Thank you, Sharon ! Not surprised to hear LYNN is doing well. She will be stoic about this and will understand it all medically better than anyone. Stoic and full of grace, that's our LYNN.
I am here LINDA and have been for a while trying to collect myself and understand what all this news might mean.I pray and that is all I know how to do...my heart is heavy and while we all keep saying it is not the news we wanted to hear, it is the news we have got and we must work with that...A Dear Gracious Lady is being tested and you are not alone LYNN...We ar eall here for you and we will go through this together
Am home, just wanted to also mention it may not be good idea to send cards to Hosp.We sent a card to friend Danny at Hosp. & he got it 2 or more months later at home!
I have to cook veggies in stock from roast cooked last night. I'm not hungry. Will keep praying.
Have looked up adenocarcinoma. Seems that once the pathology tests come back, there will be more definition as to treatment, etc. It is a complicated disease as it can affect different organs. Wish I knew more how to describe it. Will continue prayers.
Thank you Pauls for the candle site.Doing something like that makes you feel like you are doing something positive, doesn't it?
When LYNN said cards only, she asked that they be sent to the house. I can vouch for the fact that things sent to a hospital don't always get delivered in a timely manner and sometimes not at all !
Checking back in for a moment before I really have to go.....
HODA - I felt your presence and knew your silence was because you were graciously praying and meditating. It's who you are and I'm thankful we have you.
It is SO HUGE that Lynn is breathing okay on her own and that her lungs are good. Thank you God for that.
As you all have said, Lynn will be strong and stoic, but sometimes knowing as much as she does about these things can be very difficult.
That is where we come in. WE can wrap her with our love and support and hold her hand every step of the way.....
I must go for now, but will check back in when everyone leaves tonight.
Well, if you don't hear from me, I've just had another disappearing post, so you'll know what happened. I will still be thinking of and praying for Lynn.
I'm here. I cannot believe the news. I lit my candle, changed my profile picture, post a not on Lynn's FB wasll, cried, have prayed. Wish we were all in the same place physically.
OMG! A rattle snake has been caught in a second grade class room about 100 miles west of here. It bit a boy last week. He is okay. It took several days to catch the snake. Children in the meantime are going to school else where and are to come back after Thanksgiving after all possible crawley holes are patched. Teacher has requested a move to another room. Duh!
Margy, thank you so much for taking down all of the information for us.
So glad Judie is going to see here and give her hugs from all of us!
I am anxious for updates as we all are. I hope and pray that if Lynn has NOT been told yet, that she can be kept from getting online. She mentioned in an email to me that she hoped to be able to contact us herself this evening. I can't imagine she would be up to that.....It wouldn't do for her to read the momster email or the blog is she doesn't yet know what we already do......
I know our thoughts are with Lynn, but thought I would offer this:
Presto is an email mailbox (like an incoming fax machine) for someone (usually elderly) who can't cope with using a computer, but still would like to be included in emails (my Mom has one). No internet is needed. It only receives - no sending. Right now they are offering (CODE: HOL2011) a free mailbox (actually a printer-usually $149.00). If interested check out Presto.com
good point Lynne.... I did ask Carolyn if she wanted me to post the information on the blog...and she said yes...
I think that if Lynn is able to be aware, she will absolutely demand to know.... I don't want to use up to much battery time on Caro's phone, but I will slip her a text message...about that, okay? Thanks, level-headed one ! xoxo ♥
Well, I came home from work, took the dogs out, left the grosseries all over the kitchen and came right here for an update. So, I need to get my poop in a group, feed the critters, put the grosseries away and get dinner started. And finish laundry.
There is no way that LYNN will not know everything the minute she wakes up and talks to her daughters. They will tell her and she will put its meaning together. I am struggling and wished she was here to let me know what it all means. Googling things is NO HELP AT ALL!!!I WIshED LYNN WaS aT THE BLOG RIGHT NOW TO EXPLAIN IT BETTER...LOVE YOU LYNN♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
I read JUDIE's post...I will follow with all and delete anything that needs to be deleted. I will await word from JUDIE.I wished I was able to visit too.
I am getting up from this chair and taking a shower. About to cough my crazy head off with this sinus yuk!! I will be checking in and out. Ya'll holler if you hear anything!
"Mom's in her room and is sleeping, just got situated within the last 30 mins. Judie is on the way"
...from Carolyn.... Caro also stated that although the doctor/s have not talked to her Mother yet, she and Christie have related some of the information, and they are encourging her to rest, so I think Lynn won't be on-line tonight...
She read what I posted and said it's okay...
but thanks for that sensible thought, Lynne2, and Judie also
I have killed off my wireless mouse. The thingy that goes into the computer is broken and part of it is still in there. Yuck! Sorry that I do not remember the names of those parts.
I am using a wired mouse now. I will need to purchase a new wireless one. I have been wondering why it was not working very well. Now I know. Figured it out when it stopped completely, and I tried to remove the thingy. It came out in pieces.
Hmm, no a potato would not work. Tweezers would be okay, but . . . I am seeing two little red things that I think don't belong.
But at first, I thought the little green thing didn't belong, then I saw one like it in the other USB ports.
