Well, we took the trailer to its home, took the car to the car wash, and then......worked in the yard all day!!! I weeded, mowed, edged and blew! Jack has the best d.... yardman around!!! (He was working in his shop))I loved it! There is soooo much to do, but it has to wait until after our next 4 day trip.
I was afraid I was going to come in here and there would be three eaglets...me missing the arrival of the third. Maybe tomorrow!!!
Yes, I was wondering about the shiney thing too, under Belle.

back to a semi normal Saturday. tom took Olivia over to sylvan. I got up, got moving a bit fed everyone.
by the time we picked Olivia up from sylvan, I decided I wanted to go over to the 5 below store (new in this area) and then over to Michael's crafts store.
we have a deck off of the back of our house, it is about 10 ft off of the ground. it has the grill, the hot tub, tables and chairs, etc. well I usually give my decks themes.
I know when we build the one out by the pool later this year, it will be key west Nashville.
But the deck hasn't really had a theme, til now. the back yard has been dubbed heeler haven for our heelers, scout and seven. today I painted the first of a few signs that will decorate the deck. one says WE SPEAK DINGO LINGO and the other says HEELER HAVEN. (in case you didn't know, heelers are descended from the wild Australian dogs, dingos).
other plans? One sign that says welcome to (the) outback (as in out in the back of the house) and another to say maybe the dingo ate your baby (from Seinfeld).
I also started to work on my steampunk hat!
its a labor of love!
I will post pix both on facebook and blog for anyone interested.
its been cold and rainy today and my allergies have kicked in. I was hoping they wouldn't, but seem to have. so its been nice just spending a few quiet hours just doing the thing I promised myself I would, creative stuff!!!
JUDYE: hope you are okay sis. I dispise that sort of weather!!!
those peanut butter cookie things sound yummy.
my daughter, Chelsea make some snickerdoodles a couple weeks back. now, normally these are not my favorite cookies, but she used that krusteaz mix and boy oh boy they were dandy!!!!
I used to bake from scratch all the time, but I am so busy any more that I typically let publix do the baking! holidays I will bake from scratch though.

We did find many nightcrawlers which Steve was very excited about. I remember when I was little my dad and I going outside on summer nights with the hose to soak the yard so he could grab some for fishing!
LOL LOL WHY the heck you talking about Willis LOL Herpes I also busted out laughing :-) and what is it not the disease so odd would love to know what that is on her wing reflective and it does change did you notice that?
Sandi I am so glad everything at your mom's house is falling into place for you and Lisa. Kay, Prayers for Shirley and hubby's condition to improve. More prayers for all of us and our friends and loved ones.
Getting on to say good night. Manicure and pedicure was on the agenda for tonight. Beautiful day today and again tomorrow, sandal weather. Must have the tootsies presentable. Right, Wanda?
See you all tomorrow. Prayers for so many, pets included.
Sally Armstrong a Canadian reporter and author was in town tonight so I went to listen to her lecture. The Ascent of Women. She spoke of Afghanistan and Pakistan and Cairo. Some interesting points of view.
Hoping to hear from KAY's friend Shirley about the continued progress of her son...
Good morning my eagle peeps. Buddy got me up at 4 this morning. I don't think he's getting sick again I think he just woke up early. I can't go back to sleep.
Thelma, so glad to hear that Buddy is doing well!!
Paula, sounds like a nice day and evening for you and Larry yesterday. Did you get a lot of rain? I’m a little worried about Denny’s workshop getting water in it with all the rain we had yesterday. Kevin is at home with Bandit, but wouldn’t even think to go in the workshop to check.
Lynne, looking for herpes????? Spring peepers are definitely out around here in Elkridge.
Lori, have you been able to enjoy your days off, or has it been all schoolwork??
Madeline’s show was wonderful - she did great!! The only downside was, as soon as the opening notes to Circle of Life started, I burst into tears. Mom, Kevin, and I went to the Hippodrome Theatre in Baltimore to see The Lion King live about 8 years ago. Many people have told me I will be doing something, feeling just fine, and then a memory will appear and the tears will start. Were they ever right!!
After the show, we all went out to eat and then Lisa and family came back to Mom’s. As I suspected, Lisa wasn’t able to come to the condo this past week - too sad. But she seemed OK with all of us here. We cried some, we laughed lots, we decided who would be taking what and what goes to Goodwill. Today I’ll bag up Mom’s clothes in the closet and Lisa will bag up the ones in the dresser drawers so well be ready to load them into the van when we go to Lynnis’s shower on 4/13.
Wanda, you are going to feel like you hit the clothing lottery!!
I’ll be driving Mom’s car back to the beach this afternoon b/c we have a buyer for it - the cousin of the girl who cuts my hair (I taught him in the 6th grade my first year at Selbyville Middle). Someone recently totaled Zach’s car by running into it and Zach needs a vehicle to get to and from college and to and from work.
Prayers for Larry and for Gary. Have a great day all. Hope I get to catch a peek at our 2 eaglets some time today - I’ve been so busy this weekend, I haven’t had much watching time.
Sandi, I have been able to enjoy my four day weekend. Didn't do any homework, except the bulletin board project on Friday, but that was crafty and fun. Finished it yesterday. Today and tomorrow serious homework for 12 chapters, reading them and studying for 2 tests.
We got about a 1/2" of snow overnight. Glad you didn't get any at the nest.
Today is Kate's birthday! Wish I were there with her for her birthday weekend.
