I feel so very childish... I have to write a story for my Autobiography writing class and I can not get serious about anything...HMMMM so I have a cup of tea and say weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! LOL
Hi all! See that I did not miss a visit tonight. Jack and I have been working on the outside decorations. Gave up for today as it was beginning to feel cold. Will try to finish it up tomorrow. Will work on the tree tonight but my back is aching. Drat!
DanaMo, loved the little kinder advent wreaths. So different than teaching in the public schools.
There are many things that come across on the news that I do not understand...Norway's mass shooter was declared criminally insane and thus can avoid a jail term!!!
A kidnapped couple in Kansas, who escaped and assisste the police in capturing thier kidnapper, are being sued by the kidnapper for over two hundred thousand dollars for breach of contract!!! They had agreed to help him evade the police when he first arrived to their home and that according to him was an oral contract. The courts are looking at it!!! GO FIGURE!!!
Oh, Hoda....I thought you said WEEEEEEEEEE because of sliding through the split!!!!!! How's the crown?? Right you are....that news is all totally disgusting.
DanaMo, did you get my email about the snowman/q-tip project?
WOW...Kay's flight made excellent time once it got airborn......an hour 3 minutes! That's about 22 mins. faster than the original flight schedule. She has landed!! I know she's had a great time, but I bet she'll be glad to sleep in her own bed tonight!
Jack has decided to have a tooth pulled rather than have it crowned. There is a chance he would need a root canal, a root canal and another crown $1600. He decided to just have it pulled.
evening all! just popping in to say hello. going to eat shower and maybe fire up some hot chocolate and watch Rudolph and pretend I am 8 years old again!
Neat little trick on the time-changing on our posts, DanaMo! Thanks...just did it to my blogspots.... and thanks Lynn for the clarification of why the times were off...my explanation was WAY OFF...
Lynn, not overly generous of my gyn, he is retiring. I had one doctor for years, he retired a few years ago and this doc took over. I liked him, but now he is retiring.
Love the old-ornament memories, Jo....I have a few from my toddler days...pretty glass ones, and some that James's mother has made when she was a little tyke...
Good to know that Kay's flight is completed...she will be most-welcomed for sure by her Ohio Family ..thanks for the info, Lynn...You're Sharp!
Happy Composing, Hoda.. and Happy Movie Night, Lynne
LYNN The WEEEEEE was for the split. Then I read the news!!! Then I decided I needed another cup of tea, one can never drink too much tea!!! Now that you ask the crown the dentist...tap tap tap, squich squich squich and after about 15 minutes of that she seemed happy with the fit and gave me strict instructions that I am to come back if I was in any way unsatisfied, wished me a Merry Christmas I wished the same back to them, they hugged me and told me to be careful when I go out in the snow and we will see each other in March for a cleaning...all in all a positive experience. I paid and walked to yoga where I managed to do downward facing dog without droolimg from my numb mouth...a good day.
Lynn I followed your example and finalised the arrangements for CFUW Christmas Luncheon today. Our event is smaller than yours, 34 attending with maybe two more who will let me know later. We have some special requests, gluten free and not too much onion are examples and the restaurant seemed OK by it all.
JO this time of year is when I wished I had a TV. I like the Christmas shows from when I used to always be at MOM and DAD'S for Christmas.Enjoy the Shows. I will see if I can get some on the internet.
Loved the Hoda drolling comment So glad you got that under control I remember being in school and when we put our head down on the desk I remember drolling on the desk odd how stupid stuff flash in a head
Hoda, so glad you didn't drool when you played doggie!!!! LOL! Liesl sometimes drools on me when she's asleep on my lap. I get up with a wet spot on my pants leg!!
Judie, glad you checked in!!! Busy day at the schoolhouse, I guess...sleep tight!!!! Hope to see you tomorrow before your police class.
Thanks Lynn! I appreciate your comment. Jack will just have to chew on one side. Oh, and he is not drooling. They patched the crown, no numbness needed. Now, next week when he has a tooth pulled, he may be drooling. Poor guy!
Lolly, I needed some new lights. Looked at the trees yesterday (pre-lit) and none were as nice as my old one....and the good-looking ones were ridiculously priced. So I bought the lights and I'll hide my tree's faults, too!!
Nice to know I am in good company!☺ Waiting now for another string to be checked. As bad as these strings of lights are, I always wonder how long prelit trees last.

