Thanks for the new thread and for letting us know, Steve and Lolly. Maybe she is enjoying standing up, because she knows she will be laying for a lot of the coming month. :)
Both in the nest! Don't worry when you see then not on the egg, it gets quite warm when they are on it, and they will occassionally get off of it, they know what they are doing.
I will do the same when he hits Denver, Red. I got a lot of built up snow and ice scraped up and then put down some ice melt. My driveway is in the shade most of the time, so I am taking advantage of a nice day. I didn't even need a coat!
Well, Lolly, you are on the EGG (ball) today!!!! ☺
One thing I've noticed about the new Live cam is that there is no time/date. Would help when we think it's frozen. Sometimes when I refresh, it doesn't come back at all. NOT complaining--just an observation. ☺ Very thankful for what we have!!
I could feel your eagle eyes upon us early early this morning, Sharon!!! Loretta - I'm not sure that colored eggs do much for Sharon - now on the other hand those chocolate Easter eggs might just do the trick. lol
Thanks for the unexpected New Thread, Steve. Hope your day is going well & not too much snow removal for you to do.
I am having big trouble getting the Live Feed up/running. Still cam is ok
I can see the new fluff in the nest! Need to read last comments on previous thread - I was looking at photos from Germany - Those little gals are really growing and it is delightful to see the 7yr old loving & playing with the 7 month old! BRB
Another thing about them being "off" the egg, Lolly, is that they won't start incubating 100% seriously until at least the second egg is laid. Keeps the first one from getting too far ahead.
On the other hand, they must incubate enough to keep the first egg viable until they get going 100%.
Good afternoon eagle friends!! Been lurking around all day, trying to get caught up at work. Today is the last day of the pay period. No slacking till tomorrow!! My live feed keeps freezing too. It is quite frustrating, I must say!
I have been watching the nest for the last 1/2 hour and catching up on the blog...how eggciting it must have been! Haven't checked out any videos or pics yet...will do so later.
Everything about the service was beautiful and afterwards we had a nice, intimate get together at Mom's house....crashed early last night and came home this afternoon.
Actually, I am heading off to watch the Mount Basketball game later this evening...
Thanks, Paula♥ I'm hungry, and tired of cooking...feeling a little stir crazy today. Looking at seed catalogs, wishing for warmer weather. Really wish the cam would stop freezing up-

Hope Steve is reading and could do something with the Land Manager if in fact it isn't just an isolated shot...
I am tired and sore from breaking up ice. I got my driveway all clear, wish I could say the same for the section between the sidewalk and the street. It builds up so bad there, some of it is 5" thick. Darn snow plows, I wish there was another way to clear the streets.
Good Evening everyone; I got out today and checked the eagles nests and they weren't around.I took a photo of the new nest from the road to let you see just how far it is, I guess my lense does a good job A It is about 1/4 of a mile from the road,i ranged it with my laser range finder it will range up to a 1/2 mile on open ground.
I have been on I70 before, I only know my roads where I have been quite a few times! I was hoping he would make it to CO today, I won't be watching tomorrow. The snowy owl is still hanging around and we are taking my sister and Roger to see if we can find it again.
That will be fun, Dave. Two of the nests I know of, we can get close to by water only. But that works okay, except it will be hard to see what is in the nest until the eaglets get bigger. There is an island near one of the nests, but you can't go on the islands most of the spring and summer to protect nesting Piping Plovers and Least Terns.
Got my call into Norma!! She was out and about today & went to lunch with friends! She picked up her computer but just didn't hook it up yet. I'm sure she didn't have any back up disc and of course the shop cleaned everything out and started fresh. She wouldn't leave the shop until they had found her eagles! She is doing well & I gave her the news of the blog!
Thanks Jo glad to hear Norma will be coming back on with her great morning openings. ( :
I had to go out shoe shopping. Brought the New Balance has the pink symbol on them. New Balance is involved with the races for Breast Cancer. I have been checking everywhere for a pair of those. I've had several family members died from Breast Cancer. So these shoes are special to me.
Who knows maybe one day I will be blessed and can enter a walk. Oh that would be great.
Good evening, fowl friends. Had a good afternoon out...once I got out.. Couldn't get out in my truck---it's not 4-wheel drive (didn't spend that extra amount since I don't HAVE to get out for work anymore!). Daughter came and got me...went out to lunch, did some shopping, and jsut enjoyed being out of the house. Brought Bill's truck home, so at least for the time being, I can go when I want to! Caught up on the blog, but haven't checked out newer pics yet. So glad that Paula was back with us...hope The Mount is winning! Glad that Suz and Norma are in the loop!
Konking out in front of TV. Been watching dog show on AP. Friend & dentist's asst. was on--she is breeder, owner, handler of English foxhounds. Made Best in Breed, but didn't win group---but we got to see her & doggie! I forgot all about dwnlding pics from today---may get a 2nd wind---but there's always tomorrow, Scarlet. So glad Paula is back--((((HUGS)))) to her & glad you got in touch w/Norma, Jo. I sent Suz the 2AM egg pic & one from 5AM of Mom sleeping.
Dana, they have the Susan Komen CA run/walk in DC every May or June, I think. I do the walk--only 2 or 3miles. I can't believe the ads I've seen for the 3 day!Have to be Olympian for that!
Can you believe I have been pressing some clothes for Jack. He leaves tomorrow to be gone a week and has to take slacks and shirts...no jeans. So press I did! Gooolllleeee!!!
I will be glad to get our Norma back. She is a ray of sunshine, isn't she?
Loretta & Lolly Have you watched any of the Kitty Cam? Had it on last evening around 11:00 and one kitten was awake and within 10 minutes all 7 were awake and playing.
I'm staying on here til the Eagle moves around again, she just did, there might even have been a switch, I was bringing things up, I want to check out the nest cup!
Well, I have been watching for awhile. Belle (I think Belle) moved around a little at 3:15 but no egg roll or wiggle, but I thought I was seeing a second egg, and had to wait to see...she just now finally got up, rolled the ONE Egg, wiggled, and is now down good in the nest all tucked in. I heard the other eagle making noises and thought they would switch but they did not. In the meantime, I labeled the pictures for Wanda, I saw the security vehicle lights three times, watched the developing ice at Finney's, (saw the two eagles there early,_ and saw what looked like a Cat at Pix Pa...first thought it was a groundhog, but, it just wasn't, but I couldn't get a screen grab.
So I'm going to bed now and am passing the baton on to the next Eagle Eyes....
Not sure, but I think it's Liberty on the eggs now. He raised his head, I tried to entice him to give us a look at the egg cup, but he stuffed his head back under his wings and went back to sleep. Smart bird.
Just saw car lights pull into the training area, turn around and head back out. Security patrol?
Now, from another angle, it looks more like Belle, which makes more sense at this time, since she still has to lay at least one more egg; and she can't do it by remote command.
Ha Ha I just woke up to The Beatles Thanks Megan. Looks like we are all heading to a party on the Yellow Bus!!!! Got a mail box full of cards. and One beautiful egg in the nest...of course there could be two before the day is over.
Thanks everyone. Dex and I will head over for coffee and dog treats soon. Gonna watch the nest while we... well I... get ready..he is ready to go over there anytime LOL.

Decided to check the cam...was surprised when I saw there was a new thread.
Good afternoon all. I have been watching the eagles all day. I love having an egg to watch!
BRS is approaching downtown Kansas City. My Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren are nearby.