Kate's Mom is not doing well. It appears to be end of life issues, but Kate seems to feel she will linger. She's had a lot of pain, isn't eating and is on heavy duty pain meds. Please pray she transitions peacefully. She's 93 and had 12 children!
Prayers for Larry, Sandi & family, Lynne2 for her pain, Wanda and all in need.
GOOD MORNING FRIENDS... It must have rained here all night...still is! Our 2 little fluff balls will be just fine, don't you worry! As I get ready for church, I thought of all my BIRD PEOPLE because, this morning, a member of our congregation is going to sing "My refuge, my rock in whom I trust!" And He will raise you up on eagles' wings"...a song that means so much to most of us. I know I will cry my heart out (captain Gene and I both loved that hymn). I HATE it when I can't control my tears...which is not very often. Hope our 3rd eggbert becomes part of the family today:) HAVE A BLESSED SUNDAY ♥
Happy Sunday everyone. So much happening in everyone 's life. Prayers ongoing as always. And we have baby birdies. That's enough to make any day better.
As for the Splenda - sugar question: http://www.splenda.com/cooking-baking/conversion-charts
Good Morning Eaglebuds. What a soggy looking Mumbrella in the nest and now I saw some flakes blowing past nest. Bad weather, Be Gone! We have had nonstop rain here. Sherry and Jim just left for airport. Boo, altho it got warmer, not good weather for any field trips. They had to get their MD crabcake fix so went to Timbuktu last night and got doggy box w/crabcakes and 2 free cake orders because they waited a long time for a waitress after being seated! (Crabcakes weren't free!) Two evenings in a row of good leftovers! Hope Eggbert doesn't hatch in the rain/snow. Prayers for all on this Sunday~~
Oh, thanks for the information, CarolAnne. I was too lazy to do any baking last night, so that project is on hold for now.
Actually would need to buy some more peanut butter. I would completely deplete the supply.
Oh, that is one wet eagle in the nest. I have been seeing snowflakes flying by, too.
Susan and her friends are in West Virginia kayaking today. Her most recent post said that they are putting on wetsuits. Gracious sakes, I sometimes wonder where she got all of those adventurousness genes.
Morning Kay - I made a mistake yesterday concerning your friend Shirley - I am praying for her son Gary's recovery ( I had said her husband ) Hope they had some good news soon.
Hoda, there was something about Sally Armstrong in the Washington Post in the past week. Think she is/was scheduled to make a book tour stop in D.C. Bet she was interesting.
Yesterdays snow is melting under a sunny 38° w/no wind. Very nice day for walking !
JO, HODA and all who've mentioned Joplin Shirley and her son, Gary--the nurse she spoke to this morning said his vitals are all good range. They've tried to bring him our of the induced coma a couple of times, but he displays far too much agitation. Patience. Don't know how quickly they can resume tests toward heart transplant--just one day at a time. She never fails to say thanks to all for prayers !
LOL, JUDIE ! Sign me up for the WCinA auditions. Who knows, I might even go on to compete for the World Cup ! I actually was a good cook back in the pre-diabetic days when cooking for Stan and the kids. Have lost the urge in my old age.
CAROLANNE, you are a jewel ! Thanks for the Splenda link !
WANDA, when it's time for an overflow---let er' go ! It's healthy to let the tears wash away some of the pain, little by little.
Aw, LORETTA, sorry the Sherry n' Jim visit is over, but glad you had them for a few days !
PAULA, grand to hear Larry is feeling up to shopping, picking out books, etc.. Prayers continue !
LORI, praying for Kate's mom as she begins a new leg of this journey. Here's hoping Kate has a jolly good birthday in spite of her "mom concerns".
SANDI, you and Lisa are working together at a rapid pace. Your mom would be mighty proud of her girls !
THELMA, Buddy must really be feeling his oats--up and at em' mighty early. Hope the two of you get a good nap today !
LOLLY, Ms. Twinkle Toes, must be sitting in church about now. Hope there were many blessings in today's sermon and songs.
Going to take a look at JANET's rainy day projects......
JO n' JUDIE, so kind of you to be on the look out for me. I'm aOK ! Love you for caring !!!
JANET, those signs are really special and are you ever stylin' in that hat ! Talented girl ! My granddog, Malcolm, is a Carolina Dingo and a delightful "guy" to have around. Sounds like your blue heelers are good dogs, too. A little dingo in a dog turns out to be a good thing !
Sandi, amazing how much you have gotten accomplished on your Mom's estate. And yup, those tears will hit you when you least expect them...let them come.
Yes, Shep does look rather miserable, but he's doing a good job. This is a widespread winter redo, effecting all States surrounding the nest and NJ, NY and MI, per my kids. Hope it is the last blast before Real Spring !
JO, thanks for the Dana duckling report. They'll make it in time for our late Easter !
Rain, snow, sleet, high winds and two very restless felines.
Poor Shep. Looks miserable.
Hi Kay! Somehow figured you were/are an excellent chef. You do have a way of making funny molehills into hilarious mountains. Need to look up Carolina Drago.
Paula, wishing you and Larry a pleasant indoor day.
Thank you Lynne2. Was most concerned that you and Steve were actually going out to get herpes. Now need to look up Herps.