From one tip of West Virginia up here to the other tip of West Virginia down your way, Sharon, but at least we are in the same state for the Holidays this year! ☺
Okay, I am going to share this lovely story with you all and then I am going to bed.
This morning I got up, came downstairs, fixed my usual bowl of cereal, sat down at my desk and started to eat my bowl of cereal. Cheerios! Well, about 4 bites into my cereal, I suddenly get this nasty taste in my mouth right as I swallowed the bite. Apparently, and I have a really hard time even typing this, there was a damn stink bug in the bowl and I didn't look at it. I can't even explain it. . .
Oh, Shar---how totally awful......ugh, spit, gag......I would have died! Remember when Mema Jo found one in her coffee??? Praise the Lord that I did not have an infestation this year!!! Poor Lynne will surely sympathize with you, too. She has to be the queen of the SB's.....and Megan is probably the princess. :(
Margy, I don't like pecan pie, but since you do, I'm sure glad that Tom Sweetie treated you!!!
Doesn't seem to matter to Liesl that we slept late today. She is being a real PIA wanting her bedtime routine. Will give in--of course!!--and snuggle til she falls asleep and then tuck her in! BBL.
I sent a song written by a woman in Nelson. I had just received it. I sent it through the Momster email. I hope you are able to play it...Sorry if you can not, I could not play it from the email that I sent!!! Don't know what I did wrong...Good Christmas song.let me know if you could hear it please.
SHARON!!! That is SOME way to get in your protein intake for the day!!! OH MY!!! you have such a TERRIFIC attitude for sharing this story. GOOD ON YOU!!!
So, I'm in here in the kitchen at the computer...and I hear beer bottles clinking in the back yard...Nick had gotten into the recycle bag from the beach house, that I had just plopped over the fence into the back yard and hadn't put into the recycle bin yet...
Lynne/Hedgie, I didn't get the email, did you send it to yahoo, google or myactv.net. the myactv.net is the only email I really check unless I know something important is coming to the other emails.
Hello everyone... Soup Kitchen was very well attended, this evening, in spite of the rain. 45-50 guests...they nearly wiped out the Clothes Closet and we had to make a whole new batch of turkey salad. Soup held up well, although we had only a quart or so left. Would have run out had we stayed open another 15 minutes!
I got it Hoda, I clicked on the .m4a first, then the .doc file (which just has the words) and I'm listening to it now. It took a minute or two for it to start playing.
We had a lot of new folks to join us for dinner and gave away a lot of groceries, including hams and chickens. I tried to get one couple to sign up for the free food and they told me they had no way of cooking it, they are living in a tent. They took anything that was fuzzy from the Closet to use as blankets and some plastic bags to lay on the ground to serve as a base for their bed. I felt so bad that we had no blankets and I had left the sleeping bag at home that Lori had sent to me:( I will see that they get it next Soup Kitchen night. I think I will ask our pastor to ask the congregation for donation of any old blankets they may have. I truly fear for these folks. I feel like I need to do more than I am. I would like to give them a warm place to sleep, at least. Who knows what I might come up with. I do know our pastor would have no parts of using the church for sleeping over:(
First arrrrggggh, got hit with an error message and lost a long post.
Have only read 601-79 and will have to catch up later, or rely on youse guys to fill me in on any Momster news I should be aware of.
Had a terrific time with the kids, from start to finish ! My right hip is now giving me fits though and I'll be called the doctor tomorrow ! Time to find out what's up with it.
LYNN, yes the pilot did a stellar job of making up some of the lost time tonight. Delay in Philly due to broken windshield wiper. He announced it about the time the doors were shut. 45 stifling minutes later we "deplaned" til' the thing was replaced. I was PO'd when a flight attendent removed my coat from the overhead and told I'd have to hold it for the duration. It was a full flight including the NCU women's basketball team and entourage. They carried on way to many bags and equipment. Aggravates me that I pay $25.00 to check a bag and then must hold a coat because others are allowed to carry on way too much !
I was sooo glad to see Julie's smilng face ! Tomorrow is a Malcolm and Seth day, but I hope to catch up with all you, too !
Wanda, couldn't you convince those folks to sleep in one of the shelters??? I think there is going to be a new one on Buxton St. in the very near future......I'll check up on that. Of course, the overnight shelters have some strict rules about alcohol/drug use.....
Just remember that eveything you do is important and matters, but you can't do it all.
Paula---I agree.....how do lights fo bad stored away for the season???!!! Tsk, tsk Nick......guess those bottles smelled good!