Yeah . . . I kind of think you can just buy another USB port if necessary, but that's were the computer-savvy sons come in. I will need them if it comes to removing and replacing stuff.
MARGY, thanks for providing relay service ! CAROLYN aka JEWELS must be very much like her mother, well organized and strong. LYNN raised a jewel ! Wonder if Jewels or Christie or both are staying with Lynn for the night. Maybe JUDIE will include such info in her report. So glad we have a Momster that close at hand !!!! We each wish it were us, but we are well represented in JUDIE.
SHIRLEY, you are being entirely too technical---"little red things", "little green thing". Please bring it down a notch or two to my level of understanding ! ☺
As to USB ports and such, I have no idea what a potato would do with a broken light bulb???Someone do tell me...I imagine putting it over the broken glass section but will it turn to remove it from the socket?
SHIRLEY I see where the wireless mouse would be useful in a classroom. Good on you.
LYNNE I laughed, I store my containers and the lids in different piles so I have not had this problem...but I am embarrassed to say I went to the toilet in the middle of the night one time and went to sit and met with the toilet lid!!! I had put folded bath towels on it earlier the night and forgot to move the lid off...Thank God I managed to control myself though in time!!! LOL
Yes, Hoda, you have the right idea about the use of a potato. But, first, make sure the light is turned OFF. Might get a fried potato if you do not. Not to mention what might happen to you.
Well, decorating your ports before Thanksgiving is SO not right....
Hoda, I tried doing that, lids and containers separately, but they would all fall over and blah blah blah....LOL! Oh, and I just had that same issue with the, uh, throne, in the "nature room" the other night! SO very annoying! Brother Cat has been spending most of his time in the house now, including at night. He thinks the toilet is a playground so we have to keep the lid down.
There is no end to the rotten things that cat does.....
OK, I have heard that about the potato, but still, potatoes are moist and it would seem like you'd better turn off the whole circuit first, not just the light?
Okay, I got really confused about all of the posts about dish lids and toilet lids.
Read back. Now I am unconfused.
Kathryn has organized my storage container cabinet. First, she Freecycled all of my stuff. Then she put in her stuff. She has a lid holder that is really great.
Kathryn went to a bunch of Tupperware parties and even got to take a free run through the Tupperware lady's storage unit. She has a lifetime supply of the stuff.
I really only use tweezers for stickers, and splinters.... just pretending I was an old hand at any other tricks... I think [almost?] worse yet is to plunk down on a "throne" whose "seat" has been left "up" like men do..but I can't exactly say I have had the problem recently ☺
sometimes I reach for a coffee cup that I have actually put upside down in the cupboard, and start, almost start, to pour coffee into it... ouch that could be a mess... somehow I catch it just in time
Wow, SHIRLEY, does Kathryn know there is big money to be made in organizing closets, cabinets, etc. for rich people ? I say rich because right now they are the only folks who can afford such services. We have a friend in NJ who is making a bundle decorating baby and kiddie rooms for wealthy couples. A little creativity goes along way in this economy, you just have to think of something to market to the 1% !
thankfully, Stubby NEVER leaves the seat up!!! What a guy! There was a conversation once...
Steve: why does the man have to do all the work with the toilet seat? Why can we just leave it up, and the WOMEN have to put it down when THEY need to go? AND put it back up?
Lynne: Well, dear, when they start making toilets that look nice with the seat up, we'll talk.
a lovely girlfriend of one of Wanda's grandsons...does that..the organizing service.. as a side business while she is getting her degree in education ☺
I'm glad to hear other people do some stumbling and bumbling things, too. Saturday evening I filled Seth's milk glass, set it in the fridge and set the half gallon of milk on his placemat. He had a big laugh over that one, but then, so did I !
And Kay, I agree 100% with what you have said about Lynne's daughters, AND...they are beautiful to boot! Soon Christie will be making a schedule to do the Concert of the Hand Bells around Christmas time
I LOVE to organize! Several years ago, Labor Day weekend, I organized and cleaned my friend Wendy's room. She is a slob. Always has been. I spent the better part of a day cleaning, rearranging, sorting...it was PERFECT! She said, oh if you do this for me, it will be so easy for me to keep it this way and I'll NEVER let this happen again.
By Thanksgiving day, she wouldn't even allow me to look in her room.
Glad some of you live close enough to contribute to the Clothes Closet and Food Kitchen. Nice to be a part of the work Wanda and Gene do for their church and community. Good on you !!!!!
Lynne You probably saw....my NY pal says the Tundra Swans are on the move this way...flying high.... those from his area (near Lake Erie) seem to head towards the Chesapeake Bay and NC coastal areas
MARGY, LYNNE, can you describe the sound a Tundra Swan makes ? I don't think I've ever heard one. We're directly south of Lake Erie, too, but I don't think they like flying over ☼HI☼.
Well, Kay, it is a rather haunting, almost bleating sound, hooo hoooo hoooo sound but not like an owl... sometimes even sounds like little doggies barking.... I think someone will offer a link to that sound....maybe Lynne2 - I'm not sure I can, let me go see
Too funny. When I take the dogs out to go "potty" and the first one squats and I say "good girl/boy" the other two automatically squat as well! Oh how they need my praise! LOL! But at least I know they all went!
