Temps are going to be about 25 degrees warmer tomorrow than today. Will be in church all morning and GG's all afternoon, then back to Church Lenten Services. Helping with refreshments after services...wishing we were working in the yard! Maybe Monday:)
GOOD NIGHT MY FRIENDS SLEEP WELL PRAYERS AND BLESSINGS FOR ALL
Hey, Wanda, it was split time and you're the one. Someone please explain for us newbies what the "wax, waxed or waxing" term is all about.
So glad you shared Dustin and what he means with me. We are two lucky grandmothers. I keep thinking Seth will give up this routine we've had since I returned to Columbus and I'm sure he will. I'm not going to suggest it however ! :o)
NASCAR ! Yeah for Kenseth ! Some of you may recall from our discussion of last week that I root for Matt in loving memory of my Stan. I'm sure he was smiling down on the Texas track last night. Couple that with the Edwards win on Friday night and I'm one happy camper !
The nest is, of course, dark at this ungodly hour---what the heck am I doing up anyway. I am anxious to see the nest at first light after ready about the actions Belle and Truder took last night !
So, good morning all and I look forward to "seeing" some of you early birds soon.
Today's nest weather-Patchy fog in the morning. Mostly cloudy. Highs in the mid 60s. Southeast winds around 5 mph...increasing to 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon. Have a great day everyone!
Thanks for the weather report, Floralgal ! I slways look forward to your daily report and this one tells us it will be a fairly good day in the nest area.
hoping Lori will give us a Cherry Blossom report...also hope she is catching up on some sleep too... her workdays during the week start realllllly early !
Oh, that's right. I forgot about the Cherry Blossom Festival/Parade. So glad a gov. shutdown was avoided so it could go on as planned. Looking forward to her report, too !
Okay, color me impatient, but I'm leaving now so I can shower and get some biscuits whipped up before Seth emerges from his bedroom. I'll be back after he goes home, I'm sure. Have a great morning and for those of you attending church services, may you receive God's richest blessings. For those of you who aren't, He can bless you right where you are !
Thank you Kay...I'm stuck indoors all day, will need those Rich Blessings !
Oh what the eyes can make out of something! I think the dark little fluff looks like a blackbird head sticking out of a nest of fluff ! buried to the neck !
I slept in and missed the morning visit. Boy does that nest look a mess or is it me? Are they taking it apart and moving it? I guess we haven't seen them leave with anything, but boy it seems strange. Just a random thought that went through my head.
Paula, we love hearing about your Beach House adventures, I mean how special is that, to open your door and see an eagle, first thing in the morning?!! It's been a long time coming, Lady...enjoy every minute of it:)
Good morning Lori. Missed you yesterday. I wanted to tell you that I bought that product that I was telling you about for the cabinets. Looks like I will have a project over spring break.
Glad the Island is not off limits, Paula. It will be interesting for you when you have time to explore it. Now, to find out what kind of fish is in those waters. Not that it would matter to me, I just love the peacefulness of fishing:)
WOULD SOMEONE PLEASE SEND KAY THE "WAX" STORY...I lost it in my old computer:(
Hey Paula. It's always a fun parade and huge but this year there was a car that caught fire in the middle of the parade route - must have been an antique car - so there was a 40 minute "hole" in the middle of the parade - almost an intermission.
See that the "Race for the Birds" Saturday scheduled for being at NCTC was moved to the Wellness Center in Martinsburg due to the threat of the government shutdown
scaled down, think only the children's portion was actually accomplished
Good morning every one. Three visits already this morning from what I read!!! Truder seems as if he is dismantling the twigs, he does not tuck them in properly when he moves them around...it is just getting day light here Pacific Day light Time, I cuaght the last visit.
Good Sunday morning. Have not caught up but wanted to post this before I forget it! According to newspaper, the Annual Race for the Birds scheduled for NCTC yesterday was moved to the Wellness Center at Shepherd U. due to the possibility of the gov't. shutting down. So good that DanaMo didn't go----she wouldn't have been anywhere close to see our birds!
