Hi Margy!

So good to see you.

Hoda said...

I have been fuming about your landlord and the responses they give LYNNE...I do not know what to say that would be fit to print and in line with compassion and forgivness. Right now I feel neither towards the chap.Hang on.

hedgie said...

Lynne, so cool that you had an "excuse" to stop at the little paradise!! Now that you know her, you can stop and visit again!!
Sounds lovely.

As for the service, two of the kids were here....the third stayed out west to care for all the grands.....so not sure if maybe brothers were coming in or not. I tried to call Kathie last night, but just got the machine so left a message. No return call. Sure hope she is holding up okay.

To sofa with Liesl and to concentrate on Criminal Minds. BBL.

Lolly said...

Lynne, love the story of you getting the daisies!

Watching X Factor!

Lolly said...

Oh, Lynn, so sorry about the knee. You had not mentioned it so was hoping it was better. Drat!

Lolly said...

Man came to the house today to work on the phones. Gave us a new modem, removed some filters and so far the phones sound good. My question was....what were the filters filtering??? Why put them there if the phones work better without them???

Lynne2 said...

I can't wait to stop by again! I think I may have found a new gardening buddy!

Prayers that Kathie will be OK....I cannot even imagine....

sounds like a fun day for you tomorrow with Healthy as a Horse Malcolm, and your Beloved Seth

magpie said...

I can picture JudyE dressing this morning, too funny...I do the same kind of things.
used to lay all my EMT clothes out at night so I could dress and get out the door, to the fire station, on the ambulance, and on to the call

Shirley
I sure hope you get your Garage Back !!!
I love every Hunter story you share with us, and what you do for him ♥

Lynne -
Wonderul visit with Linda aka Lynn with the Shasta Daisies, and plans for more return visits....
It sounds like Good Karma to me

Kay said...

LOLLY, I remember those filters--they came in the AT&T package when my sil did my conversion from Broadband to hard wire/phone line early this year. He started to put one in a phone, but checked and found the sound was good without it. Checked the other two phones and deemed the filters unnecessary. He said the newer phones apparently come with proper filtering. Did the phone guy charge you for the work he did ?

magpie said...

EMT - reminds me...of Wanda's granddaughter and Wanda herself...
hope to hear from her tonight...

Lynn- Fie on the Knee Pain...what's the next treatment plan for you?

See I missed Judie...but I see she said she would be back this week-end - ☺ OK I can live with that

Strong Prayers on the Wing for DanaMo and her son's decision-making....wonder if...she is taking Thursday off for that sit-down session

Kay said...

LOLLY, you haven't mentioned walking lately--are you still at it ? I was unable to do it for a while, but resolve to start back in, tomorrow. My right hip or sciatic nerve perhaps is giving me some trouble. Maybe the walking will help work the kinks out.

Lynne2 said...

Believe me Hoda.....there are things I won't print either! I tend to get acutely and extremely angry and it's very hard to keep my mouth shut. HAVING to protect our humble abode and Steve's current source of income is the Lord's way of teaching me, uh...SOMETHING. Like patience, like trusting HIM. BUT, if I could spout off and tell them where they could go, it wouldn't solve anything. I'm quiet now, but sort of for the wrong reasons. So I am FORCED to think about things and have to find the compassion. Does that make sense? Like, I know that getting the pool property dumped back on them is a huge stress, as is paying a mortgage on a farm for 2 years that is still not renovated enough to move in, thereby tying up 2 potential rentals for them...the house they are in next door, and her dad's house, as he will have his own "in-law" cottage there so they can rent out his place. It's coming up on the anniversary of her mother's untimely death after a long struggle with bladder cancer. I need to remember that like JudyE always says, be kind because everyone is facing some sort of battle. But easier said than done!

magpie said...

Negative on a new dog yet for James the Kidster and his Dad...

MARGY, I was getting ahead of myself--my Seth and Malcolm day is Friday. Wishful thinking perhaps ☺. Hugh did not have to go out of town today after all, so the boys were home with him while Julie had a movie night out with a gal friend. It's good for Hugh and Seth to have some one on one time.

