Using blog as a way to record pic and videos  We have them on FB but those are groups you must join  This is for all public to see We previously used this as a communication blog  but no longer since our Matriarch Jo died. JO you  are missed. This blog was started because of her in 2006  She loved it so!  Nest has been around since 2004! I am sure JO  will approve of the blog being used like this  Well at least I hope so!

There are years of us blogging to the right there is a list of years many years 2006 If you get bored lots of reading between people all over the world that meet through these eagles

Most video are 3 min since the blog has a cap on MB at once   

The pictures I do try to keep in order of the day that way if you wish just click on pic and scroll forward

11-9-21 Cam up Now we wait Cam still has issues goes offline 11ish

 this seems to be our new view  I love it  Whole nest even the edge  Cool Beans   The cam keeps going off line  I recorded nothing but white screen when I was out and about  Wil keep trying Just was excited to say we have a cam will working on it

We installed two new nest cameras yesterday and everything went smoothly. Clayton tested both cameras for audio and video and the images look great. We inspected cables, connections and adjusted camera angles. We did have a brief visit by one of the adult eagles, he flew by @ 10am and headed back toward the river. A big thanks to Kyle and Matthew at S & K Enterprises who brought their tree service crane truck and did the hard work of getting to the nest, 95 feet up in the big sycamore tree! Next week NCTC will be installing new web servers, so when that job is done we will put both new cameras online.

Check back . I may have to work something out in the barn or the office to get the camera running

 Some awesome news to share, Randy Robinson, NCTC has provided an update on the new eagle cams for the NCTC nest as follows: 

We are shooting for the week of Oct. 18 or 25, pending our tree service truck schedule.

Clayton has two new cameras ready to go - the cams are identical to the current cams.

That way, we always have a spare cam that will fit in the waterproof housing.

I'll ask Kyle Friend (tree climber) to dig in the nest and see if he can find that fishing tackle, the orange bobber should help make it visible.

We'll let you know when we get the date pinned down.

 With the field Cam being such a distance I  will not be reporting tell the new cameras are installed in October! I'm sure that they'll announce something underneath the camera  when they install the new cameras  hopefully we'll get both cameras field cam and Nest cam!
