Better be careful or Mema Jo won't be speaking to me. and lord ie knows when floral girl will be in here to answer, and if I'll even be able to find the question or the answer again. Especially if that little chick come peepin gon out.
Glo you got me cracking up on your last question lmbo
I too want such a plant Glo. I don't want to put the hummingbird feeder out. Plus I want a hanging plant or one that goes in a flower box (off the porch railing).
Yep The garden is getting a little lower to care for these days. Well its the getting back up that is the main problem. Or if its a perennial, then they are kind of a little more worth the work, if you mulch good, etc. I too want to hang it out there and enjoy it. I have always tried something red and occasionally i have had a couple of hummers, but I want more and on a regular basis.
Ok - my vacation after a week of work after vacation is over - must get to bed - Frieda is looking at me with sad eyes, saying don't leave me..... I don't want to be alone waiting for my babies to hatch....
Ok, I mowed the lawn, I did the dishes, I fed the dogs, I folded the laundry and started another load, and yes, I called the college kid (I did wait over 24 hours, 30 to exact)
Glo I'm not old but I want the hanging basket or window boxes to hang off the porch railing. So it will be easier for me to take care of. Mostly with the flower I want lots of hummers. Does that sum it up for you too?
Sleep well and good night. I don't plan to be on here late like I was last night either.. have felt tired all day LOL. And still no chick, but I guess we heard from one, or she did.
Everyone keep Frieda company and get any pics of 'action' with the eggs/hatchlings if it happens - has to be any hour now.... sweet dreams to all in eagle and falcon and osprey and hummingbird and owl land! Oh Frieda darlin don't look at me like that! Make me feel so guilty for leaving you....see y'all tomorrow - send pics if you get anything exciting! Thanks and {{{{{HUGS}}}}}}
.Well I am not old either Although I di dhave a hwipper snapper tell me a year or so ago that she had referred someone my age at an agency we were both doing some work with at the time, to "elderly housing". She hasn't leved that one down yet. She isn't going too either LOL.
OK- daughter is 12, not her fault we all want to be on computer at same time. Hummingbirds love any plant with blooms they can put their little bill in for nectar. They love red flowers, but go crazy also for my blue salvias(indigo Spires)also. There are many different varieties of salvias, annuals and perennials. I wouldn't think of not having them in my garden, one of my favorite plants.
No, my plant is not hanging - it is setting on the side of my grill only because that is what is outside my kitchen window & I can see it all the time. Also, no my plant is not hanging - because I couldn't find any of the 3 wire hangers down in my basement that you need to put on the pot to hang it with. But get this If you had the hangers for the pot YES it would be a hanging planter.....
I love you gals! I am saying all this with a giggle in my speech! It was purchased at the garden shop of LOWE's. Not sure if you have them in IL or not, Glo. Incidentally, the unbloomed pots of mums are now being sold for fall planting.
.Floral girl So can you usually like find them in a planter in the spring. Do you think they would sell them in my part of the ocuntry too. Or maybe when I come in the spring I can buy some from you and bring them back with me if they would live here. Vicky and I will have extra room after dropping off all that wax for Sharon LOL.
OH hey I just discovered that if you get wax on the 50 you only get a half can...I pay such close attention too not sure why I didn;t realize that before DUH...well anyway VickyThat means I only have a can and a half. Pleanty of room for a plant ahnger for Mema Jo LOL
Yes, there are many salvias that are pretty common and easy to find. I sell them in the Spring as do many garden centers. The red one in my garden is salvia coccinea, an annual.Would grow in planter or in the ground. The blue one in my garden is Indigo Spires, an annual best planted in the ground because it grows 3-4 ft. tall. Then I have assorted others which are not as common in my garden. I know lowe's has sold one called black and blue, not sure of the real name of this one.
The new game on yahoo I have discovered and played some this week is called JT's Blocks. Kinda fun, and you can come and go, no time factor, and yep you get to play it by yourself, but you do see others high scores for day and month etc. Just FYI in case you like to try new games etc.