Hoda said...

Lots of respect to you and your post about your landlord situation LYNNE. Good on you!!!

magpie said...

OK! Kay, I see...yes, sounds good, some Man Time for the Boys ☺

HELP!

Linda said...

Hello Friends!

Checking in to let everyone know I'm still here fighting whatever it is I am dealing with....

I've just really been in quite a bit of pain....... A constant dull ear ache, can't open my mouth enough to eat normally, brush my teeth, etc and still tender from the root canal.

I go back to the root canal specialist tomorrow and have questions to take with me. I don't know if this is all because of a tooth problem or if I really have some TMJ problems.

Sorry I've been away for so long. I've missed you all!!

magpie said...

I hope you do too, Kay...
and, thanks in advance for the Hug, it shall be delivered Thursday afternoon after work ♥

magpie said...

We appreciate your checking in Linda...sounds very painful and uncomfortable...
maybe you know, the Still Cam is back up, don't look now, all dark, but maybe, post-sunrise Thursday...
Prayers for Swift Healing....

Kay said...

Okay, LOLLY, tomorrow let's get with the program and go for at least a two mile walk, okay ? Oh, yeh, I don't have the whole package, just AT&T phone and computer service.

Wow, James'es asters survived the big snow---guess the ice that covered them actually helped in the survival. I've heard that Florida citrus growers spray their trees to create a protective ice shield when bad weather is moving in. Same theory with the asters ???

Linda said...

Thanks Margy!! ♥ I will definitely check it out in the morning if I can.

magpie said...

onewith, saw you post earlier...hope your sojourn to Baltimore was a good one.. be sure to come back and chitty chat....
you have questions that others with more expertise and leadership than I have, can answer.

stronghunter said...

Oh no, Margy!! I zipped it in its little bag. I am trying to keep it under control!

Lynne2 said...

beautiful flower Margy!

LINDA....OMG!!! I can't believe you are still having so much trouble. UGH! I hope they can fix what ever the problem is.

I have TMJ, on the left mostly. I have to be VERY careful eating so as to not allow my jaw to move at all to the right or I will SCREAM!!! Also have to open slowly. I have to sort of wiggle it to the left as I open my mouth. I've had crepitus for years but I "heard" it rather than felt anything. Until a couple of months ago. Dentist told me I had TMJ a while back and it might get worse. He said I also appear to clench my teeth while sleeping, but not really grind them. blah blah blah. And it DOES cause my left ear to hurt sometimes....but not like what you are dealing with I don't think. Geesh, hopefully your TMJ is just aggrevated by the root canal and they can offer some help in speeding up some healing for you.

magpie said...

I'm going to move aside and leave some room on the slate for the rest of you...bedtime coming up also....

Thanks for the Friendship, Everyone, it's very dear and precious

Prayers for Wellness and Safe Travels....and Solutions to Problems...

stronghunter said...

Very sleepy here. I am turning on the night light and heading upstairs.

See you tomorrow.

Lynne2 said...

there are some exercises to do for TMJ, but let the Dr tell you tomorrow before you start. He'll probably be able to give you some to do but not till he figures out things for sure. Prayers this will heal fast!

stronghunter said...

Prayers for you, Linda. I hope that the doctor can help you find the source of the pain and fix it.

Lynne2 said...

Oh good grief, it Lolly and Kay are going to do 2 mile walks then I will do 2 on the eliptical every day too. CLEARLY my 10lb a month weight loss will not happen without more than longer dog walks!

Linda said...

Thanks, Lynne & Shirley. I hope it gets more bearable soon!

Lynne - You see a dentist for your TMJ? I do feel like I clench my teeth without realizing it. I've done it for years, but it never caused me any problems.

I just can't deal with the way it has been these past couple weeks.....this last week in particular. It's been awful!

Lolly said...

Yes, we have the whole pkg...computers, phones and TV. We do not have cable out here and we got fed up with satellite
TV service.