Good morning! Have already read the paper and now caught up on the blog. I see that Turd Bird is just sitting on the edge of the nest.???? I am sooooo tired of him!!
Heading to church this morning and then working outside this afternoon. Have my basil to get planted in the herb garden.
On my way down to my classroom to remove the egg turner from the incubator. Chicks should be hatching any day now. So exciting. Then off to a lacrosse game all the way in Poolesville with my daughter. Hope it warms up a bit!
I'm getting there....will comment as I go along.... Good reports, KayIM and Margy. Congrats on your Kenseth win, Kay. And Edwards, too! Jr. moved up to 6th in points!!
Harbingerdc says a fish was brought in??? She posted not too long after the early AM visit....did anyone see who brought it?
Wanda, I WILL send the wax story to Kay, but someone needs to explain how and why it factors into the blog numbers----I don't remember, if I ever knew!!!!
Uh oh, Shirley! You are going to fill up the woods of MN, where all dead appliances and vans end up.
We are thinking of a new vacuum. Getting new carpet a week from tomorrow. Thought it would be good to get a new one. Have not killed ours but it is in need of ICU. ☺
Good morning! The more I read to catch up the more there is! I enjoyed reading about the nest visits-thanks everyone. Enjoy your morning Paula and may the peacocks come to visit!
I am getting ready - going to Market! Give a report when I return. (Yes I'll take my binoculars)
When there was talk about maybe you retiring. You mentioned you didn't think you two could stand each other that long.
The best thing Ed did was early retirement. Oct. 1, 2001. We did not travel but the memories we made with things we did near home. Of my heavens I wouldn't trade them for the world. I loved having him home!!!!!
Paula, have a wonderful day. Safe trip home, later, I guess.
Thanks to all for the nest reports. Did see the interloper there picking at sticks.
Blossoms almost gone and today ends, I think, with a kite fight on the mall. Should be fun for those who are there.
Margie, have a quiet day at work.
Hope Megan has a good market day and Jo has a nice time there.
Oh, I understand additional land has been acquired in the secret place where dead appliances go to never be found again. Something about "hiding" deceased vacuums.
Hi Dana. I know you and Ed shared so many precious days together after he retired. Lots and lots of special memories. Problem for me is only partly being cooped up with one person 24/7 -- just not used to it -- but the real problem is what I would do with my time. My brain is not quite ready to give up exploring criminals. Not so easy now with physical limitations. I supposed I could just work with the police but...?
Speaking of things to do, plan to venture out later to return some items to Kohls and stop by Bed Bath & Beyond.
Shirley, I know it would be a hassle but maybe returning the vacuum and having them return it to the manufacturer. Was there a warranty of any type? Doesn't seem reasonable for a vacuum to break down so quickly.
Yeah, I think I might need to do some returning, Judie. I think there is a big message on the one I have now that says "Do not return to store."
It is a Hoover. Kathryn talked to someone who does repairs, and she will not repair any of the ones we have. She wants to sell us something she claims is better. I want to know more before I buy from her, though. Might be a good thing. Might not.
Lots of pet hair is bad for vacuums! Carolyn goes through them like crazy, too---or did before Fatso passed. Toby doesn't shed nearly as bad as the furball did.
Working on getting ready for meeting this afternoon. Time to style hair now that it's dry.
Well, it's still coolish (for California) around here, but it might be showing signs of Spring actually arriving.
I guess the "shutdown" threat is probably why there's no still cam this weekend. But at least that means it will probably be back up tomorrow, now that the little political conflict has been resolved...
Sorry to see I missed 2 more morning visits, but duty called.
Lori, good on you for sleeping in ! It's good for body and soul, expecially after the week you've had. Burry is a beautiful cat !
Thanks to Wanda and Lynn (Hedgie) for making sure I got the wax story. It's priceless !
Hedgie, I'm please to see Jr. move up in the points race. He has plenty of time to make it to #1 if things just start going his way. It would be a big kick to see him on top at season's end !