OK Floral girl I'll check Lowes in the spring if I can remember, if not I'll bring money along for a plant or maybe both, will have to see what spring brings, but a planter from there while I meet my online Blogger friends would kindof be fun to bring back with me. Someone help me to remember int he spring what this conversation was about...I would really love one of those in a planter that would attract hummers. Blue sounds like a nice change of color as I have had red there for each year now and not really with much luck.
OH JO Umm so if I were to get one now, would I winter it over, or ya know where I live it could die like and of OCT or by mid Nov anyway. If I could winter it over in the sunroom that would be fun. Speaking of which my Gerberer (sp) is blossoming nicely now. I think its as happy as I am to be semi-retired. That was my parting gift from where I worked BEFORE I took on that other big project. LOL
Vicky Yes actually we could put a close rod across your back seat and hang planters full of cans of wax in ther. they can kind of sway along as we head south east. LOL
SHARON ! Why did you announce that I got a half can of wax. I wouldn't even have known about it happening. I am so absorbed with hanging planters, I didn't even know what was going on around me. I sending it to you - you said you still needed some for the statues...............LOL
Many ornamental salvias will winter over in a sunroom or greenhouse cause they are actually tender perennials not annuals. It really depends on the variety.
Floralgirl that is great news. I will be near a lowes on Wed. Hopefully I will remeber, and run inthere to see if they have one. I will still hopefully meet up with you for some planter to bring back with me here too though That sounds like a really fun idea. it won't look at Unique as the hanging planters full of wax, but it will be good enough. LOL
The falcons in Australia are slightly different than the ones in Harrisburg. I found this question and answer on the FRodocam forum.
Maybe this is why Freida is so pretty!
From David Do Australian peregrines differ in any way from peregrines on other continents? Greg says: Yes, that is why Australian Peregrines have long been recognised a distinct subspecies of the Peregrine Falcon (Falco peregrinus macropus). This subspecies is a member of the Southern Hemisphere grouping of Peregrine subspecies. As such, the Australian subspecies is non-migratory; has a completely black head and cheeks; & a relatively large head & beak; these features are typical of the southern group of subspecies. Falco peregrinus macropus is further distinguished by its small size, dark back, rich colour of underparts with fairly fine barring and streaking. It is most similar to two smaller and darker subspecies. These are Falco peregrinus earnesti (which occurs in New Guinea, Indonesia and the Philippines) and Falco peregrinus nesiotes (Fiji).
LOL That's kind of what ai thought but I wasn't going to say anything. And dana has gone to bed. She'll never know about her planter, and Paula isn't going to be getting an answer for that one tonight anyway.
Paula I think that is a crock of a question (kidding). I'm just not going there...it cooks...food taste good...level.. Next you'll be asking me if the food inside crock is level lol
I'm still working on the hanging plant. Glo or Floralgirl or Jo does it come in blue???
Look, most salvias are upright plants and are good in the ground or pots, but don't hang down like you might want a hanging basket plant to do. Good hanging plants for hummers are verbenas, fuschias, impatiens, and many more. Crock pots must be level, do not make good planters and can be used for heating wax.
Vicky Sometimes it is a blessing to have A.D.D. You can forget what you don't want to remember. It's the CRS syndrome you have to worry about - because usually when you want to remember something important, it just escapes you for the momment. Like why the heck did I just walk into my bedroom...?? So you go back to the computer where you were when you decided to walk to your bedroom & you hope & pray the thought will return. Oh, yeah! Go to the medicine chest in the bathroom off your bedroom... take a tylenol!!!
So would commode town for sure It would make the Champagne Tribune, and definitely the Danville times. Probably make it to Springfield too in almost no time at all!!! LOL.
Yes, Glo, he's had a good 24. Been to lots of social/meet your classmates type of seminars. I mainly called to let him know someone from home was thinking about him!
MEMA JO, ARE YOU A COMEDIAN IN YOUR SPARE TIME??? You sure are cracking me up tonight! Guess I'm like that famous "crock pot" subject only I'm the cracked crock pot!
