cooking. You just have to "get over" what it is.
Today is Angies Bday so I won't be home right after work I want to run to her house and give her her card my present just giving money that way she can get what she wants She and her fam spent the past couple of days at Sea World Jordyn has a ear appt for another hearing test this am then she will take her to school and spend the rest of the day as a Me day said she will probably get caught up with her shows she has dvrd I think she has 3weeks of Greys and PP to watch and may even take a nap she said
the music finally got applied to the video odd that sometimes its fast and sometimes its not Ok I am getting finished getting ready for work was hoping to have a new thread before I left for work
Must get to work, Ladies. Keep an eye out and I'll be watching on the still cam and emailing.
Everybody have a great day at the Palace and I'll catch ya on the flip. Hugs to all and can't wait to put faces to names of those I haven't met when we get together in April.
Lori I have a question: do you dance around the studio when some of the songs are playing? You should see me trying to dance and drive ♪ ♫ Loved the song about Firework... don't know the name, but loved the message
guess I better earn my pay... hope our I-T guy shows up today, whose wife works at NCTC DayCare...so he can FINALLY see Eagles in the nest
ttfn xoxo
(( Hugs♥ )) on your day
Kay: Best wishes with the MRI Wanda - no Rockettes kicks...not quite yet Lynn Hope this morning is better than last night for you... and to any and all with medical things going..hope it all goes well, better, best
Good morning everybody. Saw Belle fly in and Shep fly out. I so love seeing our eagles all the time.
I went to visit Nila last night for about 1-1/2 hours. What a wonderful visit. She was sitting up on the side of the bed crocheting. She goes to the bathroom by herself now, using a walker. GOD IS SO GOOD ALL THE TIME. For sure, every day is such a gift.
And I have arrived. Practically 10 hrs of solid sleep. I am going to have a good day. I AM going to have a good day. I am going to have a GOOD day. If only saying so will make it so!!!!
Margy, I still have my grandma's darning egg; Mom still has her own! I have used it before.
LIVER---my Dadd HATED liver, too. The first time he was invited to dinner by Grams and Pop, she made liver and onions and mashed pots. Daddy cut his liver into tiny pieces and wrapped it in his potatoes and swallowed it whole. That was when my Mom knew he loved her!!!! Lolly-if YOU like liver and don't cook it, is it because Jack doesn't like it? I hate it, but I cooked it for the mr. who did love it.
Glad Livvy is feeling better, Janet. My grand girls always seemed to struggle with social studies, too. Weird, huh? I always thought it to be one of easiest subjects!
sUSAn....you can email your comments to the blog?? Cool! Is that what you were doing yesterday or did you have th eday off?? I was SO surprised that you were with us all day, since I knew you couldn't blog at work.
Lots of flugg-arrangement. Egg is hidden....maybe Belle is going to take a break.

I don't think Shep has really found his "voice" yet...it will all come in time, I suppose.
Belle looks like she is dozing off, but doesn't have her head tucked yet.

You can barely see her move. Wow, I know I can't sit that still!
I take iron in pill form. LOL! Twice a day and my levels are back up! I had a terrible scare when she told me that if I had to have surgery I would need a transfusion. Now I take my tablets!
Here's an interesting report on iron-rich foods.
You will have to copy and paste it to your browser though.
http://www.redcrossblood.org/learn-about-blood/health-and-wellness/iron-rich-foods
The article says you will absorb more iron from animal tissue than plants (2 to 10%)
That's interesting.
So we know that eagles get plenty of iron.
Animal tissue-You absorb 30%
Plants-You absorb 2-10%
Sandi and Hoda - I HATE LIVER!!
Nice avatar BEagle...
take it that's from today...
Going to say an early good night.
Thanks for the kind note, Margy. And for the nice letter and bookmark you sent Hunter awhile back.
We keep hoping that things will settle down here. Meanwhile, we are just hanging in there.
I see that Belle has her head under her wing now. Sleeping peacefully.
I will see you tomorrow.
You're welcome and
Good Night, Shirley...
We love you...

Hi Magpie!
That picture with the sniping tool was taken yesterday between 5:30 and 5:34. :)
Made my day!
Fried chicken livers! Yummmmy
okay BEagle, it's nice...great capture, of the Eagle...
was afraid to go out on this limb:
Nothing quite like fresh venison liver, pan fried just right with onions...
I better disappear now...
maybe the Captain will come on and defend me ☺

Belle's tucked in.
I will go do the same!
I HATE liver, too!
Not feeling well, so I'm going to bed. See you all tomorrow. Prayers for all needs.
I think liver is something you either love or hate. I've never met anyone with an inbetween opinion.
Anywhooooo ~~~ signing off for tonight. will check in tomorrow!
Good night!