I just saw four beautiful young deer bound across my front yard, heading East and away from the river. It's overcast, but warm and I'm going for a walk right now to see if I can see where they are. This is just 3 blocks West of the main north-south street through town. Hope they don't venture that far.
Judie how about being a speaker on criminals, tour around the country speaking to LEO's and their departments. Retired yet speaking and traveling, you decide your work schedule.
Seems truder is coming across as being cute so eveyone here falls for him and learns to accept him ;). Not sure how Belle does it, she went from having Lib who knew what he was to do to having to train this young'un.
I grew out of soaps when the Luke and Laura saga ended but this reminds me of one lol.
Robyn, I do NOT think of Truder as cute, and I certainly am not falling for nor accepting him.
TEAM LIBERTY!!
Jim, the live cam is up, just not the still cam.
Paula, you obviously are going to have to learn to exit your abode cautiously and quietly. LOL Can hardly wait for the day you see an eagle catch his dinner. I saw that in Alaska, so exciting.
I am back from a wonderful yoga practice and noticed on the OC site someone said there was a 12:30 PM EDT visit by Truder or as she called him Spot...I could not find a record of it here...did I miss it or did anyone see it, did it happen? That would mean Truder has been in the nest five times today already...what does it all mean???
Been to return some bath items to Kohls and made a stop at BB&B - no luck there.
Now need to look over the exam again. Job now is to make sure the answer choices are fair but require ability to discriminate "possible" from "correct."
Darth had a "baby kissing" park event and was then headed out to forage for food. Have yet to decide on dinner menu.
Missed all but one nest visit that was mid morning. Decorah is wet and windy. Maine looks abandoned. Our nest MT.
Shirley, maybe the fireplace, plus fur, was too much. Don't make things like in the olden days.
Saw a RT hawk driving home. Also heard some screeching crows.
Jim, hope things warm up in S.Cal. for you.
Robyn, you might just have a plan for me. Wonder if I could actually make some money? Thanks for the idea.
I'm thinking we may have to think as parents when our darlings return home with someone we don't care for much but know better than to say anything. Accept Belle's choice and hope for the best. JMHO
my mistake, the dark spot mentioned on the OC site is referring to the clump in the nest and not the dark spot on Truder's head...You did not miss a visit Stronghunter.
Robyn, I don't think "everyone here" thinks Truder is cute. He's a rather clumsy guy and Belle, if she's really going to accept him, has her work cut out for her. Of course, we don't know what Liberty was like when they first got together. Perhaps she had to whip him into shape, too. Watching other nests it appears that the female is always boss and has to set the male straight every now and then. ;o)
Went looking for the deer, but they were long gone. This evening we'll probably see them heading back to the wooded area along the river.
What I meant was his clumsiness was trying to come across as cute, not that everyone thinks he is.
To be honest with all I would rather a stronger male breed the next generation to give the eaglets a better curve in survival. I personally feel if Lib is still in the area and wants what he had back he will stand up for it next season, but if this is considered bonding between Belle and the intruder maybe Lib wont be back, who knows...
Alas school this past week has been difficult I had not had a chance myself to even remotely become attached to the intruder but if I start watching the cam I may or may not.
Oh, Robyn, so sorry ! A re-read makes it clear that you're saying Truder is trying to make us all think he's cute. You may be right !
I'm with you on reality shows, though I guess DWTS is considered one and I do watch that. Love dance and music ! Luke and Laura, hadn't thought of them in years. That's about the time I quit watching soaps, too.
Hi Red, glad you're enjoying such good weather. Hard to believe my eyes, but my outdoor thermometer says it's 82 in Columbus,OH right now. Yeah, Spring has sprung---it feels so good to have the windows open !
Glad to read about Pia getting a record contract. Have not voted for her but did think she would win. I really do not consider Amer. Idol a reality show. I personally think of it as a talent show. I got interested in it at the beginning because Kelly Clarkson, the first winner, is from our little town. Some years I have not watched religiously as I did not care for the singers. This year is fantastic. There is some real talent and it is fun to watch.