PAULA I have 3 Rivals and I love them, cooked a rump roast in one the other day for my son and his wife, turned out good. I like my big 6qt, have it at the beach and make things in it when I have a crowd.
Alright, hubby is asleep in chair guess it's up to me to get him to bed or he'll sleep there all nite and have a sore back in the morning. Once I get him downstairs, I ain't coming back up(that's right my house is "upside down"bedrooms downstairs, kitchen upstairs) so I'll say good nite to everyone and their crockpots.
LOL, Sharon Yes it is somewhat addictive. But you can play and BLOG at least with a still cam without too much trouble. Now I don't know if you can throw work in there at the same time too or not lOL
Did anyone get a pic of the eggs when she left. IF SO, please send it to me. This BLOG SUCKS It hung up all my programs & I couldn't snap the pic. By the time I snapped, there she was - looking at me like " I pretty darn fast - too fast for you"
man you no sooner get one mystery solved and a new onepops up LOL All I did was let my dogs out and come back knowing that Frieda's cam is owrking and find out everyone on here now seems to havee a counting dilemna. LOL
Sharon sent me an 3 egg pics. I was fooling around on email......... Jim did a great job sorting through all my Frieda pics from last night & chose some that show the sequence of events - like I was snapping every minute - because she was doing something different every minute. There already on the Mumster photo album. Paula, If you have an egg pic - I'll also take it.
LOL So typical, can't remember what we go into a room for today, but can pull out a number from way back when like it was just yesterday LOL (((hugs))) I do that with names a lot LOL
Well my legs are telling me to take them to bed. So off I go with my crock pot, the lid and a level. Hope there is room for me to sleep in there. Nite all Sweet Eagle/Falcon dreams
Ring the bell on my computer if you see a little fuzz ball.

LOL yes they do that. And quickly too
Ok - my vacation after a week of work after vacation is over - must get to bed - Frieda is looking at me with sad eyes, saying don't leave me..... I don't want to be alone waiting for my babies to hatch....
I'm back. Busy bloggers on here tonight. I guess nobody has seen a falconette yet.
Ok,
I mowed the lawn,
I did the dishes,
I fed the dogs,
I folded the laundry and started
another load,
and yes,
I called the college kid
(I did wait over 24 hours, 30 to

So now it is time to BLOG!
Glo I'm not old but I want the hanging basket or window boxes to hang off the porch railing. So it will be easier for me to take care of. Mostly with the flower I want lots of hummers.

Belle I don't feel up to bird sitting tonight. I did myself in last night and slept until 11:00 today. Felt like my entire day got away from me.
I do like retirment!
Welcome back, Sharon.. Thanks for the pic. Or did I say that before.
1/2 wax
Nite all those that are leaving AOYP With Sweet Eagle Dreams

Good going Glo, half cans will be better to haul with the hangers!
Only the retired folk have time for all those games!
GLO Jennifer just bought this for me about 2 weeks ago when she came by to redo all my planters. They probably still have them..
OK Floral girl I'll check Lowes in the spring if I can remember, if not I'll bring money along for a plant or maybe both, will have to see what spring brings, but a planter from there while I meet my online Blogger friends would kindof be fun to bring back with me. Actually I am playing right now while I BLOG and watch Frieda.
We can't let your awards go unnoticed.
Many ornamental salvias will winter over in a sunroom or greenhouse cause they are actually tender perennials not annuals. It really depends on the variety.
Glo, I have such a gizzmo to hang clothes on a rod already so we're set to go!
Oh my, we can really get Mema Jo going on this blog! Poor thing, she gets confused! It could be A.D.D. with so much going on around her!
Glo, going to try out your game.
Floralgirl that is great news. I will be near a lowes on Wed. Hopefully I will remeber, and run inthere to see if they have one. Mema JO Love you too. I'm gla dyou have such a nice plant and that it is drawinf hummers for you. Hang around, more to be revealed

SHARON Frieda is not listening to you tonight, its noon time there, time for her lunch.