Java is very stubborn and will come back into the house without going. Last winter we had trouble with her "wetting" the bed at night. I actually think it was an incontinence issue. When Annemarie takes them out she gets very frustrated when Java won't "go" for her! ☺ Believe it or not, I don't think my labs like the wet grass!
Lynn knows the cancer was not fully resolved by the surgery. Christie and Carolyn will talk with Lynn tomorrow with details. Better from her family than the blog.
While she does not have Internet access tonight, she was fussing about wanting to get on the blog even when I was there.
She is understandably tired but she was alert and laughing albeit a bit put out with her less than Waldorf Astoria accommodations. She's also pissed because she can only have clear liquids and she's hungry. She looks good. Her "do" is done just so and her color is good. She was beginning to nod off so I gave her another hug and kiss and left her to sleep.
She should be up tomorrow to begin moving around. I told her I plan to make another visit tomorrow about mid-day.
Sure wish I had checked the latest posts so I could have told her that Margie is getting wired up by Tom Sweetie. Woo Hoo.
That is a wonderful site, gals ! I've saved it to Favorites. Yes, I'm sure I've heard the swans and thought it to be geese ! I'm very near a major river, but so surrounded by trees that I can't see much of anything unless "it" lands in a tree nearby. In the old days here I lived just as close to the major river running through Columbus, but there, too, among large trees. I often hear birds I can't see--frustrating !
DanaMo, incontinence in spayed female dogs is very common. Usually they'll rule out a UTI first, but there is a very effective medication to control it.
Yes, she was on medication last year. We do think she had a UTI. She was treated for it twice. We are very careful to make sure she "goes" before bed each night, it hasn't happened in quite some time. But when it does she just gets up from sleeping and there is a big wet spot so I know it is not intentional.
JUDIE, thank you for telling us about your visit ! Happy to hear LYNN is feeling good enough to be pissed off about some things ! Will look forward to another report after your visit tomorrow ! We are so lucky to have you there. Get some good rest now !
Now that we have that news I'm ready to move on toward the TV and then on to a night of rest. No storms to keep me awake this night !
A little while ago Hugh arrived at the back door bearing two nice servings of homemake LaSagna. He and Julie made it for a parent/teacher night at the school. The PTA supplies dinner for the teachers and I got some, too ! No question about what's for dinner the next two nights !
Will be praying for LYNN and all in need. Hoping all of you have a good night and pleasant dreams !
Thanks so much Judie for your report on our precious Lynn! God is good. All the time. This I know for sure. I love you all like people I have know my whole life. There is a special bond on this blog and I am so grateful to be part of it. I don't get on as much as I used to because I get so far behind in work when I do and when I get off of work, I am not at this desk very much. But, don't mistake that for me not loving you all. Because I do. Good night my friends! Peaceful rest for all, especially Hedgie! That is one fine woman!!
JUDIE, thank you for the report on LYNN. And she worried about how she would look. Great report...WELL they had better have a ROYAL BREAKFAST for her tomorrow is all I have to say. Her daughters are real Princesses and I am glad they told her about the situation and will tell her more tomorrow.PRAYERS FOR THEM ALL.
Kay, my mental map of Columbus is not what it was, but I do remember the two major rivers that pass through there--the Scioto and the Olentangy. Not sure which one you are near.
Yuk! Clear liquids! The broth is okay, but please, nothing sweet. Please, no Jello. I can eat it when I am not in the hospital, but not when I am recovering from surgery.
Forgot to mention offered Carolyn and Christie food and lodging but they have friends nearby and that they are both beautiful ladies. It was just a treat to meet them both. Only wish it had not been in the hospital.
Restful sleep for all. Will report tomorrow afternoon.
Bible Study is over and I'm back to check on what is going on.
Thank You Judie for reporting about your visit with Lynn. So happy to hear she is alert and not too pleased with her diet choices! That is a good sign.
I am sure you brought all our love, hugs and good wishes with you!
Continuing to keep Lynn in prayer hoping she rests well tonight and is without any pain.
I can received E_M mail, but can’t answer it. So I really appreciate you letting me know and also it allows me to reply so the others might know why I’m not able to send mail at the moment. Lynn has been in my prayers and will continue to be. I will add her to our church prayer list tonight. Just got a notice from Facebook that I have messages... Bless all of you. Together we will help Lynn fight this battle!
Sissy - You're so right about the special bond on this blog and your love shines through!! Personally I wish you had the time to blog a little more so I could chat with you, but just from reading your posts, I already love you!! You're always there when support is needed! xoxo
Dear Judie, thank you so much for the report and for representing all of us. You are a gem! Since it has been determined that gin is a clear liquid, Judie should take some along tomorrow!!☺ I'm glad to hear of Lynn's fighting spirit.
Prayers and ((((HUGS)))) to all, extras for Lynn and Bev & Tom.
Hoping the Sandman will help us drift into peaceful sleep ^j^
Since we're not expecting any further news tonight, we are going to turn in. I have to work tomorrow, but will do my best to check in and see how Lynn is doing throughout the day.
God is with us. He is in control. His amazing grace will see Lynn through whatever she has to face.