Lynne2, have you updated it recently? I use it for FB, works pretty good.
I would also run a malware, virus scan...or if you have virus protection running, it could be slowing it up.
((Wellness Hugs Lynn...))
hope Sleep is Sweet and the Morning brings comfort to you...
Echoing Lynne's remarks, good to see some pals from the not-so-distant past returning to chitty chat and be "back in the nest" with us
Thanks for the manners reminder, Lynne, and GOOD ON CHARLOTTE, YOU GO GIRL !
I could steer the conversation away from Liver and Mention:

It's updated Paula. And if it was my virus protection, I would think it would affect IE as well, but IE is working just fine. I tried disabling add ons and restarting in FF Safe Mode, but that didn't work either.

How thankful can we be - No snow, rain or wind! Beautiful night for Belle and the egg. Hope Shep will be ready to
take over in the morning.
I did watch Alcatraz and got a little bit lost in the story as to who was who.
As things are calm - I am going to close down for the evening.
all righty there Hoda
and I saw you got your sweater darned
My Mom used to also darn socks, with one of the wooden eggs on a handle...
Me too, soon Jo...
I'll try to do better at observing the speed limit Tuesday, Precious Pals...I often say that and seldom follow through
:(
I'll be at work, that holds it down, and waaaaah I have no sound at the work computer, but the screen is bigger....
I'll be watching what others are saying...
Watching Belle in the nest as she was sleeping earlier all tucked in and now resting is surely a joyful site to see!!
I think I will go to my nest and tuck in as well.
Wishing you all restful sleep tonight.
Prayers for all in this roost and beyond.....
Night ♥
What a day, though, eh??
Many beautiful views of our Royal Pair...I have not used that term yet for Belle and Shep, but I think
I'm ready...
The Royal Pair, the Royal Nest, and the Royal Egg
Prayers for Wellness, and Comfort of the Mind, Soul, Spirit, and Body, for us and all our loved ones, pets and people
Good Night, Precious Pals...
Love you much....Thanks for the Friendship and Fellowship
God Bless This Nest, and
God Bless Us, Every One
xoxo ♥ (( Hugs ♥ )
lol I always had a wooden egg on a handle! Good old memories.
Good night friends & Bless All of you & your loved ones.
Prayers for all those who are healing and for all our individual needs
Hugs to all of you ♥♥♥♥♥♥
I have to google wooden egg on a handle...I have several wooden eggs that I put herbal essence on and then tuck in my closet and storage areas.I have not seen a wooden egg with a handle...sounds practical.
Goodnight JO and MARGY...
Will echo Lynne2's comment welcoming our new oldies.
See that Belle is tucked in nicely and hope, too, that Shep will relieve her come morning.
It's been an active day at the royal nest and now I must end the day at this nest (though not a royal one).
Prayers for wellness tomorrow for our dear Lynn and anyone else feeling poorly today, including myself.
Margy, run, run, run... love ya
God bless! ♥♥♥♥
Never seen the egg on the handle!
Heading for bed, sleep well all!
(((Hugs for all)))♥
Belle looks all tucked in and well into sleeping comfortably...
Can't find my way, again.....
Well, I see me but don't know if I'm in the right thread or not??
Yes you ar eon the right thread WANDA...I am glad you are getting better with your knee and many challenging exercises...Proud of you.
Hi Wanda!
I fell asleep, Jack just woke me up and I am headed to the shower.
Good night LOLLY and JACK
Belle just woke up and is scratching and then looking down under her in the cup area.
the nest does look great in the moonlight. It is up to you, Wanda, when the moon is gone you are going to have to go and provide the light. Belle is stirring right now. Egg roll I think. She has her head down but not letting anyone see.
Nite Hoda! Nite all!
Sweet dreams!
Egg roll
GOODNIGHT DEAR FRIENDS
SLEEP WELL
PRAYERS FOR ALL
Prayers for all those that need them and for those that don't think their problem or illness is bad enough to ask for prayers b/c other are worse off than them. You need prayer too and God see that you are there taking care of thes people too Thank You.
Turning in nighty night Hi Lori (:
Hi, Everyone,
Have been lurking a bit today, but not much.
--P.S. Forgot to mention, Sharon, that I LOVE the dress! You will look beautiful in it!
I put several pictures in th ephoto album.
Belle is up again, looking in the cup areashe seems puffed up to me...
Hello DanaWV, ANDY and Hoda!
Amazing how an egg will keep so many up late, or early!
Was just going to post the Belle moving around report - thanks for getting that, Hoda.
I am glad you are here too LORI. I hope you have a terrific day...
I am ready to log off...good night, sweet dreams and God Bless us all.
PRAYERS.