SANDI can't you just open up another brower or window and just shrink it like I do
I showed Angie something yesterday You can open up a new tab and drag the tab out in to its own separate window I did it one day by accident funny how you really never stop learning stuff huh
ON LUNCH as if u didn't know
LORI so sorry about Kates mom hope she doesn't linger and stays out of pain Has hospice stepped in yet to manage the pain
so sad when you go on the Fl eagle pages thee is no eaglet in the nest River Farms has snow falling also or rain maybe funny droplets get on the lens and really looks funky
Susan posted that it started full-on snowing at the place she went to kayak. She is now at her boyfriend's uncle's house drinking hot tea. This after spending some time sitting in a truck freezing. Silly girl. She did not ask me if she should go kayaking today.
Oh my gosh, what a wet eagle. Fortunate that they are not fragile.
Some kind of madness going on by my backdoor. I think the squirrels are on the platform feeder. They swing around and it bangs against the door.
Yesterday, I opened the door when two squirrels were there. One ran away, but the other turned around and looked at me. I dropped a walnut on the porch, and the squirrel ran up and grabbed it. :)
Maybe I should buy some peanut butter. Hunter would probably like those cookies.
Occasional snowflakes at the nest seem to have stopped, but still such a sad looking eagle. Keep thinking my cam has stopped as no movement, but no, it is still a going.
Well my deck is covered with snow - Tomorrow - well I keep hearing it will be very warm tomorrow... ♥
Hubby has a virus and is starting to feel a little better. Dr of course gave no meds on Saturday for a virus Reassuring it isn't a flu as we did have shots. I know he is feeling better because his appetite is back.
Oh Shirley - these kids grown up and think they can make their own decisions - Some of mine didn't ask if they could ride the train to NY to root for CT at the basketball game
Thought I was loosing it I went to post pictures and I also noticed it yesterday the March album use to have the pic of the eagle cuddling in the snow as the cover and its changed At first I couldn't find the album because I was looking for the snow pic but then I found it Suilly me
got a snip of the fly in and the only reason is because of the multi cam and the one delayed I missed it on the two but did get it and didn't hear the wings flapping like normal We aren't in Kansas any more LOL NO SOUNd
Just came in from the yard and my ipad had frozen with two eagles in the nest. Wish there was a way to save pictures on my ipad. I actually like watching the cam on the ipad. I think the picture is clearer, more distinct.
I have stopped yard work for the day. Filled two buckets with weeds, that's enough for today!
Lolly, with winds at 10 mph it sure should help dry thin out. The temp is 42° but feels like 37°. There is 40% of precipitation to night. Here in the valley it has stopped snowing/ raining. Tomorrow it will be 64° with clear sky.....
You may be right, Judy as to where the food is stashed. It is dinner feeding... I hope your right because then we can really see them - I don't see anything on the egg yet
Hi Margy - weather was a Hoot today You looked out and it was raining and a minute later the ground was white. Hope you are home for the evening and can relax little
Looking forward to watching the season finale of The Walking Dead tonight! Watched the season finale of When Calls the Heart this afternoon. Just finished a good book, Mr. Owita's Guide to Gardening.
I'm doing a really lousy job of keep up on all things Momsters and Dadsters....might get a chance to "catch up" when I get to my days off....
Always remember: I CARE! Just wish I could show it more!
Kay: Prayers for your Joplin Shirley and all the family...I know these have been some rough few weeks, years...for all.... It is good to read of some recent improvements...hope this continues
I sure hope #3 hatches, and early in the day tomorrow! I don't want him to be too far behind the others! And I pray for a successful, no drama time til fledging! Despite the not so great cam view this year, I feel very blessed that we have it at all, and that after all these 8 years (9?) that the nest is still home to our birds, especially given the condition of the tree.
Went out to pick up prescription and a few other things. Found a few dollars stashed in the house. Decided not to go to the bank or to the bowling place. It is awful out there. Cold rain mixed with snow and wind blowing it all around.
Bought lots of peanut butter and a bag of sugar. Cookie ingredients.
Glad Ed is better and is eating. Hi MARGY...good you are staying in today. I stayed in today too and yet I was at the beach and the gardens and the orchard!!! It is all relative this staying in... Hope SANDI makes a safe trip in her MOM'S card on the highway. I hope we hear from her when she gets there.
I will try the Internet to see if I can find the eagle report on the news.
I thought you all would get a chuckle over this bit of news: We now can buy Happy Pizza in Vancouver if we had permission to use medical marijuana! Yes it has marijuana oil and it takes half an hour to take effect after consumption which should give the diner enough time to get off the roads after dinning out!!! I swear to God I am not making this up!!!LOL!!! Seriously though Cancer patients say it reduces the nausea and the fatigue, the pain...
JUDIE Sally Armstrong was good. She however did not cover the Islamic civilzation and its emphasis on the strong role for women and education. This for me is why the Terrorists will not win after withdrawing the troups. The Islamic Culture has more value of Women and Education and Arts ands Culture than the Terrorists like for us to believe.I almost stood up to speak and then decided it is best to just listen. I learnt a lot...
Well, our warmer weather didn't last long. Had some snow and now it's back to rain~~Yuck. Saw the nest and there were two bobbles and one egg. They looked nice and dry.
Jo, I don't think anyone has VCRs anymore and I don't know of anyone off hand who can use a DVD to record it. It will replay at 11pm. And sometime next week.
I saw that news report tonight. The scene with the aggressive raccoon was dramatic--scary, even when you already know the outcome.
HODA, I always appreciate your sharing your perspective on Egyptian matters. Prayers for the land of your birth ! Incidentally, of all the cab rides I've had the only one I recall vividly was with an Egyptian driver. It was not a long drive from New Brunswick, NJ to Highland Park, but in that time the driver made a lasting impression on me. He loved taking about Egypt and urged me to include it in some future trip to that part of the world. That was about 12 years ago. I won't ever make it to see the Great Pyramids, but I'll never forget the outstanding Egyptian ambassador I spent a few minutes with !