May God Bless Lynn and give her peace...
May God Bless and protect us all and the critters we so dearly love... xoxo ♥♥♥
Hello all.... Christie and I are at her friends.Mom was resting semi comfortably. We are so thankful for all of your prayers. We are aiming to be at the hospital by 8am...we want to talk to the dr in the morning. We are heading to bed.... If I can't sleep, I wil be back. Hugs and liove, xoxo
JEWELS thank you so much. I hope you two can get some sleep. You did a terrific job today and I am so grateful that LYNN had the good sense to have you two...YOUR MAMA IS THE BEST. We are all rooting for her. HUGS and SWEET DREAMS. Yes do come back to the blog if you need to for lack of sleep...
OH WOW...with all else going on I completely forgot about the live cam being up! YAY! I hear soft clunking, and the nest is BRIGHT then DARK....clouds must be passing over the moon!
My mom is the best! She raised us up to be honest, careing, loving, giving people. It is because of her, I am who I am. You all are the best friends she could ever have..again thankyou!!! Tty in the morning. With love, Carolyn
Have read the blog quickly. I just knew I was going to miss a lot of good, entertaining conversation tonight. But, you know, I was with two very dear friend tonight and they asked about Lynn first thing. I had asked for prayer for her at a meeting last week and Mary remembered the surgery was today.
Judie, thanks for going to see Lynn and thanks for a wonderful report. Having Judie smuggle in gin tomorrow sounds like a great idea!
Interesting conversation concerning toilet seats. lol Lynne, I LOVED your reasoning with Steve. I never had a clever comeback like that, but I let Jack know I do not like lids up and he always puts it down.
We love all of you and are thinking of you! Lynn, you have some wonderful daughters! Thank you Carolyn for keeping us posted...you can see how much we love your Mama!
You were talking about making money being an organizer. I know a young lady in Baltimore who with a friend started a business doing just that. "My Girl Friday" is their business. They do about every thing but one of their best things is organizing.
Saying good night and hope you all sleep well. It has been a prayerful day and even though the road ahead will be rough, I know we will support our special friend, Lynn and help her through this recovery. ♥♥♥♥♥♥
Good Evening, Everyone, Feels mighty good to be back here. My computer is pretty well straightened out, after running a major scan for viruses, and a tune-up! Earthlink is running again, too.
Judie, thank you SO MUCH for going to visit Lynn, and thanks for passing along all our hugs and love! Rest well tonight, and actually, I think it would be a hoot if you managed to smuggle in some "clear liquid" for our Lynn!
Went to the Anaheim Coves dedication today, and it is quite amazing what they've done with the place. It's 14 acres of wildlife preserve, especially dedicated to endangered water birds. It's within walking distance of my roost, so will plan on going there often. There are bike and walking and equestrian trails, benches to sit on, informative signage, water fountains, and recycle and trash cans along the way. Quite a difference from the old "Burris Sand Pit" of the 1980s. It used to be a huge hole in the sand, with water in the bottom, and lots of pond scum. Now it's beautiful! Saw lots of Great Blue Herons, Egrets, various types of seagulls, pelicans, and even hummingbirds! They weren't close enough to get good pictures--too many people. But there will be lots of photo ops in the future. The land was acquired by the Orange County Water District, and will be used as a groundwater recharge basin, as well as a wildlife habitat. I took a few pictures, and will change out my avatar in the next few days and share them.
I am heading to bed now. You are so right, Jo! We will be here to support Lynn. I feel so helpless so far away. Would love to prepare her a meal, visit her, hug her, whatever! Now...pray...that I can do!!!
Night all! Nite Lynn...thinking of you! (((hugs)))
ANDY It is good that the opening went well and that there is this wonderful park to go see the birds. Thanks for sharing it and look forward to the pictures in the future when there are not so many people there.
Have said prayers for everyone here, but especially for Lynn, and for Carolyn and Christie. We will all stick together and get Lynn through the healing process. Lord, you know how much we all love her, and her girls! (((Group Hug!))) Well, think I'll call it a day. Making sure the porch light is on. Enabling the security systems. Sleep tight, everyone! God bless, and good night. Love each and every one of you SOOOOOO much! :o]
Fear thou not; for I am with thee; be not dismayed; for I am thy God; I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10 ~ GOOD NIGHT MY FRIENDS WISHING FOR A GOOD NIGHT'S REST SO MANY PRAYERS BEING SAID TONIGHT
WANDA I am missing your posts. It is the second one you have deleted and it is important to hear from you...Much love to you and the Captain. How did the day go today at the store? With GG? WIth your own dealing with the emotional time on the blog... I miss your posts.
I am praying that the nurses are all awake and strong and full of compassion as they check on our LYNN and may they keep her comfortable and look after her well. It is almost one twenty in the morning there and I hope they are not too busy tonight...Thank you GOD for guiding them to assist our LYNN in any way she needs.
We are headed for a SPLIT first thing in the morning to the cooffe group....HA!!! I hope you have strong coffee and not get stuck in the split...THREE MORE POSTS MAKE THE SPLIT.