Welcome home, Kay - so glad you had a marvelous time!
Wanda, you and Gene and the folks that help you at the soup kitchen are doing a fantastic job showing that you care for the least of your brothers.... that you do unto Him. Requesting blankets from your parishioners - gloves and hats and socks would make them feel like they were helping others also! Rest well this night knowing you have done well.
(((Hugs))) Wanda! It is so very hard dealing with situations like that on a personaly level. Just know that you are doing so very much providing warm meals.
Linda DID receive the Encouragement card I emailed her yesterday. So she has been on her email today. I WILL call her or Dennis tomorrow. I have two numbers, but not sure which is home and which is cell......she may not be able to use cell in the hospital.
Well, bath and book time. Will you all of you wonderful folks tomorrow. Prayers for all.....and peace.
THANKS LYNN for the information on LYNN. Let us know what you find out. DANAWV, I think, phoned the cell phone and there was no answer. Maybe she was in the hospital like you say no service there.
I've been working on some reports the Dr. sent me, and I got them finished! E-mailed them back to them, and will mail the originals back tomorrow. Grateful that I should be getting a fairly decent paycheck this time. Really helps this time of year!
Omigosh, Sharon!!! A stink bug?!?! EEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWW!!! YUUUUUUCK! Gives me SUCH chills just thinking about it! BLEAGH!!! Soooooo sorry about that! Bet you'll be CLOSELY inspecting every bite from now on!
Gosh, so many of you are busy doing Christmas decorations--I've gotta get busy on that! Don't know yet whether we'll put up our big artificial tree. Nearly half of the lights don't work on it. I suppose I could take the old lights off, then just string new ones on it. Seems like that might take forever, though. Will have to think about it.
DanaMo, the Advent wreaths are pretty! Such a good idea. I wanna be in your class! You do so many really neat projects!
Speaking of wreaths, I bet our Megan is working her fingers to the bone putting hers together! Hope she has a LOT of customers at market!
Lynn, I bet you and Liesl have gone to bed by now, but just wanted to mention that it's great that you were able to get an appt. with the oncologist so soon! Have it marked on my calendar. (((HUGS))) for you! Love you! BTW, had to laugh--Emma tends to get me all slobbered up. She gives herself a bath every day, and my lap gets pretty soggy too, sometimes! She will put her whole foot in her mouth, and lick it clean!
Well, think I'll call it a day. Will need an early start tomorrow if I'm going to do Christmas decorations! Have said prayers for everyone, and for every creature. Making sure the porch light is on. Enabling both security systems. Praying for especially restful sleep for everyone. God bless, and goodnight. Love all of you! :o]
DanaMo, you were up late last night. I was half way into my slumber and you were still going, you wild thing! :)
Wanda, it's always wonderful to hear about the Bretheran Angels Soup Kitchen! Sorry about the couple sleeping on the ground. Glad they got blankets. Do you think air mattresses would give them some comfort - they would just have to blow them up but they would squish down to nothing for roaming around? I already have another sleeping bag picked out so I will order it today so they both can have one.
Can't think of much that would taste worse than a stink bug! YUCK! Poor Sharon. You were probably stunned when you realized it.
Lynn, glad you're calling Linda/Dennis today. I'm so worried about her. Pray her mother is hanging in there, if she is not suffering.
JudyE, make sure you don't spend too much money on attempted computer repairs when you may be able to put it in to getting a new one. You know best, but hate to see you having such frustration. :(
Prayers for Lynn, Linda and her Mother and family, Wanda's knee, Diann and her upcoming surgery and all other ailments and pains. ♥♥♥
Oh yeah I'm a wild thing. The reason I was up Lori was because I fell asleep during Wheel at 7 ish...I couldn't believe it was almost 10 when I woke up. I stayed up for a little while reading and now of course the dogs got me up at 5.
Well it's just as well, I have homework for my class tonight. Trying to get that finished. Not too much longer and I can cross this one off my list. I still have one more to take and of course I have tons of work to do for the stupid religion class.
Trying to do some reading while I wait Would you beleive my computer was up all night again with all 4 IE open Leaving up on purpose just to test and odd how if has a mind of it own So far so good
WANDA so sad about the homeless I sat here with tears reading your comment about the lady that didn't take the food for no way to cook
I missed it, did she eat a stink bug? I guess that's worse than having one stuck in your bra which happened to me one night in bed. I don't think I shared it because I was so repulsed by it!