Just as we loaded the furniture and lamps from Mom's that we were planning to take to the Goodwill, it started snowing!! Really snowing! So I had to drive a 15-year old car that I am completely unfamiliar with for 3 hours in that awful weather. After the first hour, the snow changed to rain but it was still a terrible drive home!
Thanks Hoda, for worrying about me. ♥
Guess I'll grab a bowl of cereal for dinner and then head for the bathtub and my own bed. It was an emotional but productive weekend. We will go back in 2 weeks, which is the weekend of Lynnis's shower. I have 7 contractor-size plastic bags with Mom's shoes, purses, clothes, coats, and jackets stacked up in her bedroom closet. I don't think Mom had gotten rid of an article of clothing in 20 years!!
So thankful you checked in SANDI! Blessed Be. I am glad you made a safe trip. Have some protein too please before you get to bed...cereal alone will not sustain you with all the energy you are putting out...
Sandperson is almost finished filling a very large satchel of sleepy dust. Plans to visit the nest to check on the babes. Will go there first. Winds are fierce and says he doesn't want to be blown off course. Other momsters and dadsters to follow.
Nice that the sandperson is not being hassled by the evil Jufie. Any word from her in Russia?
Sandi, glad you are home safe and sound. Hear you on driving a car you are not familiar with, and in bad weather! Hope you have a pleasant week at school!
good evening to all! KAY: thank you! I loved making the signs and the hat! Not familiar with a Carolina Dingo, will have to google!
Bowling season ended tonight. I think we will finish in 11th place (out of 12). So yeah! We re not in last place (for once!). Next week is the banquet. Basically a pot luck. I’ve not gone to that before but will this year.
Okay, now onto more serious matters. I need to have some input. I am considering home schooling Olivia. I would allow her to finish this year @ Lead, but I fully anticipate that she will be in summer school. I know a bit about it, but not a lot, yet. Public school seems to be failing her. She doesn’t seem to be progressing in sylvan. There is no homework. I am not satisfied with public schools here…..am thinking very very seriously about this. Input of any sort, positive or negative would be appreciated. Please and thank you.
Calling it a night. SED to all and thank you in advance for your help!
Glad you made it safely home, Sandi. Sounds as if you got a lot accomplished.
Glad that Ed is better, Jo.
Prayers for Kate's mother.
Mighty windy here. I had a window that had slipped down a bit and was letting cold air in, and the blind on that window has malfunctioned. While reaching under the blind and trying to adjust that window, I knocked over a bottle red wine which spattered all the way across the room. Oh good grief. I think I need a new window, new blinds, and a new carpet. Maybe I will just drink the whole bottle of wine.
Oh, Janet, I don't know. There are probably some homeschooling groups in your community. Maybe you should talk to them. Just keep in mind that you probably will be talking to people who are sold on it. Keep an open mind.
I have always thought that I just would not want to homeschool one of my own children. But I understand your concerns about Olivia.
Will Olivia cooperate with you if you are her teacher? Or will you be fighting a battle every day? You have to think about yourself and your own sanity, too.
Janet home schooling requires effort and motivation. It also prevents socialization. If Olivia is not motivated at school why would you think she would be motivated at home? You and Tom work. Do why would you think leaving her unsupervised for long periods of time at home will improve on her school work! Sorry you are disappointed in the public school system. But seriously do you not think your plate is full enough??? Not sending homework home is not necessarily a bad thing!!! The most successful home school experiences happen with kids who are highly motivated and who need to more challenged! That is not the case with Olivia. I advice against it. With all due respect to you to Olivia and the whole frustrating situation. No disrespect intended. You asked for an honest opinion this is mine! LOVE AND LIGHT TO YOU MY FRIEND'
Just throwing out thoughts. Even though I am very closely associated with the public schools and am usually an advocate for them, my children had issues from time to time.

Kay, positive update on Gary. Hope he and Shirley continue to do well.
Kay, have you considered auditioning for Worst Cooks in America? Maybe you and Shirley could be winners. lol

Thx, Judy and Jo. I did see one of mine in there twice, but couldn't find "delete" under edit. Oh Well. It is what it is! (a mess!)
one bobble head is looking the wrong way to be fed
Jewels informed when she arrived for work, of the second bobblehead...

I missed the feeding, sort of, it's kind of easy to miss!

Picking up music on the cam! Interesting!
Wow, that shinny shiney thing
is rather fascinating on Belle.....
maybe iridescent fish scales from a meal.
Just the only thing I could think of
Lolly, you are the Epitome of
Whirling Dervish...one of our
dear Lynn's favorite expressions!
The nest post card WILL be a spring theme....
There are NO hummingbird stamps at the local post office, must shop around or go on-line for them!
nest = next, sorry , typo time
Janet, Jewels's daughter works
at our local Five-Below Store!
It's quite a place for some neat bargains!
Evening all.
Went to the library in Princess Anne . Got Larry. a library card. We checked out some books. Went to the mall and got Larry some shorts tshirts and a sweatshirt.
Went to Olive Garden and got their $10 dinner ..great deal and good dinner and dessert .
We are going to settle in and watch a movie.
Glad to hear of all the feedings today.