Those blackbirds look like they live somewhere in the sides of the nest! They're like the mice that scurry about on the TH & WE nests in the middle of the night.
85 is right fast, Lolly. I know you have lots of wide-open spaces, though. We were out west when the speed limit was 55 everywhere, and it seemed silly to go that slowly in some places. I remember being followed by a cop who seemed to be just itching to get us.
Belle and t. must not be anywhere close---the blackbirds are having a field day !
Mopping, vacuuming ? You guys are making me tired just thinking about it.
I saw that Texas speed limit item, Shirley. It's been a while, but last time I crossed Nebraska the speed limit on 80 was 80. Too fast, or does it just show I'm getting old ?
A few minutes ago one of the blackbirds was pecking around on both the blob and the white thing. I think the white is leftover fish from earlier---just a big horsefly or some kind of insect crawling on it.

Thanks for the weather report, Floralgal ! I slways look forward to your daily report and this one tells us it will be a fairly good day in the nest area.
Just saw a brief, but very bright light sweep across the nest. Security vehicle on patrol perhaps ?
Daylight coming on fast now. Easy to see how they dismantled much of the railing and the dark spot that was talked about last night.
Good Morning Kay, and Megan...
and everyone...
Megan..
Thanks for the weather report
Best wishes for a GREAT Market day, sorry I have to work -can't be there!
Sure miss the Still Cam!
But have live feed up...
not even going to try to blog and watch...going to watch and take notes !
Kay -
will Seth be watching ?? Or is he getting his handsome rest? ☺
back in awhile....xox
Good morning, Margy ! I'm' always happy when I you're on board for a possible visitation !
Seth will be sound asleep until about 7:30. I have him hooked and he checks in on several of "my" nests, including this one, a couple of times a week.
me to Kay
remember to watch and refresh live if you have to...mine stops
at 14.xx mins and then keeps running after that usually
Thanks for the reminder ! It's something I sometimes forget until it's too late.
Wow, it almost makes me cry to think of the rage this torn up nest seems to symbolize.
Eagle arrives
Mr. T
Belle arrives
both fidgeting with fluff
Belle moves the black thing a bit to our left
hes' on 11 oclock, shes in the middle
poof he's gone
Belle moves to 11 position, looking around
Good morning earlybirds.
The guys were up early to catch the fish and woke me. Mighty are their preparations. Yipee I have the house to myself for a few hours.
Glad I tuned in to see the eagles.
Seems brighter there than here. They're still determined to dig up that nest cup area.
He flew off to our right
Belle moves to 3 oclock position and off in the same directtion as Truder did
didn't follow my own command ...live feed had stopped missed the fly in by seconds.
Truder out at 6:28 from the 11
Belle out at 6:34 from the 4
Great play by play KayIM
daylight color has arrived
... and Margy
well oooops I agree with your directionals Kay !
Hi Diann
How about the way Truder took off from the 11 and made a big half-circle flight over by the 3
Good morning Diann ! You made it just in time.
Cam just adjusted to color.
Enjoy that few hours of solitude !!!
Guess I'll go back to get some more zzzs now that they're gone.
Everyone have a good day, especially Megan at Market today.
Catch you all later.
Yeh, I wonder if he cleared that take off pattern with the tower ?
Thanks for the compliment Margy--I'm beginning to get the hang of this important duty ! :o)
I was surprised Truder did not return like he usually does right after he leaves....
seemed like he was taking up a senteinal position there on the edge of the nest at the 11 before he left
sure wish we had sound !!!
I'm not leaving yet. One or both might just return. Like you say, he usually does.
You're going great Kay!
The Brat Pack is kind of light this morning... ☺
Sure would love to see Susan on here ! Miss you Susan...♥
DanaMo...might be catching some extra early Sunday morning winks too, guess the dogs are being quiet ?
Yes, and where is Lori ?
I make a lot of typos in the morning..
sentinal for one...
yes, they might return....
Your reports are good for this morning, Kay, I am not going to re-post....Thanks!!
Bet Paula is out looking for Eagles and Ospreys ! and maybe peacocks, or she might be wetting a few (fishing) lines
going to start putting myself together for work...will be watching ....