Linda, I am so sorry you are having such a horrible problem. It is strange, Jack has had infection, he had the root canal, and he has had no pain. He went back for a follow up appointment and the dentist was pleased with the progress and he goes back again in two weeks. But, he has not had pain, just a sensitive gum.

Lynne2 said...

oh Hoda....I "liked" Yoga in the Koots on FB! LOVE the office Yoga! Had NO idea how UNstretched I have become!

Kay said...

Oh, LINDA, we've been hoping to hear from you---just sorry you don't have better news. Glad you are seeing the specialist tomorrow. Good luck ! Prayers continue !

I sat down here at 7:45, with every intention of saying hi and then watching Modern Family at 8:30. So much for that plan, huh ? Now it's time to tend to end of day details and to put myself to bed.

As always, praying for all on our list and giving thanks for blessings of the day---one of which was the nice visit with Belle and T. this morning !

Have a good and restful night everyone ! Oh, and glad Robyn and Tori are resting in their own beds tonight. I didn't even realize they'd been at Johns Hopkins. I can picture the scene as Julie, Hugh and I spent so much time there when Seth was a baby in precarious health. We roomed at Children's House, a beautiful place kind of like the Ronald McDonald houses. Wonder if Robyn has stayed there--it's just one short block away in line with the main front entrance of the hospital. But, I digress, night-night !

Lynne2 said...

No Linda...no insurance right now. He recommended a night guard for my mouth for sleeping. Pricey without insurance but he did say the OTC type would be better than nothing. HOWEVER, I have a phobia about sleeping with something in my mouth! SO I have never tried it.

Lolly said...

Well....okay....will walk. sigh....

Hoda said...

Good to see you back LINDA. I did not know you were still in so much pain. I thought you had a lot to tend to, so I am sorry to hear about the pain situation.Let us know what the doctor says when you see him/her.

Lynne2 said...

OK THEN KAY AND LOLLY, WALK WE WILL!

Lolly said...

Might be a very good morning to walk. Going to be very cold! Walking should warm me up!

Linda said...

Thanks Lolly. I have had a root canal before without these problems.

I think part of the problem is the dentist made a crown for the tooth because it had had a lot of restorations on that tooth and they thought it needed the crown so it wouldn't crack.

I didn't have any problems until they made the crown. The bite has been off ever since. That is when the pain started. I don't know what they did to stir this up.

The dentist told me if the pain didn't go away I would need to get a root canal. I waited because if there was no evidence of decay or infection, why pay all that money for a root canal.

Unfortunately I chewed on one side for a couple months, which probably caused this whole TMJ thing.

Once the TMJ thing got so bad I decided to move forward with the root canal in the hopes that it might help.

Maybe because I waited so long and didn't get good information, I will have a longer healing process. I don't know.

I just know it is really discouraging when you don't know what to do and when!

Lynne2 said...

and Linda, it might be worth trying a cool compress before bed, too.

Linda said...

Thanks, Hoda. I don't think this is going to be a quick fix, but I certainly want some answers. I am going to stay ON this until I get it right this time!

Lolly said...

Yea! Lynne is joining us! LOL Have not told Jack yet that he is walking.☺

Hoda said...

I wear a night guard if I think I am clenching my teeth LINDA...my dentist made it for me...do you have one? It might help with the pain as it relieves the pressure.

LYNNE I am glad you found Yoga in the Koots on FB. ANIE, who is in the video, is a good teacher and a friend of mine and she copes with her own health issues also...so she is very aware...

Lolly said...

Jack got a crown, too! But, then the infection. He drilled right through the crown to do the root canal. It is a gold crown and will be patched once the infection is gone.

hedgie said...

Lolly, that is strange...the filters are supposed to prevent noise!!!

Thanks for the reminder about the X Factor---forgot all about it! Will catch it on the West coast station.

Mema Jo said...

I am back from dinner with Alexis and from watching Criminal Minds.. Lynn,
I think there were repeats due to the
baseball series, maybe? A good many shows had repeats.