Sounds great, Paula....wow, lots of pretty cool places to shop in your little corner of Paradise
Enjoy your evening, and by the way:

G'Night, Sleep Sweeeeetly, all
OH MY its the shinny garland that has gotten on Belle LOL really odd
got super bright for a second too
Looks like Belle has some kind of extraterrestrial thing on her wing. Is that the shiny thing you are talking about.
Going to have to shut down. I am having some issues with my eyes, and I think I should let them rest.
SED, everyone. I will see you tomorrow.
It's 50 degrees, and raining, and Steve and I have been out looking for spring herpes as these are idel conditions. We didn't find a single thing. In fact, we haven't even heard any peepers or wood frogs or anything around here yet.
It's about that time.
Paula, glad you and Larry had a nice shopping trip and dinner out. Hope the movie's a good one.
Based on my Fifth Amendment rights, I make no comment regarding a shiny garland. Perhaps you all were seeing an aluminum mumbrella.
Hi Margy. Sounds as if you won't have any James the Wise time tomorrow. Well, hugs anyway.
Janet and Lolly stop and rest, please. I get tired just reading about all your activities.
Jo, bet it's raining in your valley and bet Shirley's getting rain further south. Stay dry.
JudyE, hope the storm(s) is over and done.
Lynne2, you and Steve must be the only two people I've met who would actually go out looking for herpes. Laughed out loud, literally.
So, Sandperson is on the way. Will check on Belle and the babes.
Neither sight nor sound from Jufie and her sidekick Shirkey. Perhaps they are being held in Russia.
Night light is on. Restful sleep.
We did find many nightcrawlers which Steve was very excited about. I remember when I was little my dad and I going outside on summer nights with the hose to soak the yard so he could grab some for fishing!
LOL LOL WHY the heck you talking about Willis LOL Herpes I also busted out laughing :-) and what is it not the disease
so odd would love to know what that is on her wing reflective and it does change did you notice that?
I thinkit Judie protest to much LOL
BELLE is up
changed position so now no sparkling Belle
Good late evening ♥
Had quite a lot of rain - also had
a flash of light in the front window and the loudest clap of thunder I've heard in a long time.
As deep as the egg well is I'm sure our little bobbleheads are very dry.
I am ready to say my goodnights to all ♥
Sandi I am so glad everything at your mom's house is falling into place for you and Lisa.
Kay, Prayers for Shirley and hubby's condition to improve.
More prayers for all of us and our friends and loved ones.
Goodnight and God Bless ♥
Getting on to say good night. Manicure and pedicure was on the agenda for tonight. Beautiful day today and again tomorrow, sandal weather. Must have the tootsies presentable. Right, Wanda?
See you all tomorrow. Prayers for so many, pets included.
Hugs all around. Nite! SED!!
Good reports from all Thank You.
Goodnight all
God Bless
Good morning my eagle peeps. Buddy got me up at 4 this morning. I don't think he's getting sick again I think he just woke up early. I can't go back to sleep.
Looks like snow at the nest. (worries)
Good Morning Eagle Buds
Its 41° at the nest too warm to snow
STEVE comments on my shiny Belle picture on the EM fb page
""Steven Chase wet feather surface.""
Goodorming Thelma and all my eagle friends.
EAGLE SWITCH
Oops, good morning Judy. You must have posted while I was typing.
I don't think Belle wants to get up
funny walking around Belle waiting his turn and she is sitting still
He is picking around her now on her side she isn't budging he is picking flug around her body
now he is on the brood
Just saw the switch - 2 little fuzzballs and 1 egg. No feeding that I saw (don’t know how to do the split screen thing on Mom’s Mac).
Good morning eaglet watchers!
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
GOOD MORNING FRIENDS...
It must have rained here all night...still is! Our 2 little fluff balls will be just fine, don't you worry!
As I get ready for church, I thought of all my BIRD PEOPLE because, this morning, a member of our congregation is going to sing "My refuge, my rock in whom I trust!" And He will raise you up on eagles' wings"...a song that means so much to most of us. I know I will cry my heart out (captain Gene and I both loved that hymn). I HATE it when I can't control my tears...which is not very often.
Hope our 3rd eggbert becomes part of the family today:)
HAVE A BLESSED SUNDAY ♥
a fine and dandy good sunday morning to one and all!
the sun is out at my nest, temps are cool, but a warm up is anticipated.
heading out in a bit to check out a tow dolly for the RV.
JUDIE: when I feel well, I flitter from activity to activity. I took great joy in my creative accomplishments yesterday.
need to get moving. here's to (hopefully) bobblehead # 3 today. health, light, and love to all. remember: tears can be healing. blessed be.
okay, posted pix on my blog for those not on facebook if you want to see my rainy day projects. :)
Good morning,
The nest looks very damp this morning, but I know those little ones are warm and dry.
Good to see you here this morning, Wanda and Sandi. I hope today is good for you.
Thinking of Paula's Larry and Kay's friend Shirley and her family.
It rained like crazy here last night. I got up to look out the window about 2:00 AM because it was pouring so hard.
Wanda, don't worry or beat yourself up when you can't control the tears. God is in charge.
Happy Sunday everyone.
So much happening in everyone 's life. Prayers ongoing as always. And we have baby birdies. That's enough to make any day better.
As for the Splenda - sugar question:
http://www.splenda.com/cooking-baking/conversion-charts
It appears its an equal switch. :o)
Wishing everyone a grest day.
(Crabcakes weren't free!)
Two evenings in a row of good leftovers!
Good morning! Very frustrated as I can not get the cam to work this morn. Scream!!!!!!!!