Good Morning Early Bird Best Friends!
Hello DanaMo, Sandi, Margy, JudyE, Shirley and all the familiar faces who are popping in again.
Belle is still sleeping but has changed positions...now facing 2.
Good morning Lori ☼
It's the 100th day of school
Happy 100th Day of School! How many more are left? I hope you're going to wear a fun outfit to celebrate today! :)
I will "wear" my 100 day project. I have a denim shirt with 100 buttons pinned on. I think I used it for my avatar when I first came to the blog.
Good Morning Lori, DanaMo and Hoda. I am sure Sandi and Shirley and JudyE will be coming in soon.
Good Morning DanaWV!!! I hope you're ready to make it a great day!
That means I hope you got enough rest last night that you can have a great day today!
Morning Lori, DMo, and DanaWV! Morning Miss Belle on the nest! Morning Egglet!
Well I am ready don't know how great a day it will turn out to be.
Went to put my watch on and the one side of the gold band came apart. Hopefully it can be fixed.
So I am still looking forward to a great day Lori !!!
What time is sunrise?
ZI hear the train.
SUNRISE THIS MORNING IS 7:13
SUNSET TONIGHT IS 5:38pm
WEATHER TODAY:
Increasing clouds, with a high near 52. Wind between 5 - 10 mph.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 29.
Waiting for relief?
When I refreshed the cam, Belle was up and off the egg, standing on the rails at 11 and making some little noises. Now settled back down with her head tucked- OK I AM going!
Good morning girls. I saw Belle stretching her legs a couple minutes a go. Thanks for the weather, Lori, the 50s will be nice weather for the Sycamore Palace.
hmmm...she went back to sleep. Wish I could...
I'm off to wake the kids and get ready for school. BBL
Sandi, most of the unfamiliar names you saw yesterday were familiar during last year's nest drama, and they're checking in again now that we're in full egg mode. Nice people. ♥
I had dinner last night with some girls I don't get to see very often. So nice to see them and chat it up for a couple hours. Good time :-)
Good Morning sUSAn. I love your avatar with the rottie! Very cute. And, we're so happy to have you back!
Hey Lori! Are you coming to the Rumsey Open House in April?? I know Dana will be there. How about you, Sandi?
Belle just called out.
Oh yes, Belle is standing and calling out for Shep now. She's ready for a fly-about.
POOP Belle
A lone egg on the nest.
egg unattend huh I just saw her poof and good morning one and all
and there he is
SHEP IN THE NEST
DANG! I missed the switch!
Make that a POOF hahaha And SHep is in and on the egg. GOOD BOY!
aw...settled right in. ☺
I chated with a lady that does NBG and she said she has never seen a eagle cover the egg with flugg HMMM odd huh
Oh, look at him settling in and grabbing at the flugg to comfort himself. Cute.
That was a great switch. She called and Shep was right in to relieve. Now THAT's what we like to see. Hi JudyE.
DanaMo, are you coming to the gathering in April?
5500 people were killed last year while being distracted Phone calling or texting just on the news right now a new app for phone will not let you use it if you are going more than 15mph
Shep has to down-size the sitting area for his narrow butt. Pull in the fluff. lol
Good idea on the phone, Judy. That is a tough way to cull the herd.
More times than not when I'm behind someone driving eradically, it's someone either texting or talking on the phone.
Make that "erratically." I knew that didn't look right.
Shep is snug as a bug, working the fluff as he sits.
Good Morning Eagle Pals...
I see Shep is on the Royal Egg,
now to read how YOU morning folks are doing and what else I missed out on
☺
Morning MARGY, now I really am off!! TTFN!
loved the bib overall to your wedding MARGY my BFF in NC is a bid wearing also
good morning, lol. love the food conversation:
magpie: never have eaten beef tongue nor do i want to...but i will tell you want what mom used to eat and it just used to wig me out: brains. judy, do you remember? ewwwwwwwwwww just the LOOK of it.....
i am all about trying new foods, but there are some things i would have to be starving and/or not know what they are and those two things are in that category for me!
looks like a "normal" day around here, no fever for the young en'...so back to school for her and work for me. it is a chilly morning here, 30....smells good and feels crisp as you walk out! nice frost too. i've seen daffodils blooming, although mine aren't YET.....but soon i think.
i just tuned in to see shep settle on the nest and then snuggle down on their egg! i used some of the videos, like laying the egg and such as a reward for olivia's study efforts yesterday. she so hates social studies and we spent the better part of 3 hours, off and on studying and discussing this chapter that she has a test over today. she was not prepared at all. i have emailed the teacher/ again/ and asked for some assistance...i e. study sheets coming home....etc. every other grade is in the 80's and 90's but at this moment she is failing social studies!!!!!! yikes. the dates really trip her up. and its just memorization, i know this, so we used some tricks i used to use. i hated memorizing dates as well.....crossing fingers that she passes this test!!!!!!
i hope everyone has a great day. i will tune in this afternoon to see how belle and shep are doing and how everyone else is doing as well. til then, have a wonderful and safe day! (smiles for all!)
Before you speak, ask yourself, is it kind, is it necessary, is it true, does it improve on the silence?
- Sai Baba
Shower time for me. Will check back before heading out to the no-blog zone at work.
Hey SUSAN, yes, I'll be there for all the events at the non open house weekend! Hope you will be, too!
I DID A QUICK VIDEO OF THE SWITCH JUST A BIT AGO WILL PUT ON YOUTUBE AGAIN
GOING TO THE COUCH TO PET BENNY
YEP BRAINS AND LARD SANDWICHES AND PIGS FEET AND RAW FISH SHE ATE ALL KINDS OF ODD THING HUH SIS
Quite a lot of Eagle Pals on here ☺
I'll save space YOU know who you are...
Isn't it simply amazing that Shep and any new Eagle or Bird parent knows just what to do...
DanaMo
Congrats on Day #100 would love to see a picture of that Button Denim Outfit again..
Janet, Good Nursing, glad the little one is ready and rarin' to go
Hope Belle is out getting her own kind of WHOPPER right now....
not liver, beef tongue, brains, but FISH
according to WV DNR calendar this is a GREAT fishing day, they have BEST fishing days as well listed
Great late-night report from Wanda...know everyone will miss her tonight at Soup Kitchen, but see there's a razzle-dazzle array from Lori and Kate for the Clothes Closet ☺
Your wish is my command. Is that how it goes??? Okay here's the picture with the shirt on. I'll change my profile over on FB too.
Time to shake a couple of legs and get ready for work
Best Wishes for a Good Day, Everyone
See You Later
xoxo (( Hugs ♥ ))
That's Awesome, DanaMo ☺
"Thanks for Sharing."
Have a lot of Smiles ☺☺☺☺