DANAMO here is her post Eagle-Eyed Sharon has left a new comment on the post "Monday":
Okay, I am going to share this lovely story with you all and then I am going to bed.
This morning I got up, came downstairs, fixed my usual bowl of cereal, sat down at my desk and started to eat my bowl of cereal. Cheerios! Well, about 4 bites into my cereal, I suddenly get this nasty taste in my mouth right as I swallowed the bite. Apparently, and I have a really hard time even typing this, there was a damn stink bug in the bowl and I didn't look at it. I can't even explain it. . .
that brings a story to mind which is yuky My moms neighbor had made oats one morning Elvida is her name and the kids all said oh mom the oats taste so good what did you put in it raisin Well she went to looks nowing she didn't put anything in it and found ROACHES in the box YUK for sure
Oh oh oh poor Sharon, that is way worse than having one in your bra!
Just another reason to buy American. They probably sent those damn stink bugs over in some plastic toy made in mass bulk that we spend way too much money on to give to your children!
Shirley, is Luna a good dog when you do the eye drops?? I remember when I had to put ointment in Cinnamon's eye after she had a lid cyst removed....it was a struggle!
Speaking of eyes....gotta tell a funny on me. On the way down to Annandale Mon., I opened my glasses case to change glasses, and found a little gem in the case. Wondered where in the world it came from.....Christie looked at them a nd said that it came out of the temple piece. One rhinestone on each side----and I had never noticed they were there!!! Duh! Got it reset withsome tiger glue yesterday yesterday. I always have to have Carolyn with me when I buy frames cause I can't see anything when trying them on!!!
Regarding Luna's eyes, I am still shocked every time I think about the vet who tested her eye pressure. She said that she had never tested the pressure on a fake eye before. Kathryn was amazed.
Please just check the real eye. This was a vet. Really.
Wind is blowing like crazy. Can I make it to the end of the driveway and back?? ARGH!!! Seriously bad part of cold weather for me. Christie found a cold weather mask in an ad.....going to order it and see if it helps. Easier than wrapping a neck scarf.
GM eagle buddies. Lurking as often the case. Missed early morning quick visit--and I was awake, just not on computer. Had a decent night's sleep after I put Daisy, the Golden out of the bedroom. She and William, the 3 month old kitten were just rough housing too much--and Daisy had very muddy paws--and I just washed the bedspread. She seems contrite today . Good thoughts for all.
Count me in a having computer problems--now I can't forward email ( it comes up blank). I'm almost thinking I should put $$ towards a new one instead of repairs. Mine is from 2004, has Windows XP, no real problems until recently.
Hi, Lynne1!!!! They say that if a puter is more than 3 or 4 yrs. old, best to replace rather than put $$$$'s into repairs. It's called obsolescence!!!! How's everything with you besides muddy and early players???!!!! How is your Mom?
Sorry I got home from Mothers. I stayed and watched Randolph with her. By time I finished up there. Got home I was beat.
So I have some comments from yesterday to catch up on.
Hope Lynn does hear from Linda. I never did get a text back. That worries me!!!! Linda usually calls back. That was I think day before yesterday.
See the eagles have already made their presents this morning. If Belle has spot on her now too. Maybe it is one of those things, "If you can't beat them join them--if it is dirt lol".
Good morning! 36 this morning and now up to 40. It's a sunshiny day but they keep predicting rain for this weekend. They are also saying the drought will continue for another year. More and more cities are enforcing stricter water usage. I am so tired of this!
Glad you saw Belle's inverted V this morn. Let's put rumors to rest!
I want to hear from Linda!!! I am so worried about the situation there.
Shirley, Joseph is skinny as anything but eats Laurel out of house and home even at breakfast. Jacob is heavier yet he does not like breakfast however Laurel insists that he eats before school. And, they do not like coats either, prefer light weight jackets.
Hello to All! I am up and about but not too far about. I need to read our blog for this morning before I start to comment and maybe put my foot in my mouth!
Mothers left hand was swollen when I got in there. She said it had actually gone down. It did go down more in the day. I did things for her and also errands. I did too much cause I started the pain in my hand and arm and should into chest. lol Guess which side - same side (left) as Mothers. Maybe I am having sympathy pains. lol No I know I over did. Some bags were heavy.
Remember I told you all in that one country. About the people eating the stinkbugs. Long time ago. I feel badly that happened to Sharon...I pray it does not make her sick.