Need to eat a bite and then head to church. They won't know me. :)
Good to see you, CarolAnne. Don't make yourself so scarce!! You always come up with good info!
Gotta run! Lator Gators! Prayers for Wanda. I may think of her in church and start crying myself.
Yes, it is a cold, wet and windy Sunday morning but as it is I still
wish your all a Good Morning ♥
Here is a link to a video from Terri at FB Eagle Cam of this morning's
feeding
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PDTjYzAl1UI
Morning Kay - I made a mistake yesterday concerning your friend Shirley - I am praying for her son Gary's recovery ( I had said her husband ) Hope they had some good news soon.
SNOWING at the nest
Good almost afternoon.
Sandperson sure got me last night. Then Grace crawled under the covers and put a more sleep spell on me.
Rain and looks like some snowflakes at the nest. Very wet mumbrella.
Shirley and Loweeeda, rained throughout the night here and very windy this morning.
Sandi and Wanda, tears are okay.
Loweeda, safe travels for Sherry. Crab cakes making me hungry.
Hi Lori. Glad you've gotten some rest. Study well and pace yourself. We are all so proud of you.
Hello to CarolAnne, Lolly, T-Bird.
Jo, thank you for the video link.
Off for more coffee.
Doing a Margy.
Hoda, there was something about Sally Armstrong in the Washington Post in the past week. Think she is/was scheduled to make a book tour stop in D.C. Bet she was interesting.
Okay, bye.
ON FB Dana mentioned that her classroom ducklings should hatch next Sunday. I told her I hoped they
would all make it! ♥
There is a lunch feeding but the tail is in the way
Doing another Margy.
Was just checking some other cams.
Big Red at Cornell looks so awful. Feathers covered in ice. She and Ezra also have three eggs.
Oh, where's Kay? OMG, she might be buried under a mountain of Splenda molehills. Kay, let us know you're okay.
Bye
Now you can see our eaglets as Belle is in the NHZ
I'm looking for Kay too.
Good Afternoon, Eagle Buds !!!
Morning...oops, afternoon all!
Just got finished brunch...french toast and sausage :)
We had a lovely evening...watched Dallas Buyers Club. Another good flick!
Yes, Larry is an avid reader. He is way ahead of me in the book count!
We are staying in today...20mph winds, gusting to 30mph here today. Boy are the waves rolling in. Happy to watch them from a distance.
Got laundry going and getting stuff cleaned up/picked up/put away today.
Margy, thanks for all the cards :) Between you and his sisters, he gets plenty of mail, LOL
Hoping to see the next feeding...haven't seen one yet. Eagle looks miserable, but gald to see Shep keeping the babes warm and dry.
Sandi, amazing how much you have gotten accomplished on your Mom's estate. And yup, those tears will hit you when you least expect them...let them come.
Lowreeda, enjoy the visit with the kids!
Taking a late lunch break BBL
PGH eagles had a second hatch this AM!
HERPES?? OMG!!! The CORRECT word should have been HERPS. DUH!
This rain followed by some really warm temps in the next few day should finally get things to bloom!
LOL Lynne2 (glad your DUH is gone)
What are herps?
Hoping to see things pop here this week...calling for the 70's down here.
Tried to google herps...all I get is herpes, LOL
Rain, snow, sleet, high winds and two very restless felines.
Poor Shep. Looks miserable.
Hi Kay! Somehow figured you were/are an excellent chef. You do have a way of making funny molehills into hilarious mountains. Need to look up Carolina Drago.
Paula, wishing you and Larry a pleasant indoor day.
Thank you Lynne2. Was most concerned that you and Steve were actually going out to get herpes. Now need to look up Herps.
BBL
amphibians and reptiles...the study of is herpetology.
Lynne2, did you mean "herbs"? Google says herps = herpes. lol
I'm baaaaack! Cam is now working and I see snow falling and a very bedraggled eagle. Shake off and then looking down again, staring at a dead fish!
They did know me at church, got me some good hugs. Pastor Mike called me Louise...kidding with me!
Now to do some house cleaning and tomorrow I have some shopping to do to get ready for our next adventure.
Twinkle toes? LOL I did wear heeled sandals to church!
Lynne might have to go back to LynneDuh!!
Looked up Carolina Dingo. Beautiful breed.
Snowing at our house. Grrrrrr!
Do so wish the weather would warm up and stay that way.
I know the eagles know what to do but this weather makes me anxious for the eaglets.
Lynne2, were you and Steve looking for reptiles and amphibians with herpes? Weird.
OK People....
when you google, google herps and hit search, not any of the highlighted stuff that comes up as a suggestion.
SANDI can't you just open up another brower or window and just shrink it like I do
I showed Angie something yesterday You can open up a new tab and drag the tab out in to its own separate window I did it one day by accident funny how you really never stop learning stuff huh
ON LUNCH as if u didn't know
LORI so sorry about Kates mom hope she doesn't linger and stays out of pain Has hospice stepped in yet to manage the pain
so sad when you go on the Fl eagle pages thee is no eaglet in the nest
River Farms has snow falling also or rain maybe funny droplets get on the lens and really looks funky
and now both eaglets are back at the NE nest must have been on the branch
the eaglets at BW look like they are hugging each other
right now the RF nest the lens has a water drop on it and sort of like a trick mirror The adults head looks so huge
One of my neighbors mentioned sleet here. I have not see it--oh my gosh, I see snow!!!
Mostly rain, but some snowflakes, too.