Judie so glad you was able to be at the hospital to represent all of us and give our hugs to Lynn, Carolyn and Christie. Thanks big ((((((((((hugs)))))))))))
Trying to help get the Morning Club through the split so they won't have to loose anyone. Plus they will have a clear lane for an eagle visit in the AM.
This one should do it Moring club. Hope this was helpful.
Wanda glad to see you dropped in with your special Godly words. Thank you for them.
My candle still burns and my prayers for tonight. Is that Carolyn, Christie and Lynn get some good rest. May Our Lord Grant Them Rest.
Judie if you take any of that "clear Liquid" to the hospital tomorrow. You are NOT allowed to have any....REMEMBER you are driving lol If you give much to Lynn...oh my I can see it now. Nurses chasing her as she has a heavy foot and has that wheelchair speeding down the hallways. Well at least no tickets for that run away travelin wheelchair.
We have such a wonderful group on this blog. Even those that can't or don't blog are included in that remark. I love you all ....YOUR LIKE A FAMILY TO ME!!!
Prayers also for Sissy & Tom and all the family there during this time of the year.

«Oldest ‹Older 201 – 400 of 569 Newer› Newest»I just sent Carolyn a text to see if the extubation went okay and she said it did and Lynn is doing well. So good to hear.
LORI, thanks, I spotted it now, could't see it when the nest still had color on. Strange !
That's great. Thank you Sharon.
Thank you Judie, for giving Lynn all those hugs from us.
I have an evening meeting, will check back later.
Thank you, Sharon ! Not surprised to hear LYNN is doing well. She will be stoic about this and will understand it all medically better than anyone. Stoic and full of grace, that's our LYNN.
I totally agree with you Kay, stoic and full of grace.
And we don't know yet whether the live feed is ahead of or behind the still cam!
I'm here and frantically searching for word on Lynnn......
I'm reading posts that I don't want to read....what happened?????? I'm afraid to keep reading back

Magpie 2:57 - not good
Lynne, check your momster email
I agree that Lynn will handle this with grace and style, as that is who she is!!

Courage, Strength, Wisdom - that which lifts her spirit, calms her soul and eases her mind.

Thanks, DanaMo - that is a beautiful prayer and I think most of us can put it to well use.
Need to work on dinner for Kathryn and Hunter. I will return.
I was thinking that too, about sending cards to her house. She will be home before the cards get to the hospital.
When LYNN said cards only, she asked that they be sent to the house. I can vouch for the fact that things sent to a hospital don't always get delivered in a timely manner and sometimes not at all !

Well, I have to head out for a little bit too! Going to a meeting.
I love you all and we will love Lynn/Hedgie through this!
(((((GROUP HUG)))))
There should have been a question mark there. I feel for those that are just getting the update.
Well, if you don't hear from me, I've just had another disappearing post, so you'll know what happened. I will still be thinking of and praying for Lynn.
Prayers for Lynn continue.
LYNNE!! Where are you?

Duh!
Because of the drought and lack of food there have been warnings of snakes entering cities, habitation, etc.
As soon as Carolyn called earlier, I said wait a minute, let me write....and I did...
I am so proud of Carolyn, her strength, her presence amongst us, her calmness in the midst of chaos...
You know, Nurse Lynn would be the one explaining all this to us, but her daughter sure did her proud....
she gave a thorough report
God Bless Our Judie, it's such a comfort to know she is there with the family....
Love you, Eagle Pals
Beautiful prayer to St. Peregrine, DanaMo, I have printed it and will pray it....
and thanks to so many of you for helping to get the message to as many as possible with many different means....
And Thanks Paula, for setting up the Candle site.....
If interested check out Presto.com
very encouraged to read that the breathing tube is out...and that also, that Carolyn was so pleased with all the doctors and nurses...
prayers for Charlie and the girls with their dear Momma away from home
Hello all,
Heard from Carolyn. Am headed to the hospital momentarily.
Be back when I get home.
LOL! No doubt Bev...I'm sure she was interrogating right away!
good point Lynne....
I did ask Carolyn if she wanted me to post the information on the blog...and she said yes...
I think that if Lynn is able to be aware, she will absolutely demand to know....
I don't want to use up to much battery time on Caro's phone, but I will slip her a text message...about that, okay?
Thanks, level-headed one !
xoxo ♥
see that Judie, thank you....
understand....
And thanks for being there...xo
safe travels Judie!
Well, I came home from work, took the dogs out, left the grosseries all over the kitchen and came right here for an update. So, I need to get my poop in a group, feed the critters, put the grosseries away and get dinner started. And finish laundry.
I'll be back soon.
I love you all.
You had a great idea, Lynne. Changed my avatar for Lynn.
Copy that Judie. Let us know ASAP Margy, I can delete my post fast if need be....
OMG, a RATTLESNAKE.....EEEEKKKK!!!
DANAMO BEAUTIFUL PRAYER.
Prayers for Judie that all the right words come when needed.
I read JUDIE's post...I will follow with all and delete anything that needs to be deleted. I will await word from JUDIE.I wished I was able to visit too.
I will be taping NCIS and NCIS:LA
for Lynn in case she didn't program it
at home.
No more talk from me until Judie
returns or Carolyn sends a text.