Best wishes for a good day everyone !
Thanks Margy, have a good day !!!!
hoping Lori will give us a Cherry Blossom report...also hope she is catching up on some sleep too...
her workdays during the week start realllllly early !
ttfn xo
Oh, that's right. I forgot about the Cherry Blossom Festival/Parade. So glad a gov. shutdown was avoided so it could go on as planned. Looking forward to her report, too !
Okay, color me impatient, but I'm leaving now so I can shower and get some biscuits whipped up before Seth emerges from his bedroom. I'll be back after he goes home, I'm sure. Thank you Kay...I'm stuck indoors all day, will need those Rich Blessings !
Oh what the eyes can make out of something! I think the dark little fluff looks like a blackbird head sticking out of a nest of fluff !
buried to the neck !
I keep waiting for it to move !!
can't go buy flowers today so I am waring a flowered shirt !
Time to head out...
Take Care, all
see you much much later this evening
xoxo ♥
I slept in and missed the morning visit. Boy does that nest look a mess or is it me? Are they taking it apart and moving it? I guess we haven't seen them leave with anything, but boy it seems strange. Just a random thought that went through my head.
B is having breakfast and T is tiding up. I didn't see who brought in the fish.
Was stalking my kids FB and didn't see them arrive! Dummy is stuck!
That was pretty comical.
Okay this is bad...my dogs ate my cheat sheet from momsters. Urgh...why in the world?
Good morning!
I fell asleep reading last night...
And this morning, I didn't surprise mr eagle ....spotted him in the tree when I opened the door....got some pictures! Then he took off for the island
Time for coffee
Juvie Eagle
Thought this might be interesting. Notice the dark feathers on the head,
Paula-just sent you an email.
I am so jealous Paula. I want to open my door and see eagles :'(
Good morning eagle momsters and dadsters.
Sorry, I didn't say good morning yet.
I see what you mean about the messy nest.
Good Morning. I think we need a category called "no-kidsters" too.
Just kidding.
BBL.
Good morning Shirley, Margy if you're still around, DanaMo, TDove and Paula!
Sorry I missed Kay. Wish she were here making biscuits for me!
Paula I think you found the most magical place in the world there. How incredible to see so many eagles and THAnK YOU for sharing the pictures.
Lotta cat avatars today so I may have to update that.
Truder in the nest
GOOD MORNING...
TRUDER is eating Belle's leftovers.
TRUDER IN THE NEST AT 8:21
Paula, we love hearing about your Beach House adventures, I mean how special is that, to open your door and see an eagle, first thing in the morning?!! It's been a long time coming, Lady...enjoy every minute of it:)
Hi Wanda!
TRUDER MAKING NESTORATIONS AT
4, NOW 12.
LOOKS LIKE HE'S PLANTED A TREE AT 12.
MOVED THE "TREE" OVER TO 5.
Wish I could get the still cam...hope they fix it tomorrow
We have actually had vegetation growing in the nest.
Gosh, he is funny to watch.
SOMETHING OVER THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE NEST CAUGHT HIS ATTENTION THEN BACK TO NESTORATIONS.
Good morning Lori. Missed you yesterday. I wanted to tell you that I bought that product that I was telling you about for the cabinets. Looks like I will have a project over spring break.
He's very funny to watch. He seems to have so much trouble with those twigs!
That was so cool to see his clear blue eye while he was working on loosening that twig and had his head flipped on the side.
Something just flew by to the right
FROM THE WIGGLE OF THE CAM IT MUST HAVE LANDED ON THE CAMERA
Wowser
got live feed from work
Truder is not a very good stick builder
Good morning again Morning Eagle People...
changed my avatar to
Dame's Rockets...which were out on this date in 2010
WOW he looks agitated, tree shaking, him calling
Looks like he was just calling.
fist nest for him probably
he's lucky he didn't have to start with stick one
first not fist
see he's gone
have to get back to work
xoxo
Truder seems to really enjoy his nestorations so he may enjoy making a new nest someday. He's just a hoot to watch with the sticks.