I have a lot to read too, Margy

Linda said...

Thanks, KAY!!

Lynne - I've been doing the cool compresses for a week!! Several times a day!

It helps at the time, but I don't know that it lasts more than that.

The endodontist did put me on an antibiotic and prescription strength Motrin (800mg) 3 times a day. He gave me vicodin for pain, but it makes me itch. I can't take it.

Lynne2 said...

I really wish I could just use the fields here to walk in as I have in the past. Some uphill, some down, some flat, nice walking with the dogs. But they never cut the grass in the fields this summer, and didn't want to pay Steve to do it this year either, as they did last year. Now the 3 foot high grass is fallen and tangled. Tried to walk through it, but there are TICKS!!!! And I can't tell where the ground is uneven and my back will freak out if I misstep. So at least for now, I have to stick to the elliptical and the smaller fenced field where the dogs can run. NO PROBLEM!

Lolly said...

Well,Lynn, we were getting an echo on the phone. Nothing so frustrating as hearing yourself a half second after speaking! Also, there was a real "tinny" sound.???? Gone now! Hope it stays gone!

Linda said...

It's amazing what they do, isn't it Lolly. Dennis had a root canal about a month or so ago and they drilled right through his crown, too.

hedgie said...

Aha, Kay---I don't have newer phones!! But they also had to be put on the satellite tv phone lines (how it updates programming, etc.).

Linda said...

I didn't have them permanently cement in my crown because it never felt right. It was always extremely painful to chew on that side. So they just popped off the crown to do my root canal and put it back on temporarily after completing it last week.

hedgie said...

Margy, Dr. Knutson said MRI next, then arthroscopy with repair. All to be determined after everything else!!

Lynne2 said...

oh Linda, that really sucks. I'm glad you are going to see the DR. This should NOT be hurting so much, especially at this time...See what he says, and then maybe a second opinion, too, if you can.

Linda said...

Lynne - If you're doing an elliptical machine, you're doing great. That takes endurance!!

Lolly said...

Well, I am going to be walking in front of the TV!

Linda said...

Lynne - Isn't that kind of hard on your knees?

Lynne2 said...

Good plan JudyE....I don't have nearly so many pictures on my computer as you do, but I copy all of them to an external hard drive in the event something happens to this laptop. You surely have taken on quite a task! Even my small amount seemed to take forever to organize and copy over but I'm glad I finally did it.

Linda said...

I have soooooo much to catch up on. Hopefully I can do some of that tomorrow after my appointment.

I sure hope everyone is okay. I've been praying for all the needs, whatever they are. God knows.......

Lynne2 said...

Linda...I haven't started yet, but it can be a bit tough on my knees. But everything is anymore. I just have to start slowly and try to build up. I cannot keep letting the pain win or I'll never get back in shape. I will take Tramadol if I have to.

Lolly said...

Linda....you did see that the still cam is back up???

Lynne2 said...

Geez, the only thing about getting old that doesn't seem to hurt is growing the gray hairs!!!

Linda said...

Hey Lynn - Sorry about the knee along with everything else you're dealing with...... Keeping you in prayer!

Lolly said...

Keep drink the the water, Lynne! A full glass of water before meals, one with the meal, and one after....fills you up. LOL

How wonderful is that!! Are you seeing Belle & soon to be named Male??

Lynne2 said...

thank you Linda! I need to get a grip and start. Lately I have been thinking how I'm not even 50 yet and this is NO WAY to be living. Lolly and Kay will beat me with the walking whip if I don't! And stretching is a MUST....glad Hoda hooked me up with that FB site!

Hoda said...

Linda said...

Well, I've complained enough for one night!! I wish I was one of those who could explain something in 10 words of less!!

It was wonderful chatting with you for this short time this evening. I'm really tired and hurting, so I think I am going to get some rest. I did make it to work today.

I hope you all have restful and peaceful sleep.

Saying prayers for all!