Dana, Is your crock pot level?
OH NO, NOT THE CROCK POT AGAIN!
BTW,
Those are probably skates you all saw in Ocean City, not sting rays
Just tie the cans of wax to the back of the car and write JUST MARRIED ON IT......bingo wax commute problem solved.....hee hee
Guess floralgirl hasn't gotten her computer back from daughter!
LOL That's kind of what ai thought but I wasn't going to say anything. And dana has gone to bed. She'll never know about her planter, and Paula isn't going to be getting an answer for that one tonight anyway.
The question does .Rival all though.
Just kidding Paula. You have had a busy day, and did well with the phone call timingetc. Did he have a good day meeting people etc.?
Dana, answer Paula's question, "Is your crock pot level?"
OOps that's right its Belle who went to bed. paula is in luck, so are we and dana LOL.
Paula I think that is a crock of a question (kidding). I'm just not going there...it cooks...food taste good...level..
Next you'll be asking me if the food inside crock is level lol
I'm still working on the hanging plant. Glo or Floralgirl or Jo does it come in blue???
Am I invisible?? I have been here for 30 min.
Dana, that comment about "Just Married" with our WAX, I DON'T THINK SO!!!
See, sometimes things "fly" right over my head! Sorry floralgirl!
Floral girl I have blogged to you several times, you have even made a sale as long as one of us has a memory come spring.
Did we lose Nillabean for the night?? Or is she lurking?
Just vickY Aww come one don't you want to give Commode town a little something to discuss while we're gone...So funny!!!
Glo, I take that one personally!
Let's not bring that subject up from the archives!
Vicky did Norma's eagle fly away lol?
Glo, I'm afraid that would get my husband and I run clean out of this town!
Dana,
I love my crockpot too! (even tho it leaks, too, but I have an excuse!)
Vicky Sometimes it is a blessing to have A.D.D. You can forget what you don't want to remember. Well just as I was ready to take on the project of getting Norma an eagle, she left the house as in ELVIS
Jo you seem to be having a run on wax!!!
Yes, Glo, he's had a good 24. Been to lots of social/meet your classmates type of seminars. I mainly called to let him know someone from home was thinking about him!
.Vicky I knew that
What did you do ,Paula drop it????
MEMA JO, ARE YOU A COMEDIAN IN YOUR SPARE TIME??? You sure are cracking me up tonight! Guess I'm like that famous "crock pot" subject only I'm the cracked crock pot!
Paula. I hear ya. Iremeber that day /weekend with my daughter..it was a little tough on both of us, whether or not we actually said so.
GO MEGAN GO My grandaughter has all kinds of objects with plants them setting around the yard.
Crock Pot Planter - Uhmmmmmmmmmm!
Anyone have a crock pot they want to donate to Melissa Jo's decor ?
ROFLMAO at Floralgirls crockpot comment!
Sharon Ok now ya got to come in here and BLOG too. Hope you found it ok . I think its kind of fun.
Get one of the leaky crock pots so the plant will have good drainage!
GLO MUM is the word.
So a cracked, unlevel crock pot serves no purpose???
Dana, give the crockpot to Sharon so she can melt the wax for her sculptures!
OK PAULA what did you do to cause yours to leak????????????????
Mits,
I broke the lid, and got another one at the Pottery Barn in Williamsburg. It has leaked ever since!
Got mums LOL
Now this blog is beginning to roll, over a crock pot none the less!!
OH THIS BLOG IS A CROCK
LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
Freida sure is hunkered down. Haven't seen her on the eggs like that before.
Paula Is that answer on the level?
Oh but Dana its your crock pot we're interested in!
PAULA I have 3 Rivals and I love them, cooked a rump roast in one the other day for my son and his wife, turned out good. I like my big 6qt, have it at the beach and make things in it when I have a crowd.
I broke the lid, not the whole pot.
Yeah, Dana you never answered that question, IS IT LEVEL?
My, My, I go away for a few minutes and the blog has about 50 more hits! Has Frieda not gotten up yet?