HODA.....just before going to bed, I went in and looked for your email on our computer. Found it and opened it. Beautiful!!! Her voice is wonderful but the song itself is so meaningful. Trying to think how I can play it for the women here for the party next week. Maybe I will just read the words, but just not the same! Thank you for sharing!

I think that you were thinking GMT because the list shows what it is along with the actual time, Margy!
The OC thing IS GMT from what we've been told.
Lynne----snow in OAKLAND overnight....so bet that means Terra Alta, too. :(
Enjoy your revery as an 8 y.o.!

Just stopping by to say howdy only to find out Hoda is drooling NOT and others are watching Rudolph.
The sandperson sent me an email saying to expect a visit before 10pm so I am alerting you all to a potential early night of droopy eyelids.
The night light is set for 11pm. Restful sleep for all.
Lolly - is Jack drooling like Hoda is?

Hoda, so glad you didn't drool when you played doggie!!!! LOL! Liesl sometimes drools on me when she's asleep on my lap. I get up with a wet spot on my pants leg!!
Judie, glad you checked in!!! Busy day at the schoolhouse, I guess...sleep tight!!!! Hope to see you tomorrow before your police class.
Lolly, I think Jack made a very wise decision!!!
Hoda, good on you getting your luncheon plans taken care of, too!
Thanks Lynn! I appreciate your comment. Jack will just have to chew on one side. Oh, and he is not drooling. They patched the crown, no numbness needed. Now, next week when he has a tooth pulled, he may be drooling. Poor guy!
Jack is checking the lights while watching basketball and I am stringing them on the tree. Up to 3 strands so far! Lots more to go!
We really need a new artificial tree, but once this one is decorated you do not see its faults.☺
Hope that snow stays in Bluefield!!! It is down to 46° here.
I thought Jack had his tooth pulled today! My bad.....
I am going to watch an old show of
Cold Case...... Wish they had renewed
that series.....
BBL
No, Lynn, I think he wanted to think about it and also get my opinion. He gets it pulled next week.
I think we need a pre lit tree. LOL
Lolly, I needed some new lights. Looked at the trees yesterday (pre-lit) and none were as nice as my old one....and the good-looking ones were ridiculously priced. So I bought the lights and I'll hide my tree's faults, too!!
The snow was heavy and beautiful but it has stopped now. Bring it on!
I bet it is beautiful, Sharon, especially through YOUR EYES ☺
You see the good things in life...and bring them to us !
Nice to know I am in good company!☺ Waiting now for another string to be checked. As bad as these strings of lights are, I always wonder how long prelit trees last.
I saw one of those silver aluminum Christmas trees yesterday...a blast from the past. Boy was it pretty !
LOL I thought of Lynn last week when we were having so much fun in the snow!
I'm so sorry to read of the tooth problems for Jack, Lolly...
one of these days I'll be having those kinds of problems...so far, been pretty lucky.
But I don't eat jerky, because I figure it will pull a few teeth out in the process
I am so grateful deep in my soul to be back home this time of year!
I had pecan pie. Boy was it good.
A gift from Tom Sweetie, then went back and got a second helping to take to work Wednesday.
From one tip of West Virginia up here to the other tip of West Virginia down your way, Sharon,
but at least we are in the same state for the Holidays this year! ☺

There is just something about these West Virginia Hills!

Hoda
I tried, looked like the song was playing, but there was no sound to it...
others will probably get it...
I hope so !
Thanks....
Thanks for trying MARGY sorry you could not hear it. I am sure it is something that I did in forwarding it. It was worth a try.
So, I'm in here in the kitchen at the computer...and I hear beer bottles clinking in the back yard...Nick had gotten into the recycle bag from the beach house, that I had just plopped over the fence into the back yard and hadn't put into the recycle bin yet...
It's time for me to go tuck myself into bed...
Sure hope, wish we will hear from Linda soon...
I see Kay is on the E-M's email...., should be seeing her HERE soon ☺

Hoda, don't go by me....there are many things I can't access....
I doubt it is your fault
Oh Paula...that's pretty wild...
the Pooch knows how to have fun !!
Wanda and Gene
I hope Soup Kitchen was a raving success !!
'Night now, from me, myself and I, to all of You'uns out there
Lynne/Hedgie, I didn't get the email, did you send it to yahoo, google or myactv.net. the myactv.net is the only email I really check unless I know something important is coming to the other emails.
Oh Margy, pecan pie...that is a Tom sweetie for sure!
Hi,
Been checking on the blog from time to time.