If the new avatar comes up it's my feral kitty Burry who has been tamed to be the biggest lovebug lately! That's always special.
Bye Margy. Cherry Blossoms were gorgeous as always, but it was a cold day. Brrrrrrr.
Lori...the cam color must be off.....eagles have yellow eyes...
How was the parade?
Oh the island is not off limits ....I see people fishing on it now
The osprey are not incubating here yet...must have been testing the nest yesterday :)
I didn't think I saw a blue eye. Thanks for the clarification.
Glad the Island is not off limits, Paula. It will be interesting for you when you have time to explore it. Now, to find out what kind of fish is in those waters. Not that it would matter to me, I just love the peacefulness of fishing:)
WOULD SOMEONE PLEASE SEND KAY THE "WAX" STORY...I lost it in my old computer:(
HAVE A BLESSED SUNDAY♥
Hey Paula. It's always a fun parade and huge but this year there was a car that caught fire in the middle of the parade route - must have been an antique car - so there was a 40 minute "hole" in the middle of the parade - almost an intermission.
Must be my computer off on the eye color.
LORI, your kitty is a beauty! 2 different colored eyes or just the lighting?
Yah, what's up with eye color this morning? LOL
He is a flashy, fluffy kitty. Big green eyes, but the flash made them look different colors.
I would love to hear the wax story too! Email it to me if someone finds it please.
See that the "Race for the Birds" Saturday scheduled for being at NCTC was moved to the Wellness Center in Martinsburg due to the threat of the government shutdown
scaled down, think only the children's portion was actually accomplished
story in today's Martinsburg Journal
That is SO Neat, the Eagles that Paula can see from the Beach House !!
Couldn't happen to a nicer, more well-deserving and hard-working Momster !
okay playtime over..
glad you enjoyed the parade, Lori - car fire and all ! too bad, antique car :(
might re-phrase that...
wish ALL of us could have such an
Eagle view out the front door...
just glad that Paula was the first !!
Good morning every one. Three visits already this morning from what I read!!! Truder seems as if he is dismantling the twigs, he does not tuck them in properly when he moves them around...it is just getting day light here Pacific Day light Time, I cuaght the last visit.
that would be caught not cuaght
Good Sunday morning. Have not caught up but wanted to post this before I forget it!
According to newspaper, the Annual Race for the Birds scheduled for NCTC yesterday was moved to the Wellness Center at Shepherd U. due to the possibility of the gov't. shutting down. So good that DanaMo didn't go----she wouldn't have been anywhere close to see our birds!
Amazing----after yesterday's discussion of birds at the Master's:
Shalaway on Augusta Bird Sounds
Maybe TV has him fooled!!!!
Good Morning Kay, Megan, Margy, Diann, DanaMo, Janet, Paula, Shirley, Thelma, turtledove,
Lori, Wanda, Hoda, Hedgie, and our Lurkers.
Hope Megan has a good Market Day.
Paula enjoy your Beach House--you deserve it gal.
I wonder what Suzanne will do when she retires? I'm always thinking of her. Although she can't get to blog---she is still in our hearts.
Good morning! Have already read the paper and now caught up on the blog. I see that Turd Bird is just sitting on the edge of the nest.???? I am sooooo tired of him!!
Heading to church this morning and then working outside this afternoon. Have my basil to get planted in the herb garden.
Thanks Hedgie!
Turd Bird has left the edge and is now messing with sticks at 6.
Hedgie, can you resend me the cheat sheet from momsters, my dogs ate it! (for real!) LOL
Turd Bird just poofed!
Cam had timed out....brought it up just in time to see turd bird leave.
Pretty juvie pic, Shirley. Head coloration looks like it is smutty....not as localized as what turd appears.
DanaMo---can you reprint the Momster cheat sheet?
No, doesn't look the same, Lynn, but it does show darker feathers on the head of an eagle with mostly white feathers there.
Wanda, I WILL send the wax story to Kay, but someone needs to explain how and why it factors into the blog numbers----I don't remember, if I ever knew!!!!