Prayers Prayers and more Prayers....
I guess it is selfish prayers because I
want my friend to heal! ♥
You set a good example JO...Doing something that LYNN would enjoy and waiting to hear more...
GOD'S BLESSINGS.
I am getting up from this chair and taking a shower. About to cough my crazy head off with this sinus yuk!! I will be checking in and out. Ya'll holler if you hear anything!
MUCH LOVE AND BIG OLE ((((((hugs))))))
"Mom's in her room and is sleeping, just got situated within the last 30 mins.
Judie is on the way"
...from Carolyn....
Caro also stated that although the doctor/s have not talked to her Mother yet, she and Christie have related some of the information, and they are encourging her to rest, so I think Lynn won't be on-line tonight...
She read what I posted and said it's okay...
but thanks for that sensible thought, Lynne2, and Judie also
Thank you, Carolyn.... xoxo ♥
I think we're fine....
But, I also agree with the quietness....
Thank you to our Leaders...
GOD BLESS LYNN'S DAUGHTERS. SHE BROUGHT THEM UP WELL AND THEY ARE DOING HER PROUD. THANK YOU YOUNG LADIES, WE LOVE YOU AND YOUR PRECIOUS MAMA.
I am off for a few hours. (((Hugs ))) for all but especially for Lynn. A gentle hug, Lynn!!! Love you!
My avatar is already for Lynn- a shepherd.
I have killed off my wireless mouse. The thingy that goes into the computer is broken and part of it is still in there. Yuck! Sorry that I do not remember the names of those parts.
Shirley
I saw that set up at Lori's -
pretty neat, such a little device...
New Dinosaur is INSIDE this roost now...that's a start!
ttfn xoxo ♥
I think that it is the USB port in my computer.
Yay, Margy!!
Yep, that is what it is Shirley! That sux, can you get it out?
I am using a wired mouse now. I will need to purchase a new wireless one. I have been wondering why it was not working very well. Now I know. Figured it out when it stopped completely, and I tried to remove the thingy. It came out in pieces.
Maybe. But might leave it to my computer-savvy sons. They will know better what should come out and what needs to stay where it is.
Judie has arrived at the hospital, Carolyn loves her immediately...
Of Course !!!
xo ☺
THANKS MARGY for the updates. I am glad JUDIE is there.
SHIRLEY sorry about the wireless mouse...didn't know such a thing existed.
It was great for school, Hoda. I could control my laptop from across the room. Came in handy when I was using the data projector.
I could walk around the room while doing a presentation. Kids were impressed, too.
guess you can't use a potato like you can when a light bulb breaks in the socket...
I'm a big tweezer fan myself... with the power turned off of course!
And, they work great putting stickers on things, trust me !
Don't shock yourself, Margy.
I sure hope not much of the bulb's glass hurt anyone or anything....
It is important to remember that when you are dumping leftovers into a container, that you TAKE THE LID OFF FIRST......Just an FYI.
Hello, my name is Lynne, and my favorite color is CLEAR!
Thanks Lynne I really needed to picture
that in my mind! ROFL ♥
"That's our Judie"
So happy she is there!
soooooooo....ole Tom Sweetie is coming over to help "wrie" Margy up...Nice! So glad Lori hooked you up with then new computer Margy!
SOrry about your thing being broken off in the port Shirley. Be careful if you try to take it out.
Well Jo, at least it was the mashed potatoes and NOT the corn! DUH!
We each wish it were us, but we are well represented in JUDIE.
my USB ports don't have any red or green things.
SHIRLEY, you are being entirely too technical---"little red things", "little green thing". Please bring it down a notch or two to my level of understanding ! ☺
LYNNE, SHIRLEY's USB ports have already done their Christmas decorating and yours have not !
Well written KAY. THANK YOU.
LOL
I need to explain the well written KAY is about the post to MARGY including Carolyn...
As to KAY's USB posts is a ROFL.
I am catching the Terrific Tues TV
I will check back at commercials.
♥
Yes, Hoda, you have the right idea about the use of a potato. But, first, make sure the light is turned OFF. Might get a fried potato if you do not. Not to mention what might happen to you.
Kay made me giggle, Hoda.
Good ! It's time for us to do some giggling !
OK, I have heard that about the potato, but still, potatoes are moist and it would seem like you'd better turn off the whole circuit first, not just the light?
zzzZZZaap!
OMG Shirley, that Kathryn sure knows how to organize!!!!
remember the OLD Tupperware, the pastel suff? Certainly has come a long way, baby!
My former mother used to have and attend tupperware parties. I think because alcohol was served.
I really only use tweezers for stickers, and splinters....
just pretending I was an old hand at any other tricks...
I think [almost?] worse yet is to plunk down on a "throne" whose "seat" has been left "up" like men do..but I can't exactly say I have had the problem recently ☺
Alcohol at Tupperware parties? I must have been going to the wrong Tupperware parties. Geesh.