Sharon--oh, yuck!! Stinkbug. Oh, good grief!!
Good news about the soup kitchen, Wanda.
Where is LYNNE 2 today I wonder? It was her first day back after five days off...
Time for me to head upstairs. I will see you tomorrow.
Good night. Rest well.
So many fed and comforted today WANDA and CAPTAIN GENE. Good on you!!!
Lynne2 checked in earlier, Hoda. Somewhere around 6-7ish?
I do know our pastor would have no parts of using the church for sleeping over:(
Wanda, glad you had a good turnout! Rain had stopped here awhile ago...
OH GROOSSSS PEEEWIE PTHAFFFF **&&^%$$)_ EEEWWWWWW BARF GAG GAG YUK BLAH
just checked back in, now that being 8yrs old again is over, only tor read Sharon's post......there isn't ENOUGH mouthwash.......
OK, heading to bed....
God Bless you and Captain Father Gene WANDA.
Thanks PAULA I went back and saw LYNNE post.
Oh ______! Sharon, that is just gross! Really having a lot of problems with our lights. This is taking forever!
Lolly, that reminds me, I probably need to buy some new lights for my tree!
And how do they go bad, sitting in a box? One of life's mysteries, LOL
Oh, geesh...it's precipitating again....almost sounds like sleet. Sure hope not!
Turning in, catch ya'll tomorrow!
(((Hugs for all)))♥
Geesh, hope not, Lynn!
DanaMo, I'm pretty sure I sent it to myactv acct. I'll resend!!
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Wanda, couldn't you convince those folks to sleep in one of the shelters??? I think there is going to be a new one on Buxton St. in the very near future......I'll check up on that.
Of course, the overnight shelters have some strict rules about alcohol/drug use.....
Just remember that eveything you do is important and matters, but you can't do it all.
Paula---I agree.....how do lights fo bad stored away for the season???!!!
Tsk, tsk Nick......guess those bottles smelled good!
Good night to all turning in. Hope you sleep snugly!
I loved the song, Hoda.
Need QuickTime on your puters to get it to play apparently.
I think I am going out tomorrow and buying a lot of new lights. I have been sitting here waiting on Jack who is working on the lights. Grrr!
Welcome home, Kay - so glad you had a marvelous time!
Wanda, you and Gene and the folks that help you at the soup kitchen are doing a
fantastic job showing that you care for the least of your brothers.... that you do unto Him. Requesting blankets from your parishioners - gloves and hats and socks would make them feel like they were helping others also! Rest well this night knowing you have done well.
Sharon - I bet you look in the bottom of your bowl tomorrow morning before you
pour in your cheerios! GROSS! Makes me
shiver and spit!
I am so glad some have been able to listen to the song.
I hope you do not have sleet LYNN.
Perhaps in the morning we will have a
fresh new thread.
Your Christmas wreath warms my heart JO.
(((Hugs))) Wanda! It is so very hard dealing with situations like that on a personaly level. Just know that you are doing so very much providing warm meals.
Think I am going to head to the shower and then to bed. A little frustrated that I did not get the decorating completed today. Oh, well!
Nite all! Sweet dreams!
Welcome home,Kay! Now, if we would only hear from Linda.
It is doing something outside but I think it is rain... temps have dropped.
I wish to hear from Linda and DanaWV
I really am praying for their mothers.
Hoda, my wreath was made by Megan Webber
I should be picking up this year's in
2 weeks - I have an artificial tree and
I love the smell of pine - so the
wreath hangs in my living room.
Now I must rest on my pillows
God Bless you all
Prayers for our needs.. and thanks for
all of our gifts..
Hugs for all ♥♥♥♥♥♥
Linda DID receive the Encouragement card I emailed her yesterday.
It is BEAUTIFUL JO. She did a GREAT job.
Enjoy the fresh one.
THANKS LYNN for the information on LYNN. Let us know what you find out. DANAWV, I think, phoned the cell phone and there was no answer. Maybe she was in the hospital like you say no service there.
Goodnight.
God keep us all in HIS GRACE and HIS BLESSINGS.
I'm going to say good night BEFORE I start the face plants:)
WISHING YOU ALL A GOOD NIGHT'S SLEEP AND REMEMBERING IN PRAYER, ALL YOUR NEEDS AND WANTS♥
Good Evening, Everyone!
Good Morning Eagle Family!
WELCOME Home KAY! You were missed!
LOL - DMo! You're so funny. Those darn Flying Labs!