Morning all. Trying to read back and watch but this old laptop says no. Hope to get the new computer today. then I'll be ready for the hatching in 33 days..

You should see me trying to dance and drive ♪ ♫

Shep backed up off the egg carefully, up onto the rear rails, then off to the right
Belle digging around egg cup now wiggles down onto egg
Good morning folks! Will there be another egg today? I hope so!
I get to finish taxes this morning, then go to the rheumatologist. I know, you're all jealous of my super-exciting life! :D
Hope everyone has a good day!
My co-workers.....are in awe, watching this...
Me too
xo
Good morning everybody. Saw Belle fly in and Shep fly out. I so love seeing our eagles all the time.
I went to visit Nila last night for about 1-1/2 hours. What a wonderful visit. She was sitting up on the side of the bed crocheting. She goes to the bathroom by herself now, using a walker. GOD IS SO GOOD ALL THE TIME. For sure, every day is such a gift.
Sharon, how wonderful for Nila to feel better, and for you to have more quality time with your dear friend. ♥
Eagle sweet talk going on.
Shep has arrived!
Sharon thank you for the update on Nila. It sure sounds like she is doing better and better.
Could those drs be wrong about her diagnosis?
Belle still sitting....
And I have arrived. Practically 10 hrs of solid sleep. I am going to have a good day. I AM going to have a good day. I am going to have a GOOD day. If only saying so will make it so!!!!
And poof Shep.
Poof Shep.
Eagle call.
Lynn will have a good day.
Comments about last night comments:
Margy, I still have my grandma's darning egg; Mom still has her own! I have used it before.
LIVER---my Dadd HATED liver, too. The first time he was invited to dinner by Grams and Pop, she made liver and onions and mashed pots. Daddy cut his liver into tiny pieces and wrapped it in his potatoes and swallowed it whole. That was when my Mom knew he loved her!!!!
Lolly-if YOU like liver and don't cook it, is it because Jack doesn't like it? I hate it, but I cooked it for the mr. who did love it.
Flugg rearrangement.
Good Morning Lynn (: That is going to have a WONDERFUL DAY♥
Delphia hope things turn out
at rheumatologist. Maybe he
can help with getting you
back onto Disability.
SPLIT your way into a GOOD Day,
Lynn xoxo ♥
Are we still at only one egg?
Ok, now I'm having the problems with the blog that some of you were describing. I'll check back later.
No Dana, Nila for sure has metastatic cancer. Been fighting it for about 6 years.
Belle just dug flugg from China and then what looked like a mockingbird landed at about 12 o'clock. Belle was not happy with that.
Delphia, we are still only 1 egg. I am going to say another will be laid tomorrow.
LOL, MArgy...think someone else did!
Happy Birthday to JudyE's Angie!!!!
Sharon, give Nila a hug from me when you see her again. We survivors gotta stick together!!!
How's the new puter?????
Bye taxes and errands