Thanks for caring and for the wonderful friendship that is ALWAYS here!! ♥

Lolly said...

Lolly said...

Nite Linda. (((Hugs)))

Lynne2 said...

oh Lolly, I'm so ashamed....I really have been bad about drinking enough water since it has gotten so cool outside now. But I have not fallen off the sweet wagon except for 2 days!! Even so , I am still only 11 pounds down.

Lynne2 said...

Good night Linda.....hugs for you and Dennis. Hope he is behaving himself! Let us know when you have time tomorrow what the Dr says! And we want to hear from you even if you have to complain! We are a full service blog here!!! Ready to support!

Lolly said...

11 pounds is great! Get to drinking the water and walking if you can. Drinking the water will really help with portion control.

Lynne2 said...

well, 11 pounds is really like taking 110 pounds of pressure off of my back and knees! And that's a VERY good thing!

Lolly said...

Speaking of dieting....tried a new recipe tonight. LOL It certainly was good. It was chicken marsala, but had pecans in the recipe. Sooooo good!

Lynne2 said...

Don't know if you are still here, Margy, but wanted you to know that KARLA is also an ambulance driver now! She had her first hospital transport 2 days ago and was very excited about it:)
I keep forgetting that you aren't on facebook, so you don't know all that has been going on with my family.
Did I tell you that all the books that you donated to the Soup Kitchen were taken the first night. The kids love books and games.

LORI'S donation of books was a test to see if the adults like books, and all but one book was taken...so, they must like books and that is a good way to spend time away from your troubles!
She also donated some lovely purses and cute ball caps. All but one of those are gone, also. Many of her shoes were taken. She had a nice pair of sneakers, that looked nearly new, those were taken by a lady who has been having a really rough time...her husband has lung cancer in both lungs and still comes to the Soup Kitchen to eat.

It is a lovley article PAULA...Thanks for posting. There are many veterans in BC and disabled ones too...I hope they are able to contribute to them...

Our Closet was given a new sleeping bag by a helper's daughter and we wanted to make sure it went to a REALLY needy person, so we held onto it until just the right person came along.
Last night, one of our regulars who lives in a tent (tent city) told us of someone who was sleeping in a cardboard box and covering up with cardboard. That gentleman got the sleeping bag!

I have so many stories to tell you, but don't want to make you feel sad, so I will close up for the night.

Dear Wanda that was great that God sent the right person for that sleeping bag. Your stories should be told of what the needy are doing and what they need. The stories that you know can only be told by a heart like yours that God has chosen to tell them for those people.

It is ime for me to hit the bed.

Prayers for those that need them and any have been missed God knows who they are. May God creatures big and small have their prayers also. Blessing and Glory are given to God for all HE has done for this blog and it's people's request.

Margy so happy about James asters

Lyne2 that man is not treating you

to send him bad luck or things like
that. I pray that God can bring the
landlord to and understand of what
God would to as far as treating
a tenant.

Linda I have been so worried about
you lady. So glad you stop by. Even
if it for a second please keep dropping in to let us know how you are. Even if you just say you are here. May God bring you some answers tomorrow. Some of that sounds like TMJ but some of it
does not. My sister had TMJ really bad. She had to wear like a clear guard day and night. The guard helped her with grinding of her eat also. Even had to learn to eat with that guard on. It was
the only thing that would stop the pain for her. I have it some..so my dentist knows and for cleanings they won't let me open my mouth very wide. They are always saying just open a little and we will say stop. They are so so kind.
My dentist and the girls that do the cleanings know I can't open my mouth too wide. When I first started with them. It has even lock open before. That is why I would never change dentist
even for cleanings.

By the way if anyone can get to Winchester wherever the Dental school is. They will do cleaning and xrays for nothing. It is
practice for those in school there. If something needs done like crowns, pulling teeth and extra then they won't do that.
But cleaning and xrays are all FREE.

