Deer grazing in the grass in the field.
1233 pm - Bella in with a stick.
1240 pm -Bella moves some fluff about.
1241 pm- Scout lands with a stick.
1246 pm- Scout exits Bella stays put.
1254 pm- Bella exits the nest
152 pm -Bella arrives with a corn stalk.
154 pm- Scout arrives with a stick. They start working on the egg cup. They looks a wee bit wet.
342 pm - Mr Eagle Scout arrives to the nest with a stick he pokes around at the base and he seems to have found a little bit of morsels over at the crib rail
348 pm -poof off to the stick store
437 pm -bella returns of course she has bedding she digs and pulls bedding out of the bowl area preparing for our egg maybe it'll be a little dryer down there with the rain
443 pm -Bella is standing in the egg cup region. She is trying to move that wonky branch. She tries hard to shake it loose even steps on it.
445 pm -Bella is fussing with the bedding and looking toward the grove.
447 pm- Bella still in the egg cup. This looks like the real thing.
448 pm- Bella is posturing like she is in labor. Standing, rain rolling off her back. Yep this is it.
449 pm Bella looks down a bit, wings open slightly she cowers a bit
450 pm Bella sits down deeper into the egg cup small poop shoot and a soft cheep. Moves side to side just a bit.
451 pm -Bella cheeps and bears down; leans in, her back coat feathers quiver a bit. More leaning in and pushing; another soft cheep bearing down and we have an egg. Well done Bella and she quickly gives us a good view of the egg as she repositions and rolls the egg. Congratulations Bella and Scout 🐣🥚541 pm- Scout flies in and lands at the BST. Bella is incubating she spots him.
542 pm- Scout flies up to the attic and is perched there. Bella watches him fly in and land in the upper branches above the nest, she calls up to him.
547 pm- Bella rolled the egg then resumed incubation. Glad to see Scout up in the attic protecting his family.