Susan posted that it started full-on snowing at the place she went to kayak. She is now at her boyfriend's uncle's house drinking hot tea. This after spending some time sitting in a truck freezing. Silly girl. She did not ask me if she should go kayaking today.
Do have to go to the pharmacy today. Maybe I'll put the bowling stuff in the car. Also want to hit the ATM for some cash.
Apologies, Lynne, see that you explained. You just have to spell it out for us....duh!
Have mopped kitchen and bathrooms as well as patio. Now to finish cleaning our bathroom and I am finished and heading outside. 78 and sunny here!
BBL.
Oh, two adult bedraggled eagles!!
I see two bobble heads and an egg. Feeding going on!!!
Oh, so sweet!! Loving it!!!
I have taken two pics! See no pip in the egg.
Feeding goin on now, shep was blocking the view...flew off to the right
Eagle back and covering up...looks like Shep...probably had to get the wet off his wings. Chicklets all tucked in. Couldn't see any pip.
Nor I, Paula. I went full screen but could not see anything. Posted pictures on fb. Now off..to finish my house cleaning!
Well my deck is covered with snow -
Tomorrow - well I keep hearing it will be very warm tomorrow... ♥
Hubby has a virus and is starting to feel a little better. Dr of course gave no meds on Saturday for a virus
Reassuring it isn't a flu as we did have shots. I know he is feeling better because his appetite is back.
Oh Shirley - these kids grown up and think they can make their own decisions - Some of mine didn't ask if they could ride the train to NY to root for CT at the basketball game
Back again.
Lori, see that Kate's mom is not well. Prayers.
Jo, glad no flu virus and Mr. Jo has some appetite again. Maybe a good night for hot soup and a hot toddy.
Lolly, please stop cleaning. Makes me feel like a derelict.
Shirley, if you go bowling, have a good practice.
Still snowing here. Not sticking except on trees, cars, grass.
See a sadly bedraggled eagle in the nest.
Home from work
Eagle up and doing some adjusting and I saw egg and one baby and I see another stick on Belle
more of flugg instead of stick and she got it
she sure is restless another adjustment in cup
I noticed it was some what windy but not hearing it on cam I wonder if we lost sound again Anyone notice today if they heard sound????????
and Lolly heard music or talking last night and that usually means we lost sound I wonder if there is a reset button for it
Thought I was loosing it I went to post pictures and I also noticed it yesterday the March album use to have the pic of the eagle cuddling in the snow as the cover and its changed At first I couldn't find the album because I was looking for the snow pic but then I found it Suilly me
Eagle alone fly in
got a snip of the fly in and the only reason is because of the multi cam and the one delayed I missed it on the two but did get it and didn't hear the wings flapping like normal We aren't in Kansas any more LOL NO SOUNd
EAGLE IS CALLING OUT I SEE BEAK OPEN BUT NO SOUND
CAM SHAKES EAGLE IN
Just came in from the yard and my ipad had frozen with two eagles in the nest. Wish there was a way to save pictures on my ipad. I actually like watching the cam on the ipad. I think the picture is clearer, more distinct.
I have stopped yard work for the day. Filled two buckets with weeds, that's enough for today!
Belle is looking good in the nest. I think she has dried out a bit. The wind should do it!
Lolly, with winds at 10 mph it sure should help dry thin out. The temp
is 42° but feels like 37°. There is 40% of precipitation to night. Here in the valley it has stopped snowing/
raining. Tomorrow it will be 64° with clear sky.....
Wow The cupboard is bare at the nest.. Some pretty big eaters and I
hope more fishes are brought in for
late night snacks......
FEEDING
I guess they have food in the NHZ since we don't see any in the pantry and They are being feed
ABC World News Tonight this evening will have a eagle nest Pittsburgh feature
World news has just covered the
Pittsburgh Bald Eagles - started with the attack by the raccoon - excellent photos and reports from locals.
http://www.ustream.tv/channel/pittsburgh-bald-eagles
Do you know what time that show comes on Lynne?
Lori, I see Kate's mom is not doing well. I'm so sorry to hear that. Will say an extra prayer.
both are being feed reaching up so stink cute
Lynne aka grannyblt - Your PA nest
is now known worldwide! Did you like the coverage as well as I did?
Nest cup looks pretty well fortified.
It was one crazy weather day, and it is not over yet.
Neither Carolyn nor I could really
keep a good look on, but I see the TWO now and the one egg....
Good Evening Eagle Pals...
JO: Hope Ed feels much much better very soon....I think he has a good
Nurse Mate :)
xo
getting lots of snips
You may be right, Judy as to where the food is stashed. It is dinner
feeding... I hope your right because
then we can really see them - I don't see anything on the egg yet
Drat! I missed the Pittsburgh Eagle Show already ??
DANG! I missed it?
Lynne - the news was on at 6:00
but it may get repeated later....
full and now back on them
Hi Margy - weather was a Hoot today
You looked out and it was raining and a minute later the ground was white. Hope you are home for the evening and can relax little
OK, thanks Jo. How is Ed this evening?
Yes, Jo, home and in PJs already !
Sad to read of Kate's Mother...
hoping and praying for peaceful and comforting moments in the days to come....
Wanda....We encircle you in
Prayers and Love....always....
and I'll see You Tuesday afternoon....
xoxox
There are 3 videos in the comments on the Live feed from Deb Stecyk from today - very very enjoyable.
Hubby is good - he asked for a
steak dinner! ♥ A good sign of recovery - very tired of soup and/or
scrambled eggs.
Good to hear! Hope he enjoys that steak!