Lynn I knew you still had the knee pain. Remember I had the torn meniscus from falling around at the cementary. Finally they did the surgery on the right knee.
It was an in and out surgery. Did great and so did the knee. I did not need rehab for that surgery. So yes after this other is straightened out. That knee will
be a breeze for you. Pain free gal!!!

Margy I just checked the calendar Thursday is tomorrow.......tell James Dana said Hi and please give him a hug if he still takes
them from me.

WV DANA: looks like you're starting a new pattern being on here so early/late...not sure which it is for you. :)

Lynne, check in your area for legal aid regarding this mess and with your oil company for help; perhaps your state has something to help pay for oil.

Hello to my other eagle pals. Been dealing with lots around here and we're getting new kitchen windows. Soon I hope. The cold air is coming in now.

Shirley, had I known you were looking for a bowling ball, I have a 12 lb. yellow swirl one with a bag and shoes that I no longer use.

Lynn, sorry to hear about your knee. I had miniscus removed from both sides of my left knee. It feels much better than before and it tells the weather with some accuracy.

See that the still cam is up and I did see the visit last night while passing through. Yippee!!

Is there a list of possible names yet? I see Sissy is using 'Shep' but that reminds me of the Stooges. I understand the reference to Shepherdstown, but I'll always think of the 3 stooges.

KKay, glad you're felling better and better with each new day. Prays for this to continue.

Howdy Hoda, Margy, JudyE, Lori, DanaMo, DanaWV, Lolly, and our dear Judie. If I missed anyone, forgive me it's late and I'm finally getting sleepy.

Wishing everyone a restful night's sleep and a good day tomorrow/today. God bless all.

Good Morning DanaMo.

How are things at your house this morning.

DanaMo said...

They suck! I just can't figure Andrew out and I don't know what else to do to try to get him to talk with us. He basically listened to me last night after work, keeping a straight face, and basically not responding. I'm going to strangle him.

Lori O. said...

Did you see all the posts for "tough love"? I'm sorry you're in such a tough spot. Has Monty tried to talk to him?

DanaMo said...

Tough love, yeah...that isn't going to motivate him though. He is working, I'm not going to kick him out...He work schedule is such that I don't see him that much because he goes to work before I come home and then gets home after I go to bed. He doesn't ask for anything from us. We are probably going to make him start paying insurance and stuff, but I really don't see how that will motivate him. He "talks" about going back to school, but he doesn't do anything about it. Supposedly he was going to quit work to "focus" on going back to school. I'm not sure what that means, and he just clams up.

Lori O. said...

DanaMo, you can always pay for him to talk to someone. Maybe he needs a counselor. Just a thought.

Happy face now, how are the three flying Labs that make you so happy?

Kay said...

Good Morning, my lovlies !

LORI, loved WANDA's post re:your donations to the Food Kitchen's "boutique area" ! Good on you ! I have much admiration for WANDA and GENE for all they do for those in need !

DANAMO, this too shall pass. Thankfully you don't have to cope with Andrew's uncertainties alone. You have a strong faith in God and in Monte a helpmate to help share the burden. Thinking of you all prayfully.♥♥♥ Parenting is a tough, but rewarding job. God bless you !

Good Morning Eagle Pals....

The Eagle and Nest pictures from Wednesday Morning are Great!
Thanks to those that posted them

LYNN, thanks for the admonition for perhaps going at the walking thing with an unrealistic goal. Resetting my agenda. Will do the one mile walk with Leslie Sansone today--can always do it twice if it seems feasible. Will go at it that way for the rest of this week and try her two mile walk next week. I'm not trying to lose weight though a few more pounds probably wouldn't hurt. I'm down 25pounds since Sept. 1st. I'm doing it for my bones n' body, hoping to tone up a bit.

LYNNE, LOLLY and I have our "walking whips" at the ready ! Come on, girl, drink that water and get movin' ! I'm a January baby, too, wish I'd known at age 50 what I now know at almost 75 about the benefits of healthy eating and exercise. I wouldn't have Diabetes II and some of the aches n' pains I have now. You have a great opportunity here and I wish you the best as you strive for lifestyle changes !

magpie said...