Okay, DanaMo, I'll send it to you, too!
Oh, okay, DanaMo, will resend the cheat sheet, too!
Hedgie,I understood fromt he OC forum, Linda posting, that the fish was brought in by Belle.
Kathryn and Hunter are off for another day of adventure. Batting cage first and then a picnic later this afternoon.
I am fighting with the vacuum. I think I have killed another one.
Saw that same message, Hoda. Linda said that Belle brought in the fish.
Uh oh, Shirley! You are going to fill up the woods of MN, where all dead appliances and vans end up.
We are thinking of a new vacuum. Getting new carpet a week from tomorrow. Thought it would be good to get a new one. Have not killed ours but it is in need of ICU. ☺
Have been cam surfing. Have not done that for a while. Now I am off to eat breakfast and get ready for church.
Have a great Sunday. See you this afternoon!
Hurray!!!!
Wolves remain endangered
Good morning! The more I read to catch up the more there is! I enjoyed reading about the nest visits-thanks
everyone.
Enjoy your morning Paula and may the peacocks come to visit!
I am getting ready - going to Market!
Give a report when I return. (Yes I'll take my binoculars)
BBL
I've been trying to read Hancock Forum to see if Delta 2 had a hatch. Their last report still 2 eggs.
Feeding the chick at Duke Farm still an egg yet to hatch there.
I think Paula better get a long vase ready for those peacock feathers Nugz is going to get her lol
Good late morning to everyone.
DanaMo: dogs ate your cheat sheet so you'll spend more time with them...it's a selfish dog thing.
Morning Judie ( : Tell Darth we said Hi ( :
When there was talk about maybe you retiring. You mentioned you didn't think you two could stand each other that long.
The best thing Ed did was early retirement. Oct. 1, 2001. We did not travel but the memories we made with things we did near home. Of my heavens I wouldn't trade them for the world. I loved having him home!!!!!
Good morning, Judie.
Okay, Shirley, if you have killed the vac, three things in two days HAS to be the end of it!!!! So now only good luck for awhile!!
Thanks for fish info....doesn't happen often...:(
Paula, have a wonderful day.
Only had this vacuum about 3 months I suppose. Previous one lasted maybe a month or so. The one before that a year or two.
Before that, I did much better keeping them going. Not happy.
Hello, Eagle Fans.
I just watched Lolly's Bear video.TY for posting! What a hoot~~~those tiny things climbing that big pine tree. They are good!
Was hoping it would not be so grey out---want to work outside.
BBL--gotta read & check cams
Shirley, I know it would be a hassle but maybe returning the vacuum and having them return it to the manufacturer. Was there a warranty of any type? Doesn't seem reasonable for a vacuum to break down so quickly.
Hi Lowreeda. At least working outside today you probably won't get sunburn.
I scared off a juvie eagle ..ha ha
They are harder to spot in the pine trees :)
Wonder if they will get used to your being around and not scare so easily, Paula.
Maybe you need a blind to hide in.
The fireplace clean-up might have been the worst.
You definitely have a number of different eagles around there, Paula.
All I know about wax is that it is long and complicated and you all invented it before I got on here. And that you say it on the hundreds.
Sent you the background via email, Shirley.
Well it's almost time for me to leave, so logging off. Have not even looked at FB today---hope I haven't missed anything neat to share there!
See you this evening...Eating dinner out after the meeting.
Enjoy your afternoons!
Thanks, Lynn. Enjoy your afternoon and evening.
Good afternoon, everyone. I hope you are all having a good day.
I had a great time with my family yesterday. My nieces stick to me like glue, and I love every minute of it. :)
Today is Craig's birthday and he and a friend went fishing. I"m glad he is getting to do something he enjoys.

A GOOD SUNDAY
MORNING TO ALL.
%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%
Well, it's still coolish (for California) around here, but it might be showing signs of Spring actually arriving.
I guess the "shutdown" threat is probably why there's no still cam this weekend. But at least that means it will probably be back up tomorrow, now that the little political conflict has been resolved...