Kathryn has lots of red and green stuff because it was on sale after Christmas. So my cabinet is decorated for Christmas, too.
sometimes I reach for a coffee cup that I have actually put upside down in the cupboard, and start, almost start, to pour coffee into it...
ouch that could be a mess...
somehow I catch it just in time
Wow, SHIRLEY, does Kathryn know there is big money to be made in organizing closets, cabinets, etc. for rich people ? I say rich because right now they are the only folks who can afford such services. We have a friend in NJ who is making a bundle decorating baby and kiddie rooms for wealthy couples. A little creativity goes along way in this economy, you just have to think of something to market to the 1% !
nothing like rolling out our foibles !
Enjoy the Terrific Tuesday shows, folks...
mine is tuned to Christian Music...

thankfully, Stubby NEVER leaves the seat up!!!
I got a good look at a very nicely stocked Clothes Closet today....
and Lori sent some lovely gifts for the ladies ☺
I'm glad to hear other people do some stumbling and bumbling things, too. Saturday evening I filled Seth's milk glass, set it in the fridge and set the half gallon of milk on his placemat. He had a big laugh over that one, but then, so did I !
Shirley, these Tupperware parties were in the late 60s, early EARLY 70s...it was a different world then.
ROFL Lynne!!
sometimes one of the few men at work commits that error!
WOOF !! But mostly they are pretty considerate about it
and another ROFL from Kay!!
And Kay, I agree 100% with what you have said about Lynne's daughters, AND...they are beautiful to boot! Soon Christie will be making a schedule to do the Concert of the Hand Bells around Christmas time
well you know I did mean to say Lynn
sometimes get these two wonderful Lynn/Lynne's confused with my fingers ☺
I have some of the old tupperware...tried and true...
find some at Goodwill too often...
Lynne
You probably saw....my NY pal says the Tundra Swans are on the move this way...flying high....
those from his area (near Lake Erie)
seem to head towards the Chesapeake Bay and NC coastal areas
It occurs to me that I've not seen any emails from Chrissy in quite some time....has anyone heard from her??
OH Yes Margy, I read way back after absorbing the news, and I did see that! I will be keeping an ear out!!
I think someone will offer a link to that sound....maybe Lynne2 -
I'm not sure I can, let me go see
Too funny. When I take the dogs out to go "potty" and the first one squats and I say "good girl/boy" the other two automatically squat as well! Oh how they need my praise! LOL! But at least I know they all went!
Here you go!
Tundra Swans
Kay, first time I heard them, I though, Wow, those geese sound weird tonight!
YOu can go hear and listen to it:
scroll down just a little and look for the go arrow
Tundra Swans
Kay, they should be in the area...you may even have heard them thinking it was Canada Geese as I did.
I really wish I could have a dog or two and a cat or two....
that is my dream someday
and some more land, trees, and all those wonderful things
dear little tale, DanaMo ♥
OK so what happens if you DON'T praise them DanaMo!!!
lovely new pictures from Bob Quinn...and sure hope he gets some good results from his next round of testing
He will get picgures of Tundra Swans at Blackwater, and Loretta, at Patuxent River Park/Jug Bay....
they both have, in the past
Java is very stubborn and will come back into the house without going. Last winter we had trouble with her "wetting" the bed at night. I actually think it was an incontinence issue. When Annemarie takes them out she gets very frustrated when Java won't "go" for her! ☺ Believe it or not, I don't think my labs like the wet grass!
moving aside for awhile, leave room for others
back in awhile
xoxo ♥ (( Hugs ♥ )) to ALL
Hi everyone.
Woo Hoo.
Need to put my feet up a few minutes. BBL
Margy what did the doctor say about your finger??????
Okay, I am retiring to my bedroom. See you in the morning.
Rosary for Lynn tonight, hopefully I will finish it before I fall asleep! But if I don't I know the angels will finish it for me. ☺
Thank you, Judie.....well stated....
we appreciate all you are doing
thanks for the update Judie! So glad you were able to visit with her!
In view of our conversation regarding wireless mouse mysfuncion and red and gree wires.FOR SHIRLEY AND KAY
The Next Steve Jobs?
might be arthritis, Dana...
took xrays, gave me some Alleve type medicine...
I'll take about it more at another time...
thanks....xo
not surprised she wanted to get on her tonight....I sure hope she doesn't. Are we OK? or should we delete do you think?
Thanks for the report Judie. Good to hear that she is in good spirits and wanting the blog! We want her too, but we want her well rested.
DanaMo, incontinence in spayed female dogs is very common. Usually they'll rule out a UTI first, but there is a very effective medication to control it.
Clear liquids suck! I'm with her! Give me some real food! LOL!
Yes, she was on medication last year. We do think she had a UTI. She was treated for it twice. We are very careful to make sure she "goes" before bed each night, it hasn't happened in quite some time. But when it does she just gets up from sleeping and there is a big wet spot so I know it is not intentional.
She is my first female dog...so it was new to me.
My collie had that issue and was on meds from a really young age. Usually though, it doesn't start until they are older.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥'s means I love you !
Thanks Judie! Our Lynn is a gallant
lady! Love her! ♥
we love YOU Bev, and you know we all have special thoughts and prayers for YOU this week, too! (((HUGS)))
LOL!! Lynn will probably have the whole hospital in terror tomorrow if they bring her CLEAR anything for breakfast!
Thank you my friend! It is a tough week for sure, has been for 31 years now! Love and hugs!!