Good to see Diann pop in...late, sometimes I was a late-nighter and we used to chitty chat then...

guess I better be careful driving ... I'm in WV and there are deer in the "rut" - chasing after those lady deer and not paying a whole lot of attention to cars and trucks

MARGY, just speaking of young buds and here you are ! Hope the bowling league upstairs didn't carry on too late last night. Seems you may have to have another talk with them, huh ? They need to move to a 1st floor apt. !

Kay, SHEP is the name of one of the 3 Stooges...

Kay said...

JUDY, good morning to you ! I loved LYNNE's gray hair line, too:

Geez, the only thing about getting old that doesn't seem to hurt is growing the gray hairs!!!

True dat !!!!!

Kay said...

And there's Curly and who else ? I had no idea one of the stooges was Shep ! There are some serious gaps in my education.

Lori O. said...

From Wikipedia:

They first started as "Ted Healy and his Stooges" which contained Moe, Larry and Shemp. "The Three Stooges" film trio was originally composed of Moe Howard, brother Curly Howard and Larry Fine. Shemp Howard replaced brother Curly, when Curly suffered a debilitating stroke in May 1946.

JudyEddy said...

Funny I forgot about Shep as being a stooge also but it does remind me of a dog

JudyEddy said...

there are two cases of legionaries disease in Tampa area just on news

stronghunter said...

Good morning,

Watching the nest. Hoping for a visit.

Just checked on those Three Stooges. The name was "Shemp," not "Shep." Golly the things we learn on this blog. I know very little about the Three Stooges, so I had to Google the names. Thanks for bringing up that info, Lori.

magpie said...

just checked that myself Lori ☺

Four 3 Stooges but only 3 on stage at one time I guess
okay
'bye

JudyEddy said...

that was three cases two in Port Richey PASCO co last months one person died in Plant City and there were two other cases there so 6 so far WOW two now live on the same street and they have no idea where they got it at WOW now something else to worry about

stronghunter said...

Oh, I see you beat me to the research, Lori!

Kay said...

Shemp not Shep ! Thanks, LORI n' SHIRLEY ! I'm going to stand by my earlier observation. If Shep is chosen it will be for the reasons given by the person who first suggested it or because it feels right like SHARON says. And, I repeat, Belle has been the name of some young trollops in literature and movies. However, it's a beautiful name when applied to our regal Belle ! Many names on the list will conjure up other connotations for some one of us. The best name will win out through our democratic voting process, I'm sure !

Lori O. said...

Hello and good morning Shirley and JudyE! May Shemp rest is peace. The Stooges was such a guys show. Don't know any woman who ever liked it.

Kay said...

Isn't it about time for color at the nest and isn't it about time for Belle and Mr. Yet To Be Named, to show up ?

Lori O. said...

The former Truder would have been here by now. Don't know his schedule anymore after that long stretch without a cam.

JudyEddy said...

Got to go get Jordyn Looks like a no show again I can't believe that they are doing the standing up thing again Don't they know our cam has ben down LOL

T-Bird said...

Good morning my friends.

JudyEddy said...

You know guys they were probably above the nest at the times we don't see them Big teases and we probably would be hearing clunking if the live cam was up

Lori O. said...

Oh, Kay, Thelma and Shirley...tugs for your Malcolm, Buddy and Flash went out in the mail yesterday and should arrive anyday.

Kay said...

Good Morning, dear Thelma ! How are things in your neck of the woods today ?

Kay said...

Oh, LORI, you are so sweet ! Judging by the reaction we saw in the Flying Labs and Liesl, Malcolm will love his new tug !

wvgal_dana said...

Well that was a short visit!!

Yea get back here. I couldn't take my bath last night. Feel asleep in front of tv. Then I got on here late. So I was late getting here this AM because I took my shower Lori. Maybe tomorrow you will see me earlier. ( :

Kay said...

Oops, walked back in just in time to see Belle before she poofed out of the 5 spot. At least I think it was Belle.

wvgal_dana said...