Still snowing like crazy here. Sideways, mostly. Turning to slush on the ground. Going to be a beautiful next few days although windy tomorrow.
Looking forward to watching the season finale of The Walking Dead tonight! Watched the season finale of When Calls the Heart this afternoon. Just finished a good book, Mr. Owita's Guide to Gardening.
http://www.wtae.com/news/Egg-hatches-in-bald-eagle-s-Pittsburgh-nest/25221496
This on is bout the 1st egg hatch
Still searching for the raccoon section....
LYNNE 2 Does that mean for sure you will change that gruesome avatar on FB after tonight's show?
I'm doing a really lousy job
of keep up on all things Momsters and Dadsters....might get a chance to "catch up" when I get to my days off....
Always remember: I CARE!
Just wish I could show it more!
Kay: Prayers for your Joplin Shirley and all the family...I know these have been some rough few weeks, years...for all....
It is good to read of some recent improvements...hope this continues
xoxo Can't sit right now, have
"computer body"
ttfn xoxox (( Hugs and Lovins' ))
I sure hope #3 hatches, and early in the day tomorrow! I don't want him to be too far behind the others! And I pray for a successful, no drama time til fledging! Despite the not so great cam view this year, I feel very blessed that we have it at all, and that after all these 8 years (9?) that the nest is still home to our birds, especially given the condition of the tree.
Yes JO! We will not see me in the Zombie picture until next October when the season starts again!
Thank you - now I can start reading your post ... lol
The link for the newscast is at
6:53 pm
Copy and paste & enjoy
I have posted a video of the pigs on FB! I just love them!
FLY AWAY to the right
and we are back
and we are back
I found it Lynne under your FB page
Adorable...... ♥
lol Lynne - Chuckie got him
Went out to pick up prescription and a few other things. Found a few dollars stashed in the house. Decided not to go to the bank or to the bowling place. It is awful out there. Cold rain mixed with snow and wind blowing it all around.
Bought lots of peanut butter and a bag of sugar. Cookie ingredients.
Tucking in at the nest
That one branch is in the way
Winds are up
Glad Ed is better and is eating.
LOVE THE COLOR OF THE NEST PRETTY
Going to Jeopardy
Thank you JO for the link. Very happy to have watched the segment.
Well, our warmer weather didn't last long. Had some snow and now it's back to rain~~Yuck.
Saw the nest and there were two bobbles and one egg. They looked nice and dry.
Those pigs are rescues that live here Jo!
the unthinkable has happened.
One hour til my show and the satellite is OUT. STUPID STUPID WEATHER!!!
I'll have a slice of HAPPY PIZZA please. And a special brownie....
Hoping to hear from WANDA that it went well for her in Church today.
One slice of happy Pizza is on its way to you LYNNE.
Sorry about the satellite.
Do take down the avatar though please...it is horrid
that avatar doesn't come down til I SEE MY SHOW!!!
There wasn't any Jeopardy - It is Sun
Lynne - will someone tape the show for you........?
Happy Pizza
Someone is sure thinking out the
financial benefits of this new era.
I guess you have to have a note from
your doctor before you order..
I am getting so amused at all these
new changes and some of the headline
news cracks me up -If I didn't have that reaction I would be put away.
Are you baking cookies tonight, Shirley?
LYNNE2, I'll bet someone will put it on YouTube, unless there is an ABC restriction against that.
Um, guess what? I have a VCR.
Kay - the link I put from the site for ABC News didn't contain the
raccoon attack - I searched but
couldn't find it. Probably is on FB
Lynne - you may be able to watch it
online tomorrow....You have to find out who i NOT coming back... :(
All I know is that I am going to watch THE GOOD WIFE... need to see the aftermath of Will's death.
With that said - BBL
I think the ABC anchor said something about, "watch it again tomorrow morning on GMA".
Yep, gotta go catch The Good Wife, too !
Love and prayers for all !
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Hi all - what a white knuckle trip home - yikes!!
Goodnight all.
So thankful you checked in SANDI!
Blessed Be.
I am glad you made a safe trip.
Have some protein too please before you get to bed...cereal alone will not sustain you with all the energy you are putting out...
Sandi, glad you have a safe, if challenging, drive home.
Time to say Good Night,
Precious Pals
I have Each and Every one of us,
and our Loved Ones.....
in My Prayers....taking them to bed
with me now
God Bless Us,
Every One xoxox
Nest is dark and quiet.
Sandperson is almost finished filling a very large satchel of sleepy dust. Plans to visit the nest to check on the babes. Will go there first. Winds are fierce and says he doesn't want to be blown off course. Other momsters and dadsters to follow.
Night light is on. Restful sleep for all.
Nice that the sandperson is not being hassled by the evil Jufie. Any word from her in Russia?
Sandi, glad you are home safe and sound. Hear you on driving a car you are not familiar with, and in bad weather! Hope you have a pleasant week at school!
It is cold in the evenings here.
I will say Good night and God Bless.
Sleep well everyone.
I have not been able to keep track of Jufie....I don't think this is a good thing.

Pittsburgh Hayes newscast video
(This on has the raccoon in it)
Glad you got home ok in Mom's car and that the windshield wipers were working for you. Weather must have been miserable.
I am ready for that sandman..
Healing prayers for all in need...
Prayers for Kate's mom to reach her position up in the heavenly glory.
Goodnight to all ♥
Sweet Eagle Dreams
good evening to all!
I see homeschooling people at the bowling alley here. They use one of the meeting rooms for classes.