Just got the game to work. It is addictive, Glo. Just what I need, something else!
GOODNIGHT FLORALGIRL! Maybe we'll get this mystery solved before sunrise!
Glo,
No, that is a crooked answer!
LOL, Sharon Yes it is somewhat addictive. But you can play and BLOG at least with a still cam without too much trouble. Now I don't know if you can throw work in there at the same time too or not lOL
NITE, FLORALGIRL
Good night Floralgirl Thanks for the info ont he flowers.
I don't think the Freida pic is updating!
Don't think I will be able to play while working. I would never get anything done!
Frieda has been in that same position for the last 30 mins.
It is either not updating or she is sound asleep!
Yes, it is, her head is moving ever so slightly. Wonder if she is listening to the chicks?
Nite Floralgirl AOYP With Sweet Eagle and Hummer Dreams
She just moved her head a little bit.
I think your corrrect in that Frieda's pic is stuck on the same time. At least the 10 sec one is.
I am going to put the home page up.
Unless it's stuck in the loop again!
I have the 10 second and the 30 second up and her head is moving ever so slightly in the 10 second one.
It's going ok. Maybe she is like LunLun Sleep before all things break loose!
Maybe she has a new hatchling that she is telling about the birds and the bees.
It looks like the same set of pics over and over to me.
vicky I will check out the crock to see if it is level ok... yeah maybe the crock is but the counter isn't...????????????
Now you can see her eye where you couldn't before.
She is really laying still today.
Yep, turning her head ever so slightly.
LOL That solves that mystery LOL
Thay should all be solved so easily around here LOL
GREAT Half of a Pic when she is off the nest..............
Chit!
she's offf the eggs! no chicks.
She's back on, good pic.
She's peeking under her chest.
I do believe Paula got the 1/2 can of wax this time around!
She must've been snoozin, could've swore that cam wasn't updating!
CORRECTION, SHARON GOT THE 1/2 CAN!
Nope, I didn't, Mits did!
OK, I'm lost, who got the dumb wax?
THank you for setting me straight!
Got to start working at 7 a.m. so I am going to hit the hay!
Good night and sweet eagle dreams, my friends of fine feathers!
Did anyone get a pic of the eggs when she left. IF SO, please send it to me. This BLOG SUCKS It hung up all my programs & I couldn't snap the pic.
By the time I snapped, there she was - looking at me like " I pretty darn fast - too fast for you"
You are calling our wax dumb? :)
Oh, but in the end you do get ALL the wax Sharon!
Nope, Vicky, it was Mits not to be confused with Nits
Thank you,SHARON I knew you would be able to count correctly, I'm donating it, as usual ,to you for the eagle sculpture. LOL!
OK, another correction, WAX IS NOT DUMB, JUST THE CRACKED CROCK POT LADY! and NOT YOU DANA -- I am the self proclaimed cracked crock pot!
Mema Jo, you've got mail!
What a crock!
Oh dear, not the NITS AGAIN!
Thank you Sharon, I'll take that as a good comment about the crock!
I am sticking with my prediction of 9/6 (which would be tomorrow down under).
Vicky, it was!! :):):)
Got my Elvis tunes playing!
man you no sooner get one mystery solved and a new onepops up LOL All I did was let my dogs out and come back knowing that Frieda's cam is owrking and find out everyone on here now seems to havee a counting dilemna. LOL
My husband got one of those late night phone calls to go up to the hospital, so I'm cranking up my Elvis while he's gone! He doesn't care for Elvis!
Sorry Jo didn't get a picture. i will start saving them if i get them if you want me too. Not staying up tonight though. The red head in here is tuning me gray, and the bird from Down under is making me very tired during the day. LOL
Look at her colors she is gorgeous!!!
Sharon if your going to bed AOYP With Sweet Sweet Eagle Dreams
Glo, could be I need to go to bed! Or just that "problem" of mine visiting me again!
Vicki anyone I might know. Maybe an email if it is?

Paula, If you have an egg pic - I'll also take it.