I got 2 pictures

Lori O. said...

Wow, that was fast. Bummer. Maybe he/she will come back.

Kay said...

Hang on, she or they are in the area and might be back !

wvgal_dana said...

Not sure if Belle looked bigger for take off. When in the nest looked smaller.

T-Bird said...

I sure wish I hadn't missed the visit.

Kay said...

Belle looked smaller when at the 12spot, just an optical illusion due to lighting and her position. Once she moved to the center and then the bottom she was her beautiful full sized self !

Glad you got a couple of pics, WVgal DANA !

Kay said...

I can't remember, did you see the visit yesterday morning, THELMA ?

Kay said...

SISSY reports the Decorah eagles bring food to the nest and enjoy meals there. I haven't seen our pair do that. Interesting to see the different habits exhibited by eagles across the country.

Kay said...

Going into Lurk Mode. BBL

T-Bird said...

Yes I did Kay. : )

wvgal_dana said...

Ok all this time I have been trying to put those two pictures in the album. I have never had it where they kept coming up where I put one in and then the last one. Then it showed the last first and the first last. Kept having to delete. Finally I put one in then sign out. Signed back in and put the last one in. It worked!!!

Wore me out!!!!! So you can go in and check them out. IF YOU ENLARGE THE FIRST ONE YOU WILL SEE AROUND 125% the blackish spot is on the head. So it was the male that came in this morning.

Where oh where can Belle be, we want to see you as pretty as can be. ( :

stronghunter said...

Well, shucks, I missed the visit this morning.

In Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood, James Garner's character was Shep and was the peacemaker in the family.

Good Morning!

Gosh, I fell asleep in front of the TV last night, and never got here! Had a CRAZY weather day yesterday--the Santa Ana winds were really blowing, and Emma was freaking! We had very strong winds all day (judging from previous experience, I'd say the winds were about 60 mph, with gusts of up to 80 mph!). The durn winds always seem to time it so they show up the day AFTER the gardeners have done their magic with the yard, too. What an unbelievable MESS of leaves out there! I'll take a picture once it's daylight, and share it. No kidding--when I took Emma out to do her business yesterday morning, it was difficult to stay on my feet! A big 20" pot out front with some small Ficus trees in it blew over, and it has a 30# rock in it to weigh it down! I'll need to go to Walmart and get lots of huge trash bags, and get busy trying to clean up!

I had a wonderful Birthday on Tuesday! Kubby made a yummy dinner, with flank steak pinwheels stuffed with spinach and feta cheese, baked potatoes, and broccoli slaw salad. He got me 2 Thomas Mangelsen limited edition prints. One is called "Crabapple Bandit," with a Cedar Waxwing, and the other is of an Indigo Bunting.
Beautiful! We have reservations to go to Gulliver's for dinner this Saturday, too. YUM!

DanaMo, praying for the Andrew situation. Hope he decides to keep the job--they are mighty difficult to come by lately!

Thanks to everyone who's been posting about the eagle visits, and taking pictures! I appreciate you!

Lynn, glad you've made arrangements for Liesl, and don't have to worry about her. Sorry your knee is still hurting!

Lori O. said...

ANDY, that dinner kubby made you sounds heavenly!
I remember the Santa Anas always kicked up in October.

Hooray that Barb is doing well! Kay, tell her to keep taking the "habby" pills, and follow doctors' orders. Prayers for speedy healing!

Judie! So good to hear from you! No need to knock--you're always welcome! That's great that Darth is able to drive again. Prayers for a textbook recovery. Hope your Police class went well, and that the wannabe adults behave for you today. How are the panthers doing? Hope they are getting along with each other better now. Will be good to hear from you this weekend. You've been missed!

Prayers that Lynne2 and Steve will have heat sooner than later, AND will win the Lottery!

Good news that Tori & Robyn are back home!

Prayers continue for Kathie.

Linda, sorry you are hurting so much! Prayers for your followup dentist visit. Healing prayers too!
How is Dennis doing?