I pray that Lynn and her girls get some good rest tonight.
31 years can't possibly put enough space between that night and now. HUGS for Tom, too!
Kay, my mental map of Columbus is not what it was, but I do remember the two major rivers that pass through there--the Scioto and the Olentangy. Not sure which one you are near.
Bless you and Tom, Bev.
think I'll hit the shower....bed time looming. I'll check back before I hit the sack.
Yuk! Clear liquids! The broth is okay, but please, nothing sweet. Please, no Jello. I can eat it when I am not in the hospital, but not when I am recovering from surgery.
Is Gin considered a clear liquid?
Gin is clear.
It is liquid.
So, yes.
But.
The sandperson has arrived and I am tired.
Forgot to mention offered Carolyn and Christie food and lodging but they have friends nearby and that they are both beautiful ladies. It was just a treat to meet them both. Only wish it had not been in the hospital.
Restful sleep for all. Will report tomorrow afternoon.
THANK YOU JUDIE for your generosity of heart...I will look forward to your report tomorrow...Tell LYNN we love her...
See you online tomorrow, Judie.
Rest well.
Thanks for representing us at the hospital.
Good Night Precious Pals...

Judie has had a long day. I am turning on the night light and heading upstairs.
Rest well my friends.
God bless everyone on here! My life would be so empty without you all! I love you!!!!!
Praying for my buddy Lynn! (Just in case you read this Lynn, we are ahead in the polls!) :-)
Judie Judie Judie, thank you sooo much for going over to see Lynn. Love that she was pissed! LOL That's a good thing!
I heard back from Iris:
Thanks Linda,
I can received E_M mail, but can’t answer it.
Blessings,
Iris
Sissy - You're so right about the special bond on this blog and your love shines through!! Personally I wish you had the time to blog a little more so I could chat with you, but just from reading your posts, I already love you!! You're always there when support is needed! xoxo
Dear Judie, thank you so much for the report and for representing all of us. You are a gem!
Since it has been determined that gin is a clear liquid, Judie should take some along tomorrow!!☺
I'm glad to hear of Lynn's fighting spirit.
May God Bless and protect us all and the critters we so dearly love... xoxo ♥♥♥
Night ♥
Judie, thank you so much for everything. You are our momster ambassador.
OK, I'm officially heading to be now...
Will be at the front desk tomorrow and will keep the blog up for updates!

DANAWV....I'm thinking of you this week as well, with your special, sad anniversary coming up. Love and Hugs for you!!!
((((HUGS))) Carolyn and Christie! You girls hang in there and try to get some rest...your Momma needs you! thank you for keeping up posted!
JEWELS thank you so much. I hope you two can get some sleep. You did a terrific job today and I am so grateful that LYNN had the good sense to have you two...YOUR MAMA IS THE BEST. We are all rooting for her. HUGS and SWEET DREAMS. Yes do come back to the blog if you need to for lack of sleep...
geez, wish I could stay up...
Hoda, you have email!
OH WOW...with all else going on I completely forgot about the live cam being up! YAY! I hear soft clunking, and the nest is BRIGHT then DARK....clouds must be passing over the moon!
THANKS LYNNE. I much appreciate it.
My mom is the best! She raised us up to be honest, careing, loving, giving people. It is because of her, I am who I am. You all are the best friends she could ever have..again thankyou!!! Tty in the morning. With love, Carolyn
Carolyn, Christie, LYNN{{{{{HUGS}}}}}♥♥♥
Jewels, we love and respect your Momma! We are keeping you as well as her in our prayers. We are here for all of you!!!
Carolyn, Christie and Lynn,
We love all of you and are thinking of you! Lynn, you have some wonderful daughters! Thank you Carolyn for keeping us posted...you can see how much we love your Mama!
Lynne, I hadn't even checked the cam tonight...hopefully we will get a visit in the morning!
heading to bed
(((((((HUGS FOR ALL)))))))♥
You were talking about making money being an organizer. I know a young lady in Baltimore who with a friend started a business doing just that. "My Girl Friday" is their business. They do about every thing but one of their best things is organizing.
Saying good night and hope you all sleep well. It has been a prayerful day
and even though the road ahead will be rough, I know we will support our special friend, Lynn and help her through this recovery. ♥♥♥♥♥♥
AMEN MEMA JO.
Good Evening, Everyone,
Feels mighty good to be back here.
(((hugs)))
Andy, that sounds great! And, in walking distance too. Fantastic! I am sure you will certainly enjoy your time there.
Again...nite!!
Hellooooooo Morning Crew! I wish you eagles on the live cam!!!!
(((Group Hug!)))
Well, think I'll call it a day. Making sure the porch light is on. Enabling the security systems. Sleep tight, everyone! God bless, and good night. Love each and every one of you SOOOOOO much! :o]

THANK YOU WANDA. PERFECT JUST PERFECT. HUGS

Judie so glad you was able to be at the hospital to represent all of us and give our hugs to Lynn, Carolyn and Christie. Thanks big ((((((((((hugs)))))))))))
I was sitting on the couch and sending prayers for our Sweet Lovely Lynn. When I found I had fallen asleep and just woke with that last comment.