Well it's just as well, I have homework for my class tonight. Trying to get that finished. Not too much longer and I can cross this one off my list. I still have one more to take and of course I have tons of work to do for the stupid religion class.
of course the flying labs are all back in bed!
should I "turn you on" this morning Lori? whattcha playing?
or have I already missed my favorites! LOL!
Dolly isn't cutting it for me! LOL
I'm going to listen to the nest.
Well, thanks a lot, DanaMO!
Sorry Lori ROTFLOL!
Good Morning eagle buds
Trying to do some reading while I wait Would you beleive my computer was up all night again with all 4 IE open Leaving up on purpose just to test and odd how if has a mind of it own So far so good
WANDA so sad about the homeless I sat here with tears reading your comment about the lady that didn't take the food for no way to cook
OH LYNN sorry about the stinkbug no good HUH Hey do they taste as bad as they stick LOL
OOPS that should have been Sharon not Lynn with the stink bug My bad I guess because Lynn always had the issue I just oopsed
SHARON you need to put the picture of the squirrel on the facebook fan page
I missed it, did she eat a stink bug? I guess that's worse than having one stuck in your bra which happened to me one night in bed. I don't think I shared it because I was so repulsed by it!
ERIC said the power source is about 35 so that won't be too bad
DANAMO here is her post
Eagle-Eyed Sharon has left a new comment on the post "Monday":
Okay, I am going to share this lovely story with you all and then I am going to bed.
This morning I got up, came downstairs, fixed my usual bowl of cereal, sat down at my desk and started to eat my bowl of cereal. Cheerios! Well, about 4 bites into my cereal, I suddenly get this nasty taste in my mouth right as I swallowed the bite. Apparently, and I have a really hard time even typing this, there was a damn stink bug in the bowl and I didn't look at it. I can't even explain it. . .
I am still gagging over Sharon eating a SB!
that brings a story to mind which is yuky My moms neighbor had made oats one morning Elvida is her name and the kids all said oh mom the oats taste so good what did you put in it raisin Well she went to looks nowing she didn't put anything in it and found ROACHES in the box YUK for sure
Oh oh oh poor Sharon, that is way worse than having one in your bra!
Just another reason to buy American. They probably sent those damn stink bugs over in some plastic toy made in mass bulk that we spend way too much money on to give to your children!
Excuse my while I run to the restroom .............. GROSS!
Ok there is enough light on the nest come on down before I have to go to work PLEASE
6:36 they showed up yesterday where are they
ok I guess I am heading out the door I was hoping to see them this am See ya at lunch
Eagle in the nest!!!
EAGLE.
BOTH EAGLES IN THE NEST!
SHEP POOFS OUT ACROSS 1
BELLE STANDS IN CENTER OF NEST TAKING IN THE SCENERY.
CAN TELL IT'S BELLE WITH GOOD VIEWS OF HER INVERTED "V".
SHE'S ALSO BEHAVING JUST AS BELLE DOES, STANDING STILL IN THE CENTER OF THE NEST.
yeah, it looks like Belle, I see the V and it looks like she is waiting for breakfast to be delivered.
oops she gave up and decided to get it herself. Just like a woman.
BELLE - POOF -- OVER 3.
I sure hope they come back. I wish I had an alarm on my computer to tell me they are in the nest!
Time to put my face on! BBL
LOL -- ROTFLMBO! Very funny, D-Mo!
Good Morning Eagle Pals....
Saw those eagles....they sure didn't do any housekeeping this morning!
I hope they come back...
lots of nice nesting material in the nest though...
Good morning everyone! Saw both eagles in the nest and I did see a spot on both heads. Reckon Belle got into something?
Tomorrow we can put pics it the brand new spanking clean December album Jo has set up in the E-M photo spot
Thanks Jo !
Shucks, been watching off and on, but I missed the visit. Was feeding dogs.
Need to remember to put drops in Luna's eye. Please do not let me forget. Next time I get up.
And they snuck out before Color Time!
Hello there Sissy....
and everyone else....
Nice sunny day coming up in these parts....sun is making its moves right about now...
That nest is ripe for some nestorations with all that flugg...
Lovely Soup Kitchen and Clothes Closet report, Wanda
remembering when you first started, and you were only having 8 - 10 guests..
Good News Travels Fast!
You folks are doing a magical ministry for our hometown folks...
God Bless You, ALL...
We're not sure about the spots, Sissy....
but we're watching
Lynn...
that would be great if you can make contact with Linda or Dennis, thank you in advance.....