C(°ٿ°)D Jim
As the nest turns...
Back from church.
Getting ready to leave Ripley. Gonna be a long day.
TEAM LIBERTY!!!!
WANDA, I have posted in my Hawkwood Gardens blog a picture of my WV Columbine. Did your TX Columbine make it through the winter?
Hedgie,-I can't reprint the list because I can't find it in my inbox or my outbox. Sorry!
I just got back from a game in Poolesville, you know it's dangerous to drive looking up in the sky all the time! Beautiful back country roads though.
Hi DanaMo,
I don't think anyone else is around right now.
Beautiful day here. I expect people are outdoors.
Hi Shirley. Looks like you are right last post was an hour ago. That's unusual.
Know what you mean about looking at the sky. Be careful!
I am finishing up a late lunch and looking at the nest.
I have been looking at the nest off and on. I must have missed that visit.
I don't watch AI but the girl who was booted off Pia was issued a record deal. Sry I do not watch reality shows etc so I am clueless to many of them.

Back for a quick visit.
Okay, back to work.
I'm thinking we may have to think as parents when our darlings return home with someone we don't care for much but know better than to say anything. Accept Belle's choice and hope for the best. JMHO
Judie I am sure there is money in that and good money depending on your expertise and how well you can identify with your audience them you.
my mistake, the dark spot mentioned on the OC site is referring to the clump in the nest and not the dark spot on Truder's head...You did not miss a visit Stronghunter.
DanoMo, check your e-mail. Hopefully I have forwarded the list you're seeking.
Black birds enjoying the nest again.
Good afternoon everyone. I've been outside most of the weekend. We are having some nice warm days in the mid 80's.
Hey Red. Thanks for stopping by to say hello.
Decorah chicks having dinner; NBG chicks fed and comotose; adult back on Maine nest; our nest MT.
BBL
Lynn, I do not know how or why, but I had never heard the wax story before. Good grief. I literally laughed out loud over and over.
Honestly, I got a different story last time, and it wasn't this funny by a long shot.
Gee, Shirley, how did you miss out on that? LOL A momster tradition.
And, it always a momster tradition for the newbies to ask " What?".
Judie...want to know about Darth's baby kissing park even?????
event!!!
Bad hailstorm in North Carolina. I think yesterday or last night. Christine did you get that storm?
I did get a story about the was, Lolly, but it was a different one.
In Charlotte, I should have said.
Wax, not was.
Blackbird in the nest.
Loretta, you have e-mail.
Need to go mop floors. Jack vacummed, I must mop!
We are 15 from a split, and from wax!
Thanks Kay, got it!
Lolly I vacuumed and mopped but I don't know why with 3 black labs and a yard that is a muddy mess from winter.
Good grief. Texas considering setting the speed limit at 85.
Good Afternoon, Dana, Shirley, Lolly, Kay and Judie if you're still in the blog vacinity!
Yeah for you DANA! With 5 cats and this being shedding season I could vacuum three times a day! Definitely sweep everyday.
AT least that piece of -- looked like a St.Bernard dodo -- in the nest is gone. :)
Those blackbirds look like they live somewhere in the sides of the nest! They're like the mice that scurry about on the TH & WE nests in the middle of the night.
Yes, Shirley, some real dummies here in Texas and it starts with our governor. Yuck!
It is in a different spot, Lori.
85 is right fast, Lolly. I know you have lots of wide-open spaces, though. We were out west when the speed limit was 55 everywhere, and it seemed silly to go that slowly in some places. I remember being followed by a cop who seemed to be just itching to get us.
Hey Lori ! Thanks DanaMo !
I think that St. Bernard do-do is just in a shadow now, Lolly. Right below something white ? That's where Belle placed it early this morning.
A few minutes ago one of the blackbirds was pecking around on both the blob and the white thing. I think the white is leftover fish from earlier---just a big horsefly or some kind of insect crawling on it.
Evening everyone. I am not even going to try to catchup.
I just looked at the nest and do I see a well defined egg cup?