That's our Hedgie !!
Welcome Home ☼HI☼ Sunshine Kay.....
Best Wishes for a Good Day, Everyone
worktime looms, see you later....
xoxox ♥
Good morning my friends.
Good morning, Thelma.
Good Morning Margy, Shirley and Thelma!
I see there is no snow at the nest. We have a pretty dusting with misty snow right now.
Off to school. Temperatures are 20 degrees colder than yesterday. Poo
Darn, I missed a visit already this morning.
Heard a clunk.
Time to take care of Luna's eye and pack Hunter's lunch. BBL.
Hi, Thelma....and everyone else!
LOL...poor JudyE---her leaving for work seems to bring those crazy birds right on in!
DanaMo---you wear your bra to bed??? Ouch! Can't imagine being bound up like that 24 hrs. a day!
Did you get my email this time?
Sissy, glad you got to see the visit!
Chilly here but sun is shining. Hope it is the same for the rest of you!
Nope, T-bird---no snow here, thankfully!!
Shirley, is Luna a good dog when you do the eye drops?? I remember when I had to put ointment in Cinnamon's eye after she had a lid cyst removed....it was a struggle!
Hedgie, no but I had crawled in just to read. I hadn't gotten sleep ready yet.
I like to keep it on until I go to bed because I have 3 young men in my house...
Got it Lynne. I will look at it now. Not sure how I missed it.
LOL, DanaMo---gotcha on the bra!!!
Eye drops taken care of.
Lunch packed.
Just realized that Hunter did not eat a bite of lunch yesterday. He brought it all back. No wonder he was so hungry when he got home.
Refusing to have any breakfast today.
He did say that he can eat breakfast at school. That he can, but I do not know if he will. Just can't force him to eat, though.
Please holler if Belle or Shep grace us with their presents. I'm going throw withdrawal.
Hear that truck backing up? Or is it me?
Luna does well with the eye drops, Lynn. Sometimes, a bit of trouble getting her to hold her head up, but not bad.
Just got to school, man is my desk a mess!
Why is it a mess, Dana? Was someone in your classroom overnight? Gremlins??
LOL, Thelma....I hear you!
I also hear the equipment backing up!
Liesl is still asleep. Gonna have to wake her up! Lazy pup!
Regarding Luna's eyes, I am still shocked every time I think about the vet who tested her eye pressure. She said that she had never tested the pressure on a fake eye before. Kathryn was amazed.
Please just check the real eye. This was a vet. Really.
Shirley....pediatrician ALWAYS told my mother "she'll eat when she gets hungry." And I did!!!
Hunter is on the bus now. Still wearing the light jacket. I get cold standing on the porch with my lined raincoat.
Good grief, Shirley----that is unbelievable. Does she have a boss??? I hope so and that Kat reported her!
Kathryn changed vets, Lynn.
They had already messed up on checking Luna's eye previously.
Wind is blowing like crazy. Can I make it to the end of the driveway and back?? ARGH!!! Seriously bad part of cold weather for me. Christie found a cold weather mask in an ad.....going to order it and see if it helps. Easier than wrapping a neck scarf.
Do trucks ever go forward in the nest area? I have a mental picture of trucks backing constantly down that road by the nest.
Shirley
that is funny
your last post....
about the trucks...
cold weather mask sounds interesting, Lynn
those scarfs with the hat "attached" are nice...chenille fabric, so cozy-fying
Good Morning More Eagle Pals...
going back to the other five computer screens now
Well, I've got other things to do. It's not anything like visiting with my momster and dadster friends but what ya gonna.
I am not feeling too good this morning....I know I haven't overdone anything.....maybe it is just healing pain!
Margy, I HATE hats!!!!! Avoid them at all costs!!!!
Maybe it's the cost of refilling Rx's (co-pay) in the stoooopid doughnut hole that is making me feel yucky. ARGH!!!!!
Good Morning Eagle Friends (:
I need to read our
blog for this morning before I start to comment and maybe put my foot in my
mouth!
BBILW
Lynn, sorry you are not feeling too good this morning. Over do????
Jack commented on the equipment backing up on the cam. Wonder what they are doing near the nest?
We are once again headed to another split. Time for a new thread!
Lots of activity at NCTC
lol beep beep backing up truck that can't go forward beep beep lol
Can you all hear the wicked wind at the nest? Same as it is here. I hate wind!
LOLLY do you have a tape player that you could record it on???
Post a Comment
